I I'm Stephanie, the owner of Gentle Birthing. My passion for birth work began after the home birth of my first child in 2010, when I experienced the incredible support of a midwife and birth team. That experience inspired me to help other women learn about their birth options and approach birth with confidence. Since then, I've welcomed six children through home births, including five water births, and have continued to deepen my knowledge of pregnancy, birth physiology, and natural comfort measures. The encouragement I received from my own birth team shaped the way I viewed birth, and I strive to provide that same compassionate, evidence-based support to the families I serve. In addition to birth work, I have experience supporting families during the postpartum period, providing overnight newborn care as they adjust to life with a new baby.
