I'm Lauren, a birth doula and photographer based in Milwaukie, Oregon, just outside of Portland. I grew up in Delaware, but have lived on the West Coast since 2017. I am a mom to one child, two dogs, and a cat. I love reading, getting outside, and exploring new cities. I love trying out new hobbies: currently, I'm learning how to crochet! I trained through Doula Love Portland's DONA International and OHA Approved program. My practice is trauma-informed, inclusive, and evidence-based. I honor all paths to parenthood and believe that every person deserves compassionate, culturally responsive care during their most vulnerable moments. I believe birth is not just a beginning. It is a continuation of a lineage - of wisdom, of strength, of becoming. I am here to hold space for you to make your own choices while feeling supported, safe, and seen.

As a first time mom, I was searching for someone who could be an advocate for my husband and I. Someone who could guide us through the birthing process and the many decisions that came with it in a moment of high emotion. Lauren was the calming and sound voice of reason and compassion that we needed. In the prenatal period she patiently answered all my questions, and even sent me literature on things we discussed for further research. Together, we built my ideal birth plan, and she created an easy to follow worksheet that I could reference and bring with me to the hospital. When the time finally came, and the birth plan completely derailed, Lauren remained calm and was there every step of the way. During an extremely long and exhausting labor process, Lauren was there providing support through suggestions, positioning, counter pressure, etc. And with every change in the birth plan and decision that came along the way, Lauren helped us understand our options and gave me peace of mind that every decision made was founded in fact and not emotion. From an emotional standpoint, Lauren also kept reminding me that I was one step closer to meeting my baby. This also helped calm my anxious mind as things progressed. After an unexpected C-section, we finally held our baby, and though things did not go as planned, we took solace in knowing that we made the best choices for our family. I cannot thank Lauren enough for the support she provided, and can't imagine how my husband and I would have dealt with the situation without her. If you are a first time mom, or even a second or third, I highly recommend her and her doula services!

With dedication and gratitude, Sage supports growing families as a birth, postpartum, and sibling support doula. She has a calming, lighthearted, and nurturing presence and loves working with parents, both new and experienced. Every family's goals and preferences are unique and Sage offers non-judgemental care that respects what is important to them through each peak and valley of their experience. She is passionate about empowerment, bodily autonomy, and evidence-based information for every pregnant person. Her toolkit for birth includes: position suggestions, guidance towards understanding birth interventions, warm encouragement, and facilitation of an oxytocin abundant environment. Sage feels called to this work as a natural-born caregiver who has loved working with babies from a young age. As she grew up, Sage discovered her passion for supporting not just babies, but the whole family as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. She has spent the last 10 years working with infants and toddlers as a professional nanny, which has given her a talent for thinking on her feet and attuning to the needs of others. Sage is a proud Oregonian and was born and raised in Portland! She is an inquisitive life-long learner, crafting enthusiast, and enjoys being out in nature whenever she can. Though she treasures work with all kinds of people, Sage finds deep meaning in providing care to LGBTQIA2s+ families informed by her own queer lived experience. She is also enthusiastic about providing compassionate support for people of all sizes. As an animal lover, Sage has a special interest in guiding families as they prepare their furry kids to be good siblings to a new baby! When she is not caring for families she is spending her time cooking, baking, quilting, sewing, and enjoying Oregon’s stunning outdoors in a kayak.

Hi my name is Sarah Looking for Postpartum Doula clients to fill my schedule. I'm a postpartum doula, which means I support you through pregnancy and postpartum — but more than that, I’m the person who walks in and helps everything feel a little less overwhelming. Because this season? It’s a lot. There’s so much information, so many opinions, and somehow you’re expected to just know what to do. You don’t have to do that alone. I’m based in Portland and support families all across the Portland Metro area, and my goal is simple: to help you feel informed, grounded, and actually supported — not judged, not rushed, and not left guessing. Here’s how I support you: Talking through your options so you can make decisions that feel right for you Helping you prepare for birth — whether that’s medicated, unmedicated, planned, or unexpected Helping you understand your baby and what’s actually normal Giving you space to rest while I take care of baby overnight Supporting feeding in a way that feels good to you (breast, bottle, combo — no pressure) Light help around the house so you’re not carrying everything. Being someone you can ask anything… without feeling judged. I am infant CPR certified as well as being a certified postpartum doula looking for full time work. My schedule is completely open right now but it will fill up fast. If you're pregnant and are interested in overnight postpartum care please call, email or text me. My phone number is (503)313-1034 Email: storksnestdoulaservices@gmail.com Website is Storksnesrdoulaservices.net My nightly rates are $30-50/hr dependent on your needs and packages chosen. I offer 8-10hr night shifts 4-5 nights a week. I accept cash app, venmo and Facebook pay for the time being I have references upon request as well. I look forward to talking to you and assisting you and your family during this exciting time. Sarah.

As a holistic birth and postpartum doula, I offer grounded, intuitive support, empowering and nurturing new and growing families through the transformative portal of birth. My approach to care is informed by my deep studies of physiologic birth, herbalism and a decade working in childcare, the arts, journalism and food and retail. In our work together, we will be tuning to the cues from the body and centering nourishment, emotional wellbeing and connection to our natural rhythms. Together we'll take each moment as it arrives, looking to make the most out of all the tools available to help you move through each threshold in the way that is most true to your inner knowing. Rooted in the wisdom of Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine, the postpartum care I offer provides deep nourishment and helps to cultivate warmth, ease and restorative rest and connection. My hope is that this support helps to nourish families and communities so that we might reclaim the ceremony of birth in all of its forms and create a new collective future of autonomy, connection and wholeness. When not with families, you can find me likely making something with my hands, either in the garden, knitting, at home in my kitchen, or crafting some herbal concoction. I treasure my time spent near water, at the river, or on the coast in Northern California or my native New England.

Emma brings a kind and warm presence to her work as a doula. Our family loved having her care for us all during our postpartum period. She kept me well stocked with herbal teas, sitz baths, and dropped by nourishing food. She was able to help wherever we needed and often without me even having to ask- like doing laundry and folding my, and my kids clothes/finding where they all go without me saying anything (I found this truly magical!). Emma was also so great with my older kiddo (3) , our new baby, and our dog. She always came to our home prepared with rituals to nourish and ground us. Thank you Emma! <3
