Hey there! I'm Jenn Carlson, your friendly neighborhood doula! I call Springfield, VA home, where I live with my husband, Eddie—a rock musician who moonlights as a film critic. I have been in the healthcare field since I completed my Bachelor of Science at Marymount University where I studied Health Promotion and minored in Public Health. I was concerned during the pandemic about the alarming rates at which black women and women of color were passing away at a time that is supposed to be joyous.
