I have always thought that pregnancy and birth are the most incredible things in the world. While battling infertility the last few years, I found myself feeling a lack of purpose in my life. This led me to birth work and becoming a birth doula. From the fascinating training to the first birth I attended, I knew this was the purpose I was looking for. I became a Birth Boot Camp Certified Birth Doula in January 2024. I passionately believe that every mom can and deserves to have a positive birth experience, whatever that looks like to her. Talya is a midwife, herbalist, and doula with 18 years of experience in birthwork. She is a wife and mother of 6 and is the owner of an intentionally small midwifery practice. The belief that birth is a normal physiological event and that babies are wise and know how to be born guides her practice.
