My name is D’Starr, and I have over 15 years of experience supporting birthing people and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with calm, informed, and compassionate care. I serve my community as a birth and postpartum doula, a trained monitrice providing limited clinical support, and a maternity self-care specialist. My work is rooted in evidence-based practice, cultural awareness, and deep respect for physiologic birth and family autonomy. In addition to my doula practice, I have completed my formal midwifery education and continue to work within a home birth midwifery practice while preparing for the national midwife certification examination through the National Association of Registered Midwives. This allows me to offer families strong clinical insight alongside continuous emotional and practical support. I am especially passionate about supporting families who desire informed, empowered births and attentive postpartum care.
