Before becoming a doula, I worked as a graphic designer, elder care provider, and nanny. Some years back I decided to become a postpartum doula. I spent most of my young life in Guangzhou, China where my family cared for orphaned newborns. After high school I found a maternity clinic in the Philippines offering midwifery training and began my journey there. After completing an accelerated program, I moved to California and became licensed with the Medical Board of CA.
