Hi, I’m Kolby, a full spectrum doula! I come from a big family and have always loved birth & babies. I have been working with children for the past 10 years. In college, I studied nursing (my mom is a nurse), as well as reproductive health. As a doula, I love being able to care for babies and help families adjust to this new stage of life. It makes me happy knowing I’m making a difference in someone’s home. Building relationships and trust with families is important to me, something I take seriously as your doula. Prior to becoming a doula, I worked as an overnight newborn care specialist, nanny and infant teacher– supporting babies and collaborating with parents. My name is Fable Rodgers-Kurilenko and i've been a practicing Postpartum Doula(and occasional Birth Doula) for nearly two years after a long history with Nannying and being a Daycare teacher. I became a Doula because I longed to become more connected to families and mothers but within the Daycare setting due to conflicts of interest, was un able to do so. I had been interested in doula work since my early teens. My mother even bought me birth books in high school! That's when I left the daycare setting (returning to nannying for a time while I was in school) and got my doula certification.
