I am a seasoned newborn and infant caregiver with an M.S. in Speech Pathology! This gives me a unique perspective when it comes to assistance with bottle feeds and awareness of nursing abilities. As a newborn nanny, I assist the newborn to ensure feeding progresses in a positive direction, making adjustments according to the changing needs and temperament of the newborn. I have assisted in raising both both niece and nephew from their first days of life through every stage of infant development. I always make sure my little ones needs are met, prioritizing safety, comfort and well being! I also intend to incorporate activities that highlight milestones, for example tummy time, encouraging babbling and providing feedback. I love little ones and they love me!

As a birth doula, social worker, and proud parent parent of two incredible daughters, my journey into birth work is deeply personal and rooted in both lived experience and professional purpose. I know what it feels like to navigate pregnancy with support and I know what it feels like to do don't alone. Those contrasting experiences shaped my passion for showing up fully for others during one of life's most powerful and vulnerable transitions. Whether you're surrounded by loved ones or navigating this journey solo, my role is to ensure you feel empowered, informed and never alone. My philosophy centers on honoring your voice, your choices, and your unique story. With a background in trauma-informed care, mental health, and community advocacy, I bring a holistic and affirming approach to support your physical, emotional, and informational needs. I believe birth is not just a medical event, it's a sacred transformation. I meet each family with compassion, cultural respect, and evidence-based support, and I strive to hold space for healing, joy, and agency. You deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated throughout your birth journey and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Greetings! I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself and share some facts about the role of a "Doula" or a "Birth Companion". First of all, you can call me Doula Komla (aka, Tabetha Cunningham). I have approximately 33 years of experience in the Human Services field, but in May of 2021 I answered the call to become a Certified Wholistic Birth Doula. I had the awesome pleasure of studying under Mama Mawusi Ashshakir, founder of The Mothership. What is a doula, you may ask. A doula is a trained companion who supports women through pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage, lactation and other postpartum events. This is a huge undertaking for me but I am so excited to share what I've learned and to support women through the birthing process. I am currently offering my services at discounted rates and for a short amount of time I will tailor services to meet your budget. If you have questions or want to learn more about what I do, please contact me! Let's birth some babies!! KOMLA

Hi! I’m Joy, a registered nurse turned doula with a deep passion for family, holistic wellness, and empowering women to make confident, informed choices throughout their birth journeys. My background in nursing gives me a strong foundation in evidence-based care, while my heart is rooted in nurturing, education, and emotional support. After years in nursing, I felt called to follow my deeper passion: walking alongside women as they bring new life into the world. I believe birth is a natural and sacred experience, one that unfolds best when women are trusted, respected, and supported. My approach blends medical knowledge with a holistic perspective, honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. It’s my greatest joy to help each woman feel seen, cared for, and empowered to make the choices that best serve her family and body. I’d be honored to be part of your story.

Hello friends!! I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is Kendall Francis. I am a christian certified birth doula. I serve mama’s in the Fort Mill and Charlotte surrounding areas during pregnancy and postpartum. I am married to my best friend, Collin Francis and we just had the most perfect baby girl, Saylor Grace Francis, born at home on July 31st, 2022. Our hearts are so full! I became a doula because I am so passionate about everything pregnancy and birth but most importantly because I believe women and their families need such a strong support system during this season in their life. I worked in the hospital system for almost 4 years on several different units from ER to maternity, went to nursing school and got my LPN degree all to realize I wanted nothing more than to support women holistically. I believe with all my heart that it is OUR decision as women how our pregnancy journey should turn out and WE have the control, not our providers. That is where I come in as your doula to help educate and advocate for you every step of the way no matter what you decide for your birth. Whether that be at home, at a birthing center or a hospital, I will be by your side. If you would like to connect and talk more about your dream birth feel free to send me a message! I am so excited to meet you and your family!

Kendall is truly one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. From the moment I met her I knew I wanted her as my doula. She made me feel loved, comforted, cared for, amongst so many other things. For my birth, she came as soon as I felt I needed support and stayed through the postpartum period, over 24 hours. She didn’t even talk about leaving me during this time and stayed through it ALL. She supported every decision I made, encouraged me to make position changes to help progress my labor, prayed over me, held a fan to my face for HOURS, spoke kindly and softly and was just everything I needed. She started as my doula and I now consider her one of my closest friends. I love her so much. She’s truly made for this!

Hi, I’m Julie. I’m so glad you’re here! My passion for birth and motherhood started at a young age. All I ever wanted to be was a mom. After I had my fifth baby I felt sad realizing that this part of my life was over. I soon discovered that my calling to serve mamas as a birth doula however was just beginning. My hubby has been there beside me through it all as our children have been born naturally in both hospital and home settings. I use that firsthand knowledge now to serve you with not just my rigorous training and certification through Birth Arts International, but also through my own personal experience. I was introduced to essential oils in 2014, and every day since then has been a family journey to more natural patterns of health and wellness. I have seen and experienced success time after time using the oils throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and with a newborn. I feel confident in my ability to protect my family’s health no matter what is going on around us, and that’s something I enjoy paying forward to other moms and families.
