Today, as both a mother and grandmother, I've had the privilege of watching motherhood unfold across generations. That's why I believe good doula care begins with listening. I was drawn to doula work because I wanted to provide women with the kind of steady, compassionate support that can be so meaningful during labor and birth. My approach is especially centered around comfort care and birth coaching. I help mothers explore different labor positions, movement, relaxation and comfort techniques while also providing the emotional encouragement that can be just as important during labor.
