The cost of a midwife in Yuma, AZ can be influenced by several factors:

  • Type of Midwife

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) who work in hospital settings may have different pricing than Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) who attend home births or birth center deliveries.

  • Birth Setting

Hospital births with a midwife typically cost less out-of-pocket when covered by insurance, while home births and birth center deliveries may have different fee structures.

  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

  • Insurance Coverage

Whether insurance covers the cost of a midwife in Yuma, AZ, depends on your specific insurance plan and provider. Many insurance plans, including Medicaid, may cover midwifery services if the midwife is licensed and in-network with your insurance. The coverage might also depend on whether the care is provided in a hospital, birthing center, or at home. It’s important to check with your insurance company directly to confirm coverage details, including co-pays, deductibles, or any limitations that may apply to midwifery services in your area.

  • Experience and Specialization

Midwives with extensive experience, additional certifications, or specializations such as VBAC support or water birth may charge higher rates.

  • Geographic Location

Midwifery costs can vary based on the cost of living and demand for midwifery services in your specific area.

When considering hiring a midwife in Yuma, AZ, it's advisable to research and interview several midwives to find one who aligns with your birth plan, preferences, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services, insurance acceptance, and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs.

I’m Paty, a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, proudly serving families across the Phoenix area and West Valley — including Goodyear, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, Avondale, Glendale, Surprise, Peoria, and Tolleson. As a bilingual (English–Spanish) doula with a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, I bring both heart and knowledge into my care. My background allows me to support families not just physically, but emotionally and educationally — helping them feel calm, confident, empowered and deeply connected throughout their journey. Since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamed of working in maternal health care. Becoming a doula is truly the fulfillment of that dream — a calling that lets me serve families during one of life’s most transformative seasons. As a mother of four, including two children I birthed myself, I understand the beauty, vulnerability, and sacredness of giving birth. My mission is to walk beside you — to remind you that you are capable, strong, and deserving of care, respect, and love. At Madre Moon Doula, I honor the mind, body, and spirit of every birthing person. Together, we’ll embrace the sacredness of bringing new life into the world — one birth, one heartbeat, and one moon phase at a time. 🌕

Over the years, I’ve worked with countless clients, helping them feel empowered and informed every step of the way. My goal is to create a space where you feel confident, cared for, and deeply supported as you welcome your baby into the world. Hello! My name is Jessica—also known as Jess or Jessie—a birth doula proudly supporting families across Temecula and San Diego. My journey into birth work has been deeply personal, as I became a mother at seventeen and just recently welcomed a new baby to my family last summer. Born and raised in southern Illinois and married to my wife who grew up in Israel, I blend Midwestern warmth with global perspective in every birth I attend. Having experienced motherhood as a teenager and supporting my wife through her cesarean journey, I understand firsthand the many ways birth can unfold. My mission is to empower and uplift women of all ages—whether they choose home birth, a birth center, or a hospital setting—and to honor every birth story with compassion, respect, and celebration. I’d be honored to support you on yours.

Jessica was a major reason why I was ultimately able to accomplish my goal of an unmedicated birth with my first baby! Her pre-birth sessions really helped prepare us for what to expect at the hospital and the birth plan she made for us helped keep the medical staff aligned with our goals. In the delivery room, no offense to my husband who was great too, but it was so valuable to have her by my side during labor especially when the nurses weren’t in the room. She kept me confident in achieving my goal even when I thought about asking for medication. She has visited several times after birth and has been so generous with her time, expertise, and even amazing cooking! We still keep in touch to this day. I highly recommend working with her!

Hi, I'm Aly! I am a Labor & Postpartum Doula, Yoga Instructor, and hold my Masters degree in Social Justice. I am a nurturer and advocate! Clients have described me as empathetic, calm, appropriately humorous, knowledgeable, and unafraid to speak up to ensure that both the birthing person and baby are safe and comfortable. I strive to make every environment as empowering, warm, and equitable as possible. I am passionate about being a mama & partner, running, cooking, hiking my way through National Parks, finding the best lavender latte in town, and most of all, building meaningful relationships with others. I will nurture you, empower you, keep you well-fed and rested, and support your choices and questions as you prepare to welcome this new life. When your baby is born, you are also born as a parent. I’m here to hold you through that amazing (and sometimes overwhelming) shift in identity. Let’s connect!

Aly was amazing and super easy to work with. She communicated quickly and answered all my questions during our consultation. I did my placenta encapsulation with her and she was on top of it as soon as we let her know I was in labor. She dropped off my pills and even included a little extra treat for us. Definitely recommend her services. On top of it all, she’s been super sweet and has checked up on me ppt. Thanks Aly!!
