I am an artist and writer living near Toronto, Canada. I am passionate about being outdoors as much as possible and watching things grow. I believe in the goodness of the human body and am specifically in awe of the birthing body’s magic. The rhythms and cycles we live in at a physical and emotional level have always fascinated me. Hello! My name is Lauren, the hands on and heart led birth and postpartum doula in Durham Region. I'm also a big homebody who loves to read, craft my own tea blends, make natural skincare products and candles, and spend time in nature as much as possible. Becoming a doula felt like stepping into a path that was already laid out for me. I have always felt a fierce protection for other women, and connected easily and deeply with the women in my life.
