Jessica Breiter

Yorba Linda, California 13 years of experience

Jessica Breiter

Ever since Jessica can remember, she has followed her calling to care for others. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse, and she has never deviated from that path. When she was able to formally follow her passion, she volunteered at CHOC hospital while in high school to care for sick infants. Jessica was accepted into the rigorous five- year nursing program at San Francisco State University, and was one of the 50% of remaining nursing students that successfully earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and passed her Board Exams to be licensed as a registered nurse. While enrolled in her rigorous courses at SFSU, she also became certified as a doula and donated her time to work with low- income families and assist women in the prison population at their births. Jessica’s experience during clinicals at different hospitals in the Bay Area made her question some of the traditional protocols that hospitals use, such as intervention in all births, even those that are at low risk. She began to explore other options, and was hired as an intern at The Sanctuary and Birth Center in Los Angeles. After graduating from SFSU. Jessica sought a practical balance and applied to and was accepted into the Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery where she learned and practiced a holistic approach to childbirth. During this 2 ½ year program, she was on call 24/7 for births, prenatal, and postpartum visits that were sandwiched in between her coursework. Jessica graduated, passed her Board Exams, and is a CPM-LM- Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife. Jessica has participated in more than 145 home births, and over 200 hospital births; she is well acquainted with the protocols of both. Jessica believes that in order to be the best midwife for her clients, she must be as educated and knowledgeable as possible, which led Jessica to complete courses in the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Midwifery program at Georgetown University. Jessica continues to further her education by staying up to date on advances in the health care field, and continue her studies at Frontier Nursing University. Jessica has officially graduated with a Master's of Science in Nursing with honors. Jessica’s ultimate goal is to combine the benefits of both western and eastern medical practices to her patients. As of yet, there isn't any other licensed midwife that has the breadth and depth of education that Jessica has achieved. Jessica believes in including the patient as part of the decision-making process. Jessica’s philosophy is that a woman should learn to trust her body and allow nature to take its course in a holistic manner when she is low risk and healthy—intervention is not always the solution. Jessica will be the strongest and most ardent advocate for mom and baby. Mom must also be educated and informed, and thus, she has responsibilities too, in order to create the most beautiful and awe-inspiring journey that the miracle of life has to offer. Working with Jessica to assist you in your home birth or water birth, you will never be disappointed. Jessica services the Orange County and Los Angeles County for home births, vbac, and water births as a midwife.

With years of experience as a midwife and birth professional, I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a holistic, grounded approach that honors both physiology and personal choice. Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, birth center delivery, medicated or unmedicated experience, my role is to help you feel fully prepared — physically, emotionally, and mentally — for the birth you desire. My pregnancy bodywork sessions are designed to support optimal fetal positioning, pelvic balance, and nervous system regulation. When the body is aligned and tension patterns are released, babies can settle into ideal positions and labor often unfolds more smoothly. A regulated nervous system allows you to feel safer, more present, and more empowered — which can significantly impact both birth and postpartum recovery. In addition to hands-on bodywork, I offer comprehensive childbirth education that prepares you for the realities of labor, informed decision-making, partner support, and postpartum recovery. My goal is not to push a specific birth path, but to equip you with knowledge, confidence, and tools so you can navigate your experience feeling supported and in control. I bring both clinical insight and steady presence. I understand the nuances of hospital systems and home birth environments, and I help families advocate for themselves while staying connected to their intuition. Birth is a rite of passage — and preparation matters. When your body is balanced, your nervous system is regulated, and your mind is informed, you enter birth grounded and ready. It is an honor to walk alongside families as they prepare to welcome their babies and step into parenthood with confidence.

Ashley McIntosh

I am Ashley and I am a certified doula and Certified Professional Midwife. As a doula my main goal with all of my clients is to better educate you on your pregnancy on not only childbirth but the the physiological changes of pregnancy, movements, food, and exercises that heal the common discomforts brought about by those changes. My goal is to help you be your best self in pregnancy so when labor comes you feel confident and strong in the body the brings you your baby and continues to take care of you after that baby grows for the next 18 years.

Ashley is incredible! She is kind, nurturing, calm, and beyond supportive. I can't even imagine going through my second pregnancy and delivery without her. She made me feel so supported throughout the entire process, especially towards the end as I passed my due date and felt a lot of anxiety due to my 1st pregnancy trauma. Having Ashley be a part of my journey for my 2nd baby was the best decision I made, and I wish I would have known her during my first! During labor and delivery, she brought me so much comfort and confidence knowing she was there every step of the way and helped support me in decisions when things didn't go to plan. Even with a very tough labor and delivery, she made the experience positive and I am beyond grateful she was there. Without her, it would have not been a good experience based on my experience with the doctors and nurses at the hospital. She is an incredible person and professional, and I couldn't recommend her enough!!

I provide calm, hands-on care tailored to each family’s culture, preferences, and individual needs. Rather than taking over, I work alongside parents, helping them build confidence in caring for their newborn while ensuring they have time to rest, recover, and feel supported. As a DONA-certified postpartum doula and certified breastfeeding specialist with a background in midwifery and a PhD in Community Nutrition, I combine practical experience with evidence-based guidance. Let me just say—it was truly a blessing to have found Reihaneh (Rey) Hadipour to support us on our newborn journey. From day one, she was an incredible help, especially for a first-time mom. Whether it was guiding us through different feeding positions, showing us how to bathe the baby, gently clipping those delicate little nails, or offering countless other thoughtful services, Rey brought both care and confidence to every moment. She comes with a wealth of experience and is truly a compassionate, skilled professional. We’re so grateful for her support during such a special and tender time in our lives

We immediately knew Eldrid was our doula after our first chat. She is warm, reassuring, and so well informed. Her “come as you are” approach and deep knowledge calmed our anxieties about our high risk pregnancy and delivery. Throughout the pregnancy, she gave us evidence-based resources and information without influence or judgment. She taught us how to advocate for our needs with our many medical specialists. When we had to do a last-minute induction, she was at the hospital when we checked in to prepare the room. She warmly opened up a dialogue with us and the nurses about our needs as we progressed through labor. She had many physical and emotional tools to carry us through each contraction, all while ensuring nurses were giving us space to labor as we wanted to. She was a firm, clear, and kind advocate for our birth plan. Eldrid remained at the hospital with us for 24 hours up until the baby came and only left once we were settled into our postpartum room. As our postpartum doula, she continued to teach us new things and empowered us as new parents. She also makes the best soups and other recovery foods! Our family is very grateful for everything she’s done for us, and we rexommend her for anyone having their first baby.

Hi, I’m Maia! I’m a Los Angeles based certified and dedicated birth and postpartum doula, committed to empowering families through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. I began my journey with a strong desire to help women from all walks of life. This passion gradually evolved into a keen interest in pregnancy and childbirth, sparking my aspiration to become a midwife. While currently pursuing my degree, I realized I couldn't wait any longer to start supporting women during their pregnancies. Alongside my passion, I bring qualities like willingness, compassion, empathy, dedication, patience, understanding, and adaptability that I believe are crucial for helping women. So, I took action and became a certified birth doula. Now, here we are—you're looking for a doula, and I'm hoping we can work together and share the incredible journey to parenthood. I believe pregnancy and childbirth are the most precious gifts and miracles entrusted to women. It's an intimate and emotional ceremony that will forever be the most unforgettable and transformative experiences in your life. Together, we'll listen to your body, your desires, and your feelings, allowing them to guide us through the ups and downs of pregnancy and childbirth. What feels right for you is the right path for your journey. Together, we'll overcome any obstacles that arise and make informative decisions that align with your vision for your birth.
