The cost of a midwife in Chandler, AZ can be influenced by several factors:

  • Type of Midwife

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) who work in hospital settings may have different pricing than Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) who attend home births or birth center deliveries.

  • Birth Setting

Hospital births with a midwife typically cost less out-of-pocket when covered by insurance, while home births and birth center deliveries may have different fee structures.

  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

  • Insurance Coverage

Whether insurance covers the cost of a midwife in Chandler, AZ, depends on your specific insurance plan and provider. Many insurance policies, including those under the Affordable Care Act, may cover midwifery services, especially if the midwife is licensed and practicing in a hospital, birthing center, or home setting that is recognized by the insurance company. It's important to contact your insurance provider directly to confirm coverage details, including in-network midwives and any out-of-pocket costs. Additionally, some midwives may offer payment plans or work with you to navigate insurance claims if coverage is limited.

  • Experience and Specialization

Midwives with extensive experience, additional certifications, or specializations such as VBAC support or water birth may charge higher rates.

  • Geographic Location

Midwifery costs can vary based on the cost of living and demand for midwifery services in your specific area.

When considering hiring a midwife in Chandler, AZ, it's advisable to research and interview several midwives to find one who aligns with your birth plan, preferences, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services, insurance acceptance, and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs.

Janelle Moore

3 years of experience
Packages from $1,400 · $40/hr

Hi, I'm Janelle Moore, labor and postpartum doula serving families east and west valley. I entered the world of birthwork early 2023 as a loved one of mine stepped into her motherhood journey. She entered strong, encouraged, prepared, and yet looking for support, a listening ear, advocacy, and someone to lean on in that process. Something inside her knew what I think every mom knows, that every couple deserves support, every couple deserves an advocate, and every couple deserves evidence based education surrounding their options and each decision that they may anticipate to make for their birth and little one in labor and delivery. In supporting her that day a new passion sparked inside me to see every mom supported, held, strengthened and empowered as they shine bringing life into the world. That spark has grown day by day since. I am passionate about evidence based education leading up to birth that will empower parents to make fully informed decisions as are best for their family. I am passionate about supporting first-time parents as they embark on a new journey, and I am passionate that birth should be a beautifully empowering experience in which mom is supported through and through, never alone, discovering in each moment the depth of strength that she's carried all along. If you've landed on this page and would like to learn more please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to an opportunity to meet you, to chat and to hear more of your heart for your birth, little one, and/or postpartum journey.

Janelle was absolutely amazing. She was very open to our wants and provided amazing information and advice as we prepared to welcome our little one. She did not push anything but also had a lot of resources for all decisions when we were unsure. We felt very comfortable and confident with her which was so so helpful as we went through our experience as first time parents and first pregnancy. Once the little one was born she was so helpful postpartum with information and support and we could not be more happy with our experience with her!

Hello My name is Delores, a certified Labor, Postpartum and Infant care doula with over 10years experience supporting families in their birthing process and postpartum journey. Before there was a term for birth workers in this capacity, my love and compassion for comforting and supporting mothers and their newborns was a natural gift from God. I strive to make your birthing process relaxing and memorable by providing evidenced based comforting measures, breathing techniques, and unbiased care before, during and after birth. My goal is to create a trusting, relaxing, safe space for you to feel empowered and heard while seeking to turn your special moments into meaningful memories. I specialize in postpartum care, infant care, overnight support, premature infants, feeding and lactation support.

I offer my highest recommendation for our night nurse and postpartum doula, Delores from Round the Clock Doulas who supported our family following the birth of our twin boys. From the very beginning, Delores provided exceptional care with a level of thoroughness, professionalism, and calm confidence that immediately put me at ease. Her attention to detail, reliability, and deep knowledge of newborn care made an enormous difference during our postpartum period. She was especially attentive and responsive to our twins specific medical and sleep related needs. Beyond her technical skill, she was kind, warm, and incredibly dependable-exactly the kind of person you hope to have caring for your children during such a vulnerable and important time. I would recommend Delores without hesitation to any family seeking a trustworthy, experienced, and compassionate night nurse or postpartum doula. Any family would be lucky to have her support.

Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach currently pursuing my BSN in an accelerated nursing program. My passion has always been caring for others, especially women, mothers, and babies. My goal after graduation is to work in the NICU or PICU, where I can continue supporting families during some of life’s most important moments. My background is a little unique. I proudly served in the U.S. Army, where I developed discipline, leadership, and a deep commitment to serving others. I also have experience working with women’s psychiatric health, which has strengthened my understanding of the emotional and mental aspects of care. As a former nanny, I’ve had the privilege of caring for infants and supporting families through the early stages of childhood, giving me hands-on experience with newborns and infant development. Women’s health is where my heart truly is. I specialize in helping women understand their bodies through fitness, nutrition, and movement. Whether preparing for pregnancy, staying active during pregnancy, recovering postpartum, or simply building confidence and strength, I believe every woman deserves compassionate, evidence-based support that meets her where she is. As an aspiring doula, my mission is to create a calm, encouraging, and empowering environment where mothers feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their birth and postpartum journey. I believe birth is one of life’s most incredible experiences, and I would be honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Kaylee Drennan Goold

Packages from $1,200

Hello! My name is Kaylee and I am a birth doula located in Phoenix, Arizona. I approach pregnancy and birth from a holistic space, believing that these experiences involve your WHOLE self: mind, body, and spirit. I believe birth is less about “powering through” and more about how you work with your body and your emotions. I offer evidence-based care and believe that being educated gives you the best opportunity to make informed decisions for yourself and your baby. I genuinely care about each of my clients and their hopes for their birth. Support is everything in birth. When you have a good team behind you, you’re able to focus on the real work: turning inwards, keeping a regulated nervous system, and surrendering to the process that is birth. If you feel like we may be a good fit, please reach out for a complimentary consultation call! When I’m not supporting my clients, you can find me with my two littles and amazing husband, cooking up delicious meals, painting with acrylics, sewing to my heart’s content (hopefully with a pattern one day), writing satisfactory “to-do” lists, dreaming and planning for the future, and just about everything else!

As a partner, having Kaylee with us during labor was incredibly valuable. She not only supported my wife throughout labor, but she also supported me and helped me stay calm and involved during the entire process. There were moments when things felt overwhelming, and her presence, guidance, and encouragement made a huge difference for both of us. She helped us feel informed and supported while still respecting every decision we made during birth. We are very grateful for everything she did for our family.

Cannot recommend enough!! I purchased the $1200 package. In the prenatal visit she made sure to ask me exactly what I wanted to be put in my birth plan wrote it up for me and made sure everyone had a copy. Kylie made sure to get to know me, ask about my previous birth, and make sure she had all the information she needed so when I gave birth her and I were both prepared. Kylie also texted every day the week before my due date to check in with me and make sure everything was going good. During labor with my previous birth without her, I ended up getting the epidural because I couldn’t handle the contractions. One year later, I am having an unmedicated birth with Kylie coaching me through every contraction for nine hours. She was emotionally supportive when labor wasn’t progressing and physically supportive with counterpressure. I had a nurse try to give me Pitocin after birth, which I specifically put on my birth plan that I did not want it and Kylie stepped in and made sure the nurse was unable to put in my IV. Kylie then stayed with me through the birth of the placenta and the first hour of postpartum Thank you so much, Kylie. I hope you can be my Doula for all of my future pregnancies
