I earned a Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University in Dietetics and a Master of Advanced Study in Maternal and Child Nutrition from UC Davis. I completed my IBCLC mentorship at UC Davis Medical Center. Experience with supporting parents and babies through low milk supply, latching difficulties, pumping, and bottle feeding. Passionate about prenatal and postpartum nutrition, as well as the introduction of solid foods. My goal is to help parents feel confident in their feeding journey. Her path into lactation care began with her own challenging breastfeeding experience. Compassionate, skilled lactation support not only improved her baby's feeding journey but also transformed her experience of early motherhood. Inspired by that experience, Alicia completed the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant program through the University of California San Diego and has since dedicated her career to helping families achieve their feeding goals with confidence and support. Alicia brings a broad and thoughtful perspective to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Oberlin College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, with professional experience in women's healthcare and reproductive health. She is passionate about helping families understand the "why" behind feeding challenges, identify the issues that matter most, and create individualized solutions that fit their unique circumstances. Her clinical interests include supporting families experiencing low milk supply, oversupply, exclusive pumping, oral tether concerns, and breastfeeding challenges related to functional maternal health, including autoimmune conditions and hormonal imbalances. Alicia enjoys working through complex feeding situations and helping parents develop practical, sustainable strategies that align with their family's goals. Alicia is LGBTQ+ inclusive, and she warmly welcomes families of all structures, identities, and feeding goals. In my professional life, my experiences includes supporting populations like pregnant and postpartum women, infants, children, low-income individuals and families, and culturally diverse groups. Beginning in 2019, I worked closely with mothers and babies to promote optimal health outcomes, and in doing so, her passion for breastfeeding advocacy and support ignited. I later became an internationally recognized lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2023, and it has become part of my mission to continue to serve lactating communities with a focus on preventative health.

I completed advanced training in human lactation and naturopathic medicine, and is a candidate for licensure as a Naturopathic Doctor. With experience supporting babies with conditions such as tongue tie, torticollis, muscle tension, colic, breastfeeding challenges, developmental delays, and gastrointestinal issues, I am passionate about enhancing birth outcomes, improving pregnancy and postpartum care, and promoting infant comfort as well as breastfeeding success. Through craniosacral therapy and natural baby-led breastfeeding approach, I help mothers and babies find balance and well-being, facilitating a supportive foundation for growth and recovery.
