My name is Suzi, and I specialize in working with children ages newborn through 4 years old. I'm a certified potty training expert 💩, certified newborn care specialist 👶 new parent coach ❤️, pediatric sleep consultant 😴 certified postpartum doula and former career nanny. I'v been working with children and assisting parents for 30 years. My expertise is largely gained through decades of hands on experience, along with ongoing education and up to date training. POTTY TRAINING ~ 💩 Whether you're unsure how to begin, you've run into roadblocks, frustrated or simply nervous about potty training, I'm here to support you and your child through this major milestone development of them achieving autonomy. CERTIFIED NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST ~ 👶 I'd love to support you! I provide overnight newborn care support so you can rest. Bringing home a baby can be amazing, but also exhausting. Sleep deprivation is real and lack of sleep can lead to postpartum depression. Typical duration of support: 4 to 5 nights a week, 10/12 hours a night, for 12-16 weeks. By the end of my stay, you can expect to have your baby sleeping through the night and on a predictable daily schedule. NEW PARENT COACH~ ❤️ I wish I knew then what I know now! I'm a seasoned mom of two grown boys and have gained a wealth of knowledge both personally and professional through hands-on experience, and ongoing education. Parenting isn't a cake walk! It's hard work and exhausting, mixed with amazement and exhilaration of love and joy like you've never experienced before. SLEEP TRAINING~ 😴 Sleep is essential to every family’s well being. Without adequate sleep, children cannot function at their best, nor can the parents. Every child’s sleep needs can differ. What works for one child and their family might not work for another, which is why my sleep training approach is catered to your family's goals and curated to your child's specific needs and abilities. Allow me an opportunity to end sleep deprivation for your family! Certified Postpartum Doula ~👣 Providence an all inclusion and comprehensive overnight overview care. I love writing reviews, but only for people who truly deserve it — and Suzi Schwartz absolutely does! We hired Suzi to help with potty training our daughter, and I honestly cannot thank her enough. Suzi is incredibly knowledgeable, with years of experience, and the moment she explained what was going on and shared her tips, everything finally made sense. I had tried potty training twice on my own before and felt like I failed each time. The third time, I wanted to make sure I didn’t fail again — so I hired Suzi, and it was the best decision. After just one month, my daughter was fully potty trained. She started at 2 years 3 months old and was completely trained by 2 years 4 months. Suzi made the whole process smooth, supported us the entire time, and truly set us up for success. Thank you so much, Suzi. It was wonderful working with you, and I’m so grateful for the amazing outcome!

Hello, my name is Stella! I am eager to support you throughout your reproductive journey, from early planning to postpartum. My main role as a doula and educator is to provide you and your family unit with evidence-based information, guide you to make intuitive decisions, provide your physical body with healing touch and pain-relieving techniques, and support the co-regulation of your nervous system through listening, breathwork, continuity of care, and tenderness during any phase of your reproductive journey. I am originally from Bellingham, Washington and now live in Los Angeles, California. I have a strong belief that birthing people deserve the care, information, and support they desire. I am passionate and fierce about this work, while providing much needed humor and levity. I am committed to assisting you in getting the resources you need, whether that be working with me or providing sufficient referrals. As a queer person, I am eager to support queer, trans, and gender non-conforming families through their pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum journies. Some things I like are writing poetry and reading books, going outside and laying in the sun like a lizard, trying a new craft, listening to Britney Spears, baking something and putting cardamom in it, learning about ecology and religious philosophies, making lists, going to estate sales, being kind to strangers, and looking at the stars when camping.

Rechelle Patterson

Hi! I’m Rechelle, a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist based in Long Beach, CA. Growing up in Victorville, an underserved community with limited access to OB/GYNs and specialized care, shaped my passion for maternal health and advocacy. My journey into postpartum support began with an internship at Black Infant Health, where I saw firsthand the impact of culturally relevant care, especially for Black families facing higher risks and poor health outcomes. I trained with the DNT Network, a program that prepares doulas to provide high-quality, evidence-based postpartum and newborn care, because I value relationship-centered, accurate, and accessible care for every family. My background in public health, combined with personal experience supporting my brother who has special needs, has shown me the gaps families face and inspired my mission to close them. As a doula, my philosophy is simple: every family deserves compassionate, personalized support. I work closely with families to provide postpartum care in ways that are grounded, practical, and nurturing. Whether it’s feeding, soothing, sleep, light household tasks, or emotional support, my focus is on practical care that makes your nights easier. My mission is to reduce maternal health disparities while honoring the unique needs of each family I serve.

Rechelle was such a blessing during my birth journey. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. She brought so much comfort and reassurance, not just for me but for my family too. Her presence was calming, her knowledge was grounding, and I I highly recommend her to any family looking for a dedicated and loving birth worker.

Hello Everyone! My name is Donna Moragne-Hanson. I'm a licensed midwife in Los Angeles, CA providing well-woman, pre-conception, prenatal/postpartum midwifery care, childbirth education, lactation support, and doula support from the privacy of my in-home birthing studio. Here you & your family are provided with everything you need for a safe, comfortable and peaceful birth. Receive up to 24 Golden Hours of "Mothering the Mother" & newborn postpartum care as you enjoy 3 homemade meals prepared to restore, center and balance your body before journeying home with your new babe. I offer specialty services such as yoni steams, healing herbal baths, add-on postpartum midwifery care packages and "Closing of the Bones" ceremony which brings spiritual closure to your birth. For me, establishing trust with my client is the most important and fundamental. My practice is built on nurturing trust and learning to let go of the things we allow to interfere with trust. I want to encourage trusting in yourself; trusting in your body (and the natural process of giving birth); trusting in your baby (and their own divinely written birth story); trusting in humanity (and the world your baby is born into) and trusting in our partnership, as client and midwife. I believe, "when a woman is heard, she is seen; when she is seen, she has a voice"; and as her midwife I am compelled to encourage her to honor that voice; her voice. In this way I believe I am blessed with an opportunity to fulfill my role as supporter, facilitator, educator and client advocate; the ultimate calling of a midwife. For me, describing the process of birth is like trying to describe a miracle; and walking with a woman as she becomes a mother is even more profound…I am beyond words. Donna, LM, CPM

Donna gave me the confidence and calm I needed for my first birth. She was there every step of the way to answer all my questions, no matter how silly! My doctor was very impressed with how prepared and informed I was. I would love to work with Donna again.

I’m a dedicated postpartum doula and proud mom of two boys, with a deep passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My journey working with children began in a Montessori setting, where I cared for little ones ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. That experience, along with years of babysitting, helped me develop a strong understanding of child development and a genuine love for nurturing young children. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I worked as an overnight nanny, supporting families through those tender and often exhausting newborn nights. It was during this time that I realized how meaningful it was to care not just for babies, but for parents as well. Wanting to provide more intentional, informed support, I pursued professional training to become a postpartum doula. Now, I’m honored to walk alongside families as they adjust to life with a new baby—offering compassionate care, practical guidance, and a calm, reassuring presence during this special transition.

Andrea is truly one of the most insightful doulas I could have asked for. She completely exceeded all of my expectations, from her knowledge and guidance with breastfeeding to how incredibly helpful she was throughout the night with my newborn. She also has such a warm, inviting energy that made me feel comfortable and supported from the start. I’m so grateful for her support and would absolutely book with her again!

Our experience with Melanie was nothing short of exceptional. Melanie was our NCS from the day our son was born until 6 months of age. She truly operated as the Lead NCS for our household, setting the standard for everyone else and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Her level of organization was outstanding. Melanie was always proactive about keeping me informed on anything that needed restocking and made sure our home was consistently well prepared and fully supplied. Melanie’s commitment to hygiene and safety was a huge stand out for us. She maintained the highest standards of cleanliness in caring for our newborn and was incredibly diligent about safe sleep practices at all times, which gave us real peace of mind. Every night, she provided thoughtful, consistent updates so we always knew exactly how our son was doing. Melanie also took the initiative to organize and coordinate the nightly schedule between myself and the other staff, ensuring everyone was aligned and that care was consistent. All of our son’s feeding, sleeping, and changing items were always perfectly organized and ready, making everything feel effortless. Beyond technical skills, Melanie brought a level of professionalism and leadership that elevated our entire household. She truly ran a well-managed, attentive, and calm environment for our son, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and structure she provided during such an important time. We hope to have her back for baby #2!

So happy I picked Shy to watch my baby boy. Unfortunately, my maternity leave was only about a month, and I knew there was no way I would have been able to continue doing night shifts while working. I found Shy from a referral, and she really helped make my night so much easier! While I still had to wake up for breastfeeding, Shy was there for all the transitions and allowed me to really get the most sleep I could by taking care of literally everything. Even just the fact that my pump parts were always washed and ready to go made life so much easier! Even just watching her holding my baby, I could tell that she truly does care, and just that alone let me know my baby was always in good hands! Once again, thank you so much, Shy, couldn’t have done this without you!
