We had an incredible experience with our birth doula, Elizabeth, and cannot recommend her enough. She is truly down to earth, kind, caring, supportive, and knowledgeable. From the very beginning, Elizabeth made herself available by phone, and we always felt comfortable and confident reaching out with questions before labor. Once I went into labor, it was reassuring to notify her and she generously made herself available to support us. During labor, Elizabeth provided amazing emotional support and helped me through some of the rougher contractions with tools and support. She was also a strong advocate and helped guide us through decision making in the labor process. In addition to offering knowledge and guidance, having another familiar, calming face in the room made a huge difference. Elizabeth took the time to really get to know us before labor and followed up with a visit afterward, which meant so much. Having a doula like Elizabeth added an extra layer of support, advocacy, and reassurance that allowed us to feel more grounded, informed, and cared for throughout the entire experience. We truly loved having her as part of our birth and are so grateful for the role she played in it.

My name is Briana, and I am a Full Spectrum Doula and Birth Photographer serving clients in NYC, Nassau County, and Westchester. I am certified and insured in birth, postpartum care, and breastfeeding education. My passion for supporting women through every stage—from preconception to postpartum—comes from my own journey through infertility, loss, and birth trauma. After the birth of my first child, I discovered my inner strength and a powerful drive to advocate for others. That experience led me to become certified and dedicate myself to providing compassionate, informed support to women navigating their own unique health journeys. I am the proud mother of three, including twins, and have gained invaluable knowledge in reproductive health, pelvic pain, pregnancy, and postpartum care through a combination of research, course training, and most importantly, hands-on experience. I offer a complimentary initial session to get to know you, understand your needs and preferences, and answer any questions you or your partner may have prior to booking care. Feel free to reach out by text or email—I’m here to support you. Phone: 914.414.1115 Email: ondemanddoulas@gmail.com Socials @demanddoula

As first time parents, my wife and I went into her pregnancy with nervous anticipation. Even after reading the books, going to feeding seminars and ingesting as much information as possible there was still the fear of the unknown. Brie calmed all of those fears with her knowledge, experience and calm demeanor. I will never forget her steady hand when we faced unexpected challenges. She took my and my wife's fears and confusion, explained our options and helped give us the birthing experience that we wanted. I could not imagine doing this again without her. I can't express my gratitude enough Brie. You helped deliver my daughter and for that I will always be grateful.

If you wish to contact me and schedule an appointment, please visit my website https://thelaborlounge.org/contact/ Ines Serna is a mother, childbirth educator, and doula with a Master of Health Sciences in Public Health. She became interested in pregnancy and the birth process after having her first child in 2010. Shortly after, Ines started working for the childbirth education department at a prestigious Bergen County hospital, where she gained a great deal of knowledge about maternity services. After the birth of her second child in 2014, she decided to become a childbirth educator. Through her two birth experiences, she realized that the power of knowledge can have a positive impact on birth outcomes. While working as a childbirth educator at the hospital, Ines saw the necessity of giving additional support to her clients. She has trained with DONA International to obtain all the required skills to assist mothers during the birth process. Ines is dedicated to expanding her knowledge by attending maternal and child health conferences, seminars, and networking with health professionals in the community. Ines’s extensive hospital experience has allowed her to see and understand the need to continue advocating for patient-centered care. She believes a patient’s personal preferences, such as values, cultural traditions, family support, and lifestyles, must be taken into consideration. Ines is passionate about supporting expectant parents by making sure they understand that they have options before, during, and after birth. She firmly believes that EVERY woman deserves a good support network. A network that consists of health professionals, along with family, friends, and, of course, the support of a doula, is the greatest gift parents can experience in their lifetime. Liz Treacy

Hi! I’m Liz. I’m a Brooklyn-based doula providing birth and postpartum support in the broader NYC area. My doula journey started a year after the birth of our delightful, curious baby. I had been feeling an immense pull toward more local, hands-on work and a desire to help create the world I want our children to live in. Motivated by my birth and postpartum experience, I completed my DONA International Birth Doula Training in 2026. Since then, I have advanced my training through mentorship with Manhattan Birth and NYC Birth Village. Prior to pursuing birthwork, I spent a decade planning and implementing within nonprofits and startups. Understanding, connecting with, and communicating with people has always been the heart of my work. I love the active process of making sense out of messiness and adapting toward what feels right. I am a daughter, sister, partner, and mama. You can often find me climbing, reading, and exploring outside with family and friends. Nature has been one of my greatest teachers — I aim to live with gratitude, awe, and a deep respect for all creatures. My pronouns are she/they. I proudly support parents of all genders.

Absolutely fantastic working with Liz. A real life saver. My partner had an unplanned c-section and I had to return to school to teach when our baby girl arrived. Having Liz fit seamlessly into our lives allowed me to focus on work and give my partner the time she needed to rest or focus on herself, for those few moments during the day. This was invaluable. Outside of that, Liz has a professional and hard working mindset. She is very organzied and communication with her was always easy, open and honest. It allowed me to make requests and work with her to organzie suitable times for all concerned. Along with her spreadsheets of detailed help sessions, Liz was a real pleasure to have in our immediate family in those precious first months. If you are looking for someone to add aue to your new family life, then Liz is the person for you!
