Becoming a lactation consultant has been a deeply personal journey for me. I began a clinical internship in 2022 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah, where I worked until 2024 in the mother-baby unit, NICU, and pediatric settings. I've experienced nearly every positive aspect of lactation, as well as its many challenges.
