Hi, I’m Katie—an IBCLC dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey. These experiences deepen my understanding that every family’s path is different, and every goal is valid. I truly love being welcomed into people’s homes and consider the postpartum period a sacred space. My approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting families exactly where they are—whether they’re navigating challenges, exploring their feeding options, or simply seeking reassurance. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snowboarding, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my little crew, hopefully outside, having an adventure!

Recent review

I am so glad that I found Katie! My partner and I initially hired her as a doula for the birth of our first baby, and while the birth did not go how we hoped (instead of a full term vaginal birth, she came a month early and was delivered via C-section), Katie was so helpful and supportive leading up to the birth, and came to the hospital to support us immediately after delivery as well, which helped immensely in feeling calmer during such a shocking experience. I had many challenges with breastfeeding, due to the pre-term birth, C-section delivery, and a tongue tie, so I decided to work with Katie as a lactation consultant postpartum as well. I am now at 6 months of breastfeeding and I honestly don't know if I would have made it this far without Katie's support. In addition to coming over for weighted feeds and help with positions and advice on topics ranging from breastfeeding in public to baby-wearing, Katie was always available to provide support when I was having breastfeeding-related meltdowns. She is so warm and understanding, always providing validation, gentle suggestions, and working with me in my specific circumstances to figure out how to balance my needs in the moment with my long-term breastfeeding goals. I'm so grateful to Katie and cannot recommend her enough!

I am Karee' (car)REE, ya' homegirl who just so happens to be, a full spectrum doula, energy healer, Level II Reiki Practitioner, and Womb Wellness practitioner. Also known as The Original Coochie Gangster of The OCG Collective. I've been blessed to do the work of the women—whether that's helping a woman reconnect to her womb through ceremony, supporting a mother and family through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, termination, and/or the grand transition we know as death. My mission is to hold a sacred space where I can support and empower individuals through the divinely guided transitions they choose to share with me.

Recent review

Karee is the kind of doula who will go the extra mile to support you. I found her just two weeks before I gave birth, and she immediately made sure everything was ready for a safe and positive birth experience. Karee provided gentle, skilled massages before, during, and after birth, which made a world of difference in my comfort and recovery. She also included yoni steaming at no extra cost, such a generous and nurturing touch. I felt supported physically, mentally and emotionally by her. Leading up to birth, she helped me feel prepared and confident. During labor, she stayed right by my side, encouraging me and ensuring I was coping well. Karee held space for all of it, the pain, the overwhelming changes, and the flood of feelings that come with becoming a mother. She truly recognized what I was going through and provide words of wisdom. I have said enough so Karee is the one.

Hello! My name is Laura Rayford and I am a DONA certified birth doula in the Bay Area. I am passionate about guiding birthing people with nurturing and empowering support; working together towards your ideal birthing experience. I have completed two birth doula trainings. One through Hospital Friendly Doulas (which has allowed me to work as a volunteer doula at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, CA) and the other with Sierra Birth Institute (a training approved by DONA). Both provided me with invaluable information and numerous tools which allow me to confidently support birthing people and their families.Prior to working as a doula, I worked as a nanny for 15+ years. I have always been drawn to working closely with families and giving children the best possible care. For me, this naturally led me to doula work, helping new little people be brought into the world by their capable, brave and extraordinary birthing parent. I am excited and passionate about this work and deeply appreciate your considering inviting me into such a personal and powerful chapter of your life.

Recent review

Laura was an outstanding doula both during the prepartum phase and the delivery. She was very responsive and attentive to our needs. She has shown extreme dedication and passion for the process of delivery, and has provided useful education, all the way through birth. We are so thankful she was there to help us, and has made our delivery as stress free as possible.

Hi, I’m Mitzi — a Denver-based postpartum doula and wellness practitioner providing gentle, holistic daytime care rooted in tradition, compassion, and practical support. As a mother watching my own two sons grow, I know how fast and precious the early days are, and how much care parents need during this transformation. I specialize in traditional Mexican postpartum practices designed to restore warmth, energy, and strength after birth. My goal is to honor your physical healing, create a peaceful home environment, and help you feel confident throughout the fourth trimester. I take an intuitive, proactive approach so you never have to manage me or hand over a to-do list. I step in where support is needed most—whether that’s tending to your baby so you can get uninterrupted rest, preparing a nourishing meal, or tidying up. Whether you need hands-on infant care, light household support, or traditional recovery rituals, I am here to ensure your entire family feels grounded, supported, and nurtured. Outside of supporting families, you’ll usually find me tending to my garden or reconnecting with my Hispanic roots, which deeply shapes how I care for others.

Recent review

Mitzi was a great support during my postpartum period. She provided helpful advice, guided me through recovery, and made me feel comfortable asking questions. The rebozo massages and cupping therapy she did were relaxing and really helped my body recover. She was professional, attentive, and caring, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares for both mother and baby. My little one loved her too, she handled him with such gentleness and warmth. I would definitely recommend Mitzi to any new mother looking for supportive, thoughtful, and skilled postpartum care.

Working with our Cass was hands-down the best decision we made for our birth journey. From our very first meeting, her calm, reassuring presence completely eased our anxieties and helped us feel empowered. During the most intense moments of labor, she was an incredible coach and a steady rock for both my husband and me. She advocated beautifully for our birth plan, ensuring our choices were respected by the medical staff while guiding us through positions, induction processes, and pain relief with so much knowledge and gentleness. We truly felt like we had an expert and a dear friend by our side the entire time. Making the investment to have supported Postpartum care, especially from an Ayurvedic perspective was not just exactly what I had wished for, but I cannot FATHOM a greater gift for the health of our newborn child. I felt like a peaceful, supported, and loved Momma through the whole process which truly allowed me to be the most present with our newborn. Emily is an actual angel on earth. I only wish that every single birthing person had this type of postpartum support. Our little one is now 5 months old and I believe WHOLE-HEARTEDLY that his gentle, calm, and happy disposition is a result of the care and safety that I felt postpartum which allowed me to be fully present with him. Emily worked diligently and silently doing all of the big and little things that afforded us as a new family the maximum amount of time together to just marinate in our little love bubble. I didn't have to think (EVER) about what I was going to eat, or if I had hydrated enough, about eating the right things etc. Not only was my belly nourished, but she helped with postpartum massage, belly wrapping, provided a listening ear, and left me with so many helpful herbs, tinctures, and magical Ayurvedic potions. I am forever grateful for my time spent with Emily who I am sure will now be a lifelong friend. Thank you Emily! Infinitely! Your gift is something undeniable. We are FOREVER grateful. Hi there! My name is Kayli Worthley. I am a Certified Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Breastfeeding Counselor. I believe birth is a sacred event that goes best when mothers feel safe, seen, and heard. I see my doula role as one of an educator, nurturer, and advocate. My goal is that you feel informed and confident to make your own decisions throughout the labor and birth process. After having a beautiful homebirth with my daughter, I have first hand experience of the joys and trials of childbirth. I believe that children are a blessing from God and that childbirth can bring you closer to the Lord. In my free time you'll find me singing along to worship music while making sourdough. I love going on walks with my husband and practicing hospitality.

Recent review

I’m beyond grateful for Kayli’s presence during the birth of our twin boys. Though this was my third pregnancy, Kayli renewed my sense of empowerment and knowledge about birth. She didn’t just bring experience but she brought a deep understanding of birth as part of God’s design. This encouraged me to trust my body’s ability and make choices rooted in faith. And by God’s grace, I was able to deliver our twins vaginally + unmedicated.  When doctors' demands created a sense of urgency around birth of our boys, Kayli coached me beforehand, giving me the confidence to pause, reflect and make intentional decisions.  During labor, Kayli and my husband worked in tandem for hours ensuring I was never without support. This constant teamwork and extra set of hands (!!) helped me through the toughest moments. Given the risks of twin deliveries, I was prepared for an OR birth. When we entered that bright, sterile room, fear took over. But in the brief moments between the births, Kayli ensured the doctors allowed me to hold my baby before he was taken away, offering me the strength to deliver our second just 14 minutes later. Her intuition in that moment was unforgettable.  Following births, when I faced mild hemorrhaging and my husband was with the babies in the NICU, Kayli stayed by my side during the overwhelming medical attention, she remained calm, and a steady source of comfort. What truly sets Kayli apart is her deep heart of service, empathy, and respect for mom and baby. She doesn’t just support the birth, she offers care through every step of the journey into motherhood. Her compassion shines in every interaction. If you’re seeking a doula, Kayli is the perfect choice. I’m forever grateful for her role in bringing our babies into the world and confident that she will offer the same extraordinary support to every family fortunate enough to have her by their side.

Hey there, I’m Carly, the heart and hands behind Sol Shine Doula Services. My path to birth work started with my own first birth experience—long, unsupported, and ending in a home birth transfer. I didn’t even know doulas existed then, but I know now how transformative the right support can be. Named after my first child’s middle name, Sol Shine was born from a deep desire to provide families with the warmth, knowledge, and care I once wished for. Now, I dedicate my work to ensuring no birthing person feels alone in their journey.

Recent review

We found Carly very last minute, and I was honestly on the fence about whether or not I wanted to hire a doula. But after meeting with her, we instantly felt comfortable and knew she was the right fit. She’s kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful in her approach. Carly took the time to ask important questions and was sensitive to both past trauma and my neurodivergence, which made me feel seen and supported right from the start. Having her available throughout the tail end of my pregnancy to answer questions was invaluable. I wish we would have found her sooner so I could have benefited from her support and guidance for more of my pregnancy. When it came time for the birth of our first child, I can’t imagine having done it without her. She helped create the calm, peaceful environment I had hoped for and supported both my husband and me as we navigated the hospital experience. During labor, she was there for my husband as much as she was for me—gently guiding him on how best to support me and offering him reassurance, too. Carly made the entire experience feel grounded, warm, and empowering. We’re so grateful we had her by our side.

Hi, I’m Liz Derry Cox, CPM, LM. I’ve been a nurse since 1997 and a licensed midwife and DONA trained doula since 2010, and it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk alongside women and families during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I believe pregnancy and birth are normal, healthy life events, and that women deserve care that is both evidence-based and deeply personal. Every family has a unique story, and I strive to make sure each client feels heard, respected, informed, and supported every step of the way. My approach combines the wisdom of midwifery with years of clinical experience. I take time to truly listen, answer questions thoroughly, and help families make informed decisions that align with their values. Whether you’re planning your first baby or have given birth before, my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that builds confidence rather than fear. I believe that when women are supported physically, emotionally, and educationally, they are more likely to experience a healthier pregnancy, a positive birth, and a smoother transition into parenthood. It is an honor to be trusted with such an important season of life, and I look forward to supporting your family on that journey. I intentionally limit the total number of families I serve each month across all of my services—including midwifery, doula support, and pregnancy coaching. This allows me to provide unhurried, relationship-based care, be readily available when questions arise, and truly get to know each family I have the privilege of serving. My goal is for you to never feel like just another client, but to feel known, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout your journey.

Liz was absolutely amazing as my midwife during the birth of my first child. Her calm presence and genuine care made the entire experience feel safe and supported. I’ve reached out to her many times since then for guidance on pregnancy, postpartum, nutrition, etc., and she always offers her wisdom with warmth and honesty. In this world where mothers often struggle to feel heard, she has created a special space of comfort, understanding, and compassion ❤️

Having Carson as my doula had a massively positive effect on my pregnancy and delivery experiences. She provided me with educational resources and was always available to answer my questions and to calm my fears. I started my pregnancy not having the confidence to give birth unmedicated, but she continually supported me and helped me realize that I could do it. She was instrumental in helping me have a positive labor and delivery experience. I felt more in control with her there, since I knew she would make sure my wishes were being followed even when I couldn’t speak for myself. She also checked in with me after I gave birth to see if I had any questions or needed any help navigating life as a new mom. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is pregnant. Carson is a truly gifted doula.

I'm committed to empowering you to advocate for yourself and your baby, encourage you to attain the birthing experience you want and be there every step of the way to empathize and validate your emotional journey.

Recent review

Discovering I was pregnant at the young age of 19 in January of 2023 was a daunting realization, as it wasn't part of my immediate plans. Uncertainty clouded my thoughts, but I knew I needed guidance regardless of the decision my partner and I made. That's when Jenn stepped in. From the onset of my pregnancy journey, Jenn provided unwavering support, extending beyond childbirth. She offered exceptional advice on nutrition, prepared me for the birthing process, and most importantly, empathized with my emotional journey, understanding my desires for both myself and my child. During labor, Jenn remained a constant presence, offering guidance through every step. From walking the hospital corridors to assisting with pain relief methods and ensuring optimal posture through breathing techniques. Her swift response to my hospital admission due to preeclampsia exemplified her dedication. After 11 hours of labor and 14 minutes of pushing, my beautiful daughter entered the world, and any apprehensions about being a young, first-time mother faded in that moment of pure connection. Jenn's reassuring words were a beacon of strength throughout, reminding me of my capabilities even in moments of doubt. Reflecting on my birthing experience, I am filled with gratitude for Jenn's support. I wholeheartedly endorse her as an exceptional doula, and I am grateful for the opportunity to relive that transformative journey in my mind because of her.
