Britanee is a great mix of professional and personable. When she met us at my home she brought things for my daughter to play with and was able to joke around with my husband, who is a person that usually takes some warming up to. Britanee was great support during my VBAC, was prepared with all her tools, and jumped in when I couldn't say what I needed. She helped me keep my wishes when doctors wanted something different and helped me accomplish my goal. She was a great teammate to have through my pregnancy and labor.

I have always had a passion to support women and babies every since I was younger. I have been in the medical field for 7 years now since I graduated high school and am a medical assistant. I have also been a newborn nanny to multiple families. I fell in love the women’s health/OBGYN/labor and delivery when I started as a medical assistant 4 years ago and was a medical assistant for 2 years at a women’s clinic and fell in love with the women’s clinic and got to shadow over 10 births by the midwives and OB’s at the clinic. I am currently applying for nursing school to become a labor and delivery nurse but wanted to be active in this field of work right now, so this is where I decided to become a birth doula. I feel that I am very equipped and experienced in this field and cannot wait to meet you and your family and help you bring your baby(s) into the world in a way you feel comfortable and proud of and I am here to support you along that journey!
Hannah provided doula services. She had handy tools/check lists for us liek hospital bag lists. She was super available as the delivery date approached and advocated for things we wanted when we were in the moment and not thinking. Hannah was super pleasant and kind and added to a positive birthing experience. I felt like I had someone extra in my corner helping me even as my plan changed.

I'm Lauren, a birth doula and photographer based in Milwaukie, Oregon, just outside of Portland. I grew up in Delaware, but have lived on the West Coast since 2017. I am a mom to one child, two dogs, and a cat. I love reading, getting outside, and exploring new cities. I love trying out new hobbies: currently, I'm learning how to crochet! I trained through Doula Love Portland's DONA International and OHA Approved program. My practice is trauma-informed, inclusive, and evidence-based. I honor all paths to parenthood and believe that every person deserves compassionate, culturally responsive care during their most vulnerable moments. I believe birth is not just a beginning. It is a continuation of a lineage - of wisdom, of strength, of becoming. I am here to hold space for you to make your own choices while feeling supported, safe, and seen.
We were so happy to have Lauren join us on our second birth journey! We instantly felt comfortable and at ease with her from the moment we met. Things didn’t go exactly as we’d planned, but having Lauren there with us made everything feel so much more reassuring. Lauren is really knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the birth experience, making her a wonderful partner to have by your side.

I'm a former licensed teacher of over 25 years that followed my passion to change my side job of childbirth education and birth doula work into a full time career. It started with earning my credentials as a childbirth educator from the Seattle Midwifery School and teaching in Portland area hospitals but morphed into doing birth doula work as people I met invited me to be part of their births. I like to say I fell into birth doula work unintentionally, but it ignited a passion to do it all that I could (while raising young children, teaching kindergarten part time, and teaching childbirth prep. WHEW! Those were busy years!) Fast forward to 2022, when I became an empty nester (letting both my scientist and my opera singing daughters fly!) and made the decision to leave the classroom and pursue birth doula work and childbirth education. I hold a Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction, so helping birthing people and their support team learn about birth is a natural and easy process for me. Once I decided to do birth work full time, I pursed further education as a birth doula (which was a review of a TINY part that I learned through childbirth educator training, LOL!) and became DONA certified as a birth doula. Through the years I have been lucky to experience a wide variety of births: medicated, unmedicated, planned and unplanned cesarean, VBAC, and so much more. I have years of experience helping those that birth, with or without neurodivergence and other challenges, find their way to empowerment and joy, no matter how their birth journey unfolds. I pull from a wide range of tools, tricks, and methods to provide what YOU would like your birth to look, sound, and feel like. From Hypnobirthing, breathing, crafting the ideal birthing environment to Spinning babies, position work, and comfort measures (comforting touch, using water & heat, leveraging pleasure for more oxytocin), I actively pursue discovering YOUR magic combination for reduced discomfort, labor length, and stress. I keep the birth space calm, safe, easy-going, compassionate, and positive, so that you can enter parenthood empowered and joyful. I provide individualized education, encouragement, and planning prior to labor, and support during the birth process to take the pressure and stress off of you and your labor support though an experience that can have a bazillion variables and may be alien to you. I keep it simple and as stress free as I possibly can so that you can be fully present and enjoy your prenatal, birth, and postpartum experience.
We had a great experience with Lori! She was a calm presence and a great support. My husband was pretty freaked out during my labor so having Lori was a lifesaver. We would definitely recommend her!

I love to help the people around me to feel safe and supported. My passion is supporting families during the arrival of their baby, no matter the route, with the birthing person and their support team’s intentions at the forefront. I support my families through encouragement, position changes, calming touch, breathing techniques, advocating and forming a bond with the birthing person and their family to help develop a comforting environment to birth in. Birth is an experience that can foster growth, strength and passion and I feel my purpose is to help every expectant parent I interact with to have a positive and empowering transition into parenthood. Labor is transformational!

Hello! My name is Angel McGinn and I have worked as a Registered Nurse for the past 15 years. My favorite positions were the ones I held as a Postpartum and/or Labor and Delivery nurse. I love being with families as they transition into parenthood and/or continue to grow their families. I’ve worked in many different areas of nursing, but decided to step away from the hospital to pursue my dream of becoming a Doula and being able to provided 1:1 client care. Additionally, I struggled with breastfeeding both of my boys, which prompted me obtain my CLC -lactation certification, so that I could be of assistance others in their chest/breastfeeding journey. Being a Doula is a new role for me, but this work is 100% aligned with what I believe I was made for. I have always wanted to be able to provide care at this level, so this transition has been like a dream come true for me! I am married and this year will be our 13th wedding anniversary in September. We have three children together and my husband has two from a previous marriage that are now young adults. Our two boys are 12 and 3.5 and we have a sweet baby girl that lives in heaven. I’m a birth doula who offers evidence-based, intuition-centered care grounded in informed consent. I believe every family deserves support that honors their unique needs, values, and voice—because no two births are the same. I came into this work through my own experiences, shaped by a quiet strength that has grown into fierce advocacy. Once soft-spoken, I learned to stand tall in the face of adversity. Now, I hold space with both tenderness and power, walking alongside families as they navigate one of life’s most sacred transitions. My care is both grounded and flexible—rooted in knowledge, guided by intuition, and always centered on you.

I am here to nurture your body, mind, and soul, ensuring you are cared for every step of the way.
Crystal is an amazing doula - she lives and breathes this work. I sought her out after I learned she had natural births with both of her babies and had experience with co-sleeping and breastfeeding. She delivered on that experience and expertise by setting me up with all the coping skills my husband and I needed to labor at home. She took time to answer my questions about the birthing process, breastfeeding and post partum, provided me with useful tools, checked on me frequently, loved and supported me during my post partum and has continued to be a resource since. I highly recommend Crystal as your doula as she will put her heart and soul in to being there for you. Crystal really walks the talk which was so important for me in choosing the right doula. Don’t let her slip away!

Hi there! I’m Stephanie, a birth doula based in Salem, and I’m so excited to support you and your family through this transformative journey. Before stepping into birth work, I spent 11 years as a teacher, working with students from diverse backgrounds. Birth is not one-size-fits-all, and you deserve support that respects your choices, values, and instincts. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, preparing for birth, or adjusting to life with a new little one, I’m here to provide compassionate care every step of the way. I believe that knowledge is power—especially when it comes to birth. I also understand that birth doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s an experience that impacts your partner, family, and birth team. That’s why I provide comprehensive support to your entire circle, making sure everyone feels informed, involved, and empowered. Birth isn’t just about the baby—it’s about you, your well-being, and the experience you want to create. Inclusivity and respect are at the heart of my practice. I’m passionate about de-stigmatizing mental health and emotional well-being, and I firmly believe that every family deserves the support they need—whether that’s through professional help, community resources, or simply having someone to lean on. I am committed to being an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and advocating for anti-racist practices in all aspects of my work. Your family is unique, and I’m here to support you in a way that feels right for you. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll probably find me curled up with a romance or fantasy novel, getting lost in a new crafting project, or tending to my ever-growing collection of plants (and trying to give away new starts I’ve rooted on my windowsill). I also love experimenting with vegetarian and vegan recipes, going on long walks, and enjoying imaginative games with my husband and two kids. No matter how your birth unfolds, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and fully supported. Whether you're loving every moment of pregnancy or just trying to survive it, you don’t have to do it alone. I’d love to walk alongside you on this journey!

Having spent more than 10 years as a teacher, she naturally integrates her unique teaching style into the birth room, helping mothers feel confident, informed, and empowered during one of the most transformative experiences of their lives. When she’s not supporting mothers, Miara loves to stay active. A lifelong dancer, she enjoys working out, hiking, singing, and dancing to maintain a strong connection with her body and spirit. In her spare time, she delves into the mystical and holistic world, reading tarot cards and exploring astrology, meditation, grounding, and other practices that promote balance and self-awareness. These interests are an essential part of her personal philosophy, and she seamlessly incorporates them into her work with mothers. Miara’s approach to birth is as holistic as it is joyful. She incorporates the five senses, movement, and mental stability to create an immersive, empowering birth experience. From soothing sounds and calming scents to rhythmic movement and mindfulness techniques, Miara crafts a serene and supportive atmosphere where mothers can feel fully present, grounded, and connected to their bodies. Her goal is to create an unforgettable experience that celebrates the beauty of birth and helps mothers transition into motherhood with strength and confidence.
I loved having Miara as my postnatal coach, she really helped me get organized and helped me realize what my needs were by asking in depth questions and offering positive but realistic suggestions. She helped me prioritize my needs and responsibilities. I am so glad that she was my coach. She is a great support person to have on your team.

Hi! My name is Skyler and I am a labor and postpartum doula serving Washougal, Camas, Vancouver and Portland. I have a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and have completed the Maternal Support Practitioner certification through Bebo Mia. It's my goal to create a space where you feel supported, empowered, and educated to make decisions that support yourself and your family. I have a passion for helping to create a village from pregnancy to postpartum!
Where do I begin? Skyler pretty much became part of our family now. She is just absolutely incredible at what she does and was the perfect postpartum doula. From listening to me cry through the Baby Blues to making sure I have enough water and eat lunch, Skyler always knew exactly what my family and I needed in the moment. She is extremely empathetic and has some kind of a sixth sense which helped her always do and say the right thing. The way she handled my toddler boys and my newborn baby girl with so much grace and patience was inspiring. Skyler is extremely organized, clean, an amazing cook and creative with looking after the older kids. I feel fortunate to have met her and create a bond that we now share. You cannot go wrong with hiring Skyler and I would even say, you absolutely need her to survive the postpartum period.
