Chipo was our night doula when we had our little one. She helped me navigate everything from holding the baby, to latching. Baby L is my first. She is deeply knowledgeable and her decade of experience showed. My husband and I were uneasy about bringing someone in the home at first, but having Chipo and the way she cared for us, really changed our minds. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Emelia Uwadia

Oshawa, Ontario

Emelia Uwadia

2 years of experience

Hi, I’m Emelia. It’s nice to meet you. I’m a birth professional based in Oshawa, ON, with a passion for supporting the whole person and their family through every part of the perinatal journey: emotionally, physically, and mentally. I’m currently certifying as a birth and postpartum doula with DONA International, a fertility doula through Doula School Canada, and a childbirth educator with CAPPA. This allows me to walk with clients through each chapter of their experience in a deeply personal and connected way. My work is grounded in the belief that this season of life deserves care that sees and supports the whole of who you are. Whether you’re preparing for birth, exploring fertility, or finding your rhythm in postpartum, I’m here to offer presence, warmth, and evidence-based support that meets you where you are. I know this time can feel like wandering into a forest without a map, full of beauty but also uncertainty. My hope is that when we work together, you feel safe to pause, to breathe, and to know you’re not alone. I’m here to hold space, to really listen, and to offer tools and guidance to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to feel supported. I see you, and I’m honored to walk alongside you like a steady companion on the path, here to remind you of your own strength and inner wisdom. Welcome to the Fabled Family. I’m so glad you’re here.

Natasa Oliveira

Natasa Oliveira

17 years of experience

Hi, I’m Natasa. I’m a PNSW and postpartum doula with over 17 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum, newborn care, and all the real-life things that happen once a baby comes home. My approach is calm, practical, and very much based on what your family actually needs that day. Some days that means caring for baby so you can rest, shower, eat, or just have a minute to yourself. Other days it may mean helping with feeding routines, diapering, soothing, naps, baby laundry, bottles, or resetting the baby areas so the day feels a little less chaotic. I’m not there to judge your home, tell you you’re doing it wrong, or make postpartum feel like another thing you have to manage perfectly. I’m there to step in, support you, and help make the day feel more manageable. A big part of how I support families is by noticing where things are getting stuck and helping create simple routines or systems that make sense for your home. Nothing fancy. Nothing overcomplicated. Just practical support that helps your household run a little smoother while everyone is adjusting. Postpartum can feel like a lot, especially when you’re tired, healing, feeding, learning your baby, and trying to keep the house from staging a small rebellion. My goal is to be another capable, calm person in the room so you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Recent review

Natasa helped turn one of the most overwhelming times in our lives into one of the most memorable. We felt supported, gained confidence as parents, and finally had the reassurance that we were doing okay.

Couldn’t be more grateful for the support from Elizabeth & Amy! I hired them as my doula team and it was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth experience. We had 2 prenatal visits and 1 postpartum visit, and they answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. As a first-time mom who had an OB, I felt strongly pulled to hire them for extra support - and I’m so thankful I followed that instinct. Thanks to Elizabeth, I had an unmedicated birth. She believed in me when I needed it most and guided me through every contraction with so much calm and confidence. I delivered a healthy baby girl (6 lbs 9 oz), and I will always be grateful for the role she played in one of the most important days of my life. They offer 24/7 WhatsApp support - even months after birth - which made my partner and I feel supported and never alone during early parenthood. They are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, relatable, and genuinely wonderful people. Amy is also super tech-savvy, so everything felt organized and seamless from start to finish. I truly felt cared for as a new mom. I would highly, highly recommend them. The whole experience was amazing!

Nijah Smith

Brampton, Ontario

5.0 (1 review)

Nijah Smith

Nijah is an artist and postpartum doula that was drawn to the world of birthwork due to her natural ability to nurture and connect with young children and their caregivers. Nijah began formally working with families as a STEAM educator for kids 10 years and under, and is a skilled teacher and tutor whose educational and lived experiences cultivated a compassionate and pragmatic approach to supporting families. She has a deep, personal understanding of the challenges that come with raising a child in challenging environments and an expansive background working with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, allowing her to be mindful of a client’s cultural or social values and potential barriers in accessing care. With this, her hands-on, intuitive approach to her work can fill the gaps to create a holistic care plan that is all-encompassing but flexible to accommodate a family’s changing needs.

Recent review

Nijah Smith was a great doula during my postpartum experience. What stood out the most was how naturally connected she was with my baby girl. She instantly analyzed what she needed, and responded with such calm confidence. Nijah assisted greatly with household tasks, helping me latch, and helping her settle. Because she was so attentive, observant, and proactive with the baby, I actually got to rest—and real rest. I felt safe enough to sleep because I knew my daughter was in good hands. I’m deeply grateful for her, and I would recommend her to any parent who wants someone alert ,gentle, and proactive to support their family.

I specialize in lactation and breastfeeding support, offering compassionate, evidence-based care to help families feel confident and supported throughout their journey into parenthood. My approach is rooted in the belief that there is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to birth, feeding, or postpartum care. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating early feeding, or adjusting to life with a newborn, I’m here to walk alongside you with patience, warmth, and encouragement. Beyond my work as a doula, I’m a proud mother to my 8-year-old daughter, who continues to inspire my passion for supporting other families. In my free time, I enjoy expressing creativity through art and spending time gardening—both of which ground me and bring a sense of balance to the nurturing work I do. I’m honored to be part of such an important chapter in your life and look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

Ciera supported our family with postpartum doula services 5 days a week for just over 4 months following the birth of our daughter, and what a difference she made. She is professional, dependable and quickly became well integrated within the household (our older children were always excited to see her!). She has such a way with babies, our daughter very quickly developed into a sound overnight sleeper. We were also grateful that she worked with us to ensure we could be reimbursed through Carrot insurance. I would recommend Ciera to any expecting parent who is looking for calm guidance, professional support and loving care for their newborns.

You're welcome to book a time in my calendar (https://calendly.com/marjwong/30-45min), I'd love to connect OR send a DM on IG @marj.wong As a DONA certified doula, I believe it is within each birthing person’s innate wisdom and ability to give birth. As well, birth should be an empowering experience. Throughout both of my own pregnancies, I practiced prenatal yoga, and I attribute my own remarkable birth experiences to my yoga practice and the HypnoBirthing method. From motherhood, becoming a birth and postpartum doula was a natural progression for me and I quickly found myself fully immersed in supporting clients through pregnancy, labour and beyond. It is in this role where I feel my intuition, guidance, and personal experiences to be incredibly supportive and valuable. The maternal period can be challenging, but with the right support, I know it can also be an incredibly joyous and transformative time. I am a diaper-free, breastfeeding, and HypnoBirthing advocate. I've been trained in many comfort techniques and tend to keep my approach educational and informative.
