Hi, I’m Emma, your local birth bestie and birth aficionado! I’m a DONA trained doula based out of Toronto, ON looking to support families throughout their birth journey. My goal is to provide amazing care to each client, tailored to their specific needs. Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about supporting families. Inspired by my childhood dreams of being a early childhood educator, an OBGYN and later a midwife, I have always felt a strong pull towards family care and birth work. In my community, I started by becoming the favourite neighborhood babysitter, then in University I became a loving part time nanny, then moved on to work as a manager of a children’s swim school for several years. Alongside my passion for birth support, I have a deep appreciation for art and creativity. I spent three years working at an art gallery and went on to get my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting. Even then, my dream of caring for families never left me, with my passions leading me to run impromptu prenatal education sessions during lunch breaks at work. In May of 2024 I made the exciting decision to take a step back from my art career and focus full time on becoming a doula. Now, I am dedicated to being the best “birth bestie” I can be for my clients by proving them with compassionate care, encouragement, and unwavering support every step of the way.

Words can’t fully express how grateful we are to have had Doris as our birth doula. From the very beginning, she brought such a calming, grounded, and nurturing energy into our journey. She took the time to truly get to know us—our fears, hopes, and birth preferences—and made us feel completely supported and empowered every step of the way. During labor, Doris was an absolute rock. She created a peaceful environment, gently guided me through each contraction, and helped my partner feel confident and involved. Her presence was intuitive and comforting—knowing just when to offer words of encouragement, grounding touch, or simply hold space. She honored our birth plan while remaining flexible and wise when things needed to shift. What stood out most was how she held space not just for the physical birth, but for the emotional and spiritual process too. Her care felt ancestral, like something deep and sacred was being honored. Postpartum, she checked in with such genuine care, offering wisdom, warmth, and reassurance when we needed it most. If you’re looking for a doula who is deeply attuned, knowledgeable, and truly walks beside you in love and respect—Doris is it. She made our birth experience not only beautiful, but transformational

Jen was our doula for the birth of our first child in April 2026. We had a wonderful experience with her throughout. She has a very relaxed, reassuring energy. Mama Bear is the perfect way to describe her vibe! Our first 2 meetings were great and she had information about everything we asked (and more!) She also sent follow up emails with lots of resources for us to look through after our initial sessions. In the final weeks leading up to the birth, she was very communicative and checked in frequently. She was very reassuring when I was having concerns and fears, and she really helped me to manage the anxiety I was feeling about childbirth. Jen also helped walk us through making an informed consent document (birth plan), but also supported us when we decided on something different in the moment while I was in labour. During early labour, she came to our home and helped support both my husband and I with various positions, counter pressure, pain management, and decision making. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped us settle in, and came back after I had rested for several hours. She arrived before the birth and was a strong advocate for me with the midwives and hospital staff, and it took a lot of pressure off of my husband (who was already doing so much to help). It was so helpful to have someone who was familiar with the birthing process and hospital by our side for support. Jen's postpartum visit was so lovely! Seeing her again in a relaxed way after such intensity was really special. She held the baby and gave us some tips and advice on what to expect in the coming weeks. I expect we will ask her for some extra post-partum visits once my husband is back at work. What an amazing woman to have involved with our baby's life. We are so lucky to have found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for doula support. Thank you, Jen!

Hi everyone! My name is Rhiannon and I have been a doula since 2019. I am a birth and postpartum doula, with additional knowledge in conception, fertility, and loss.

I cannot recommend Rhiannon and her doula services enough! During my consultation, Rhiannon made me feel so comfortable, calm, and peaceful about the birthing process. She is such a smart, loving, and down-to earth person to have in your corner! I was so nervous about labor and delivery (and everything else that comes after!) But Rhiannon helped me with a birthing plan, (and postpartum plan) gave me GREAT TIPS, and most importantly, listened without judging me, my choices, or my many fears (no matter how small!) When pregnant, EVERYONE gives you advice, but Rhiannon really listens to what YOU want, and helps you to achieve that goal. I also utilized her postpartum services too, as I was very nervous about breastfeeding/pumping. She came to the hospital and gently explained how the pump worked (my little one was in the NICU) and sat with me as I went through that first time pumping. As she sat with me, we had such a wonderful conversation. She makes sure to focus on the Mama! Naturally most people are interested in the baby (and she was WONDERFUL with my little girl too) but she helped me feel like everything I was going through, and feeling was SO normal, especially when my hormones were making my emotions go up and down. It felt like having both a counselor, and a best friend by my side, at the same time. You will not regret using Rhiannon as your Doula! She will care for you, advocate for you, and most importantly, help you feel happy and calm about bringing your little bundle into the world!
