Hello, I’m a new Wisconsinite but I’ve always been passionate about mommas and babies. I was called the “baby whisperer” many times when I babysat or worked in the nursery at my local church. I find joy in serving families, building friendships, and learning more and more how special it is bringing a new little into this world. I am not a mother yet, but I’ve had the privilege to serve some already and it gives me a great sense of accomplishment and builds my desire for myself and my husband to build our family. I eagerly look forward to meeting families and being allowed the privilege to support them in this beautiful, sacred birth of life.

Moving to Wisconsin November 1, 2025. Izabel (she/her) is a birth doula trained through DONA International and a postpartum doula trained through CAPPA. She is in the final stages of completing her formal certifications for both. Izabel made her way into birth work in 2021 due to a strong desire to be with families at a monumental time and in 2024 added her transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) certifications to better support birthing parents who want more options around pain management. It's important for your support person to be educated as well and I enjoy teaching couples how to use this time to improve communication and strengthen your relationship. I hold a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and a master’s degree in healthcare administration. My passion for supporting families during birth and postpartum periods stems from my own journey with infertility. My husband and I faced the challenges of infertility for six years before conceiving our oldest daughter through IVF and our youngest daughter naturally. Each of my pregnancies and births was different from what I had imagined. I entered motherhood with a sense of naivety and quickly encountered postpartum depression and anxiety. I’m a Christian wife, mother, and RN who discovered a passion for birth work after having my own babies. I have been a birth doula since 2022 and a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), licensed since 2025. My midwifery practice is focused on faith and trust in the design of a woman’s and baby’s bodies to navigate the birth process. I work with my clients so that they can make informed decisions and consent. I consider myself a minimalist and love allowing the process unfold undisturbed unless absolutely necessary. As a birth doula, I have the most experience in attending unmedicated labors and do love to work with women who have this goal. However, I do still attend medicated births, planned or unplanned.
