Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Birth Story Listener. I felt called to work with birth as a young adult, and love helping folks prepare for and navigate their birth journeys, as well as their relationship to their birth stories. My goal is to help birthing people find an empowered way through whatever comes up for them, and for them to feel supported and seen throughout the process. I also enjoy homeschooling my kids, teaching theater classes, singing in my community choir, and working for a local organic farm at the farmers market in Claremont!

I worked with Stephanie prenatally, during labor/delivery, and postpartum too. She was wonderful to work with, a great listener, guided me and my husband well through what we could expect with having our first child, supported me through my various anxieties, and really showed up for us during labor. She was a vital advocate for me while I was at the hospital. She is knowledgable about Spinning Babies (and has received their training), did a visualization exercise with my husband and I in thinking about the unknowns of parenthood and embracing all that was to come, and she was ready and prepared to support us when she came to the hospital. She supported me emotionally and physically through early labor and all the various interventions that became necessary because I was not dilating and my labor was not progressing. Loved working with Stephanie and would recommend her to anyone for support during the birth or new mom phase of life.

I honestly can't recommend Arielle enough!! She always made me feel like my birth was about me and what I wanted, never what anyone else thought it should look like. She took the time to explain my options and answer every question and gave me the confidence to advocate for myself that I really needed lol. There were a few times my doctors recommended things that I probably would have just gone along with because I didn't know I had other options or that it was okay to ask more questions. Having her there to be able to call and txt whenever made such a difference. She helped me understand my choices without ever telling me what to do, so every decision still felt like it was mine. Because of her I was able to have the quick unmedicated birth that my doctor said probably wasn't going to happen!! She always met me where I was, worked at my pace, and supported me every step of the way! I'm so grateful she was part of my birth my experience would have not been the same without her! She even provided support for my husband in the delivery room and told him to hold my leg which in the moment he did not want to do and now it's a highlight for him hes so grateful she was there too! Amazing personality you'll want to be best friends with her no problem!! She is an PHENOMENAL mama herself too!

With years of experience as a midwife and birth professional, I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a holistic, grounded approach that honors both physiology and personal choice. Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, birth center delivery, medicated or unmedicated experience, my role is to help you feel fully prepared — physically, emotionally, and mentally — for the birth you desire. My pregnancy bodywork sessions are designed to support optimal fetal positioning, pelvic balance, and nervous system regulation. When the body is aligned and tension patterns are released, babies can settle into ideal positions and labor often unfolds more smoothly. A regulated nervous system allows you to feel safer, more present, and more empowered — which can significantly impact both birth and postpartum recovery. In addition to hands-on bodywork, I offer comprehensive childbirth education that prepares you for the realities of labor, informed decision-making, partner support, and postpartum recovery. My goal is not to push a specific birth path, but to equip you with knowledge, confidence, and tools so you can navigate your experience feeling supported and in control. I bring both clinical insight and steady presence. I understand the nuances of hospital systems and home birth environments, and I help families advocate for themselves while staying connected to their intuition. Birth is a rite of passage — and preparation matters. When your body is balanced, your nervous system is regulated, and your mind is informed, you enter birth grounded and ready. It is an honor to walk alongside families as they prepare to welcome their babies and step into parenthood with confidence.

Hi, I'm Monica—the heart behind Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. I'm a proud Mexican and Guatemalan woman, born and raised in Southern California, where family, community, and caring for others have always been at the center of my life. At 31 years old, I've spent the last five years working in the field of child development, supporting children and families through some of their most important milestones. That passion naturally led me to birth work, where I discovered my calling: walking alongside growing families with compassionate, evidence-based care during one of life's most transformative seasons. As mom to an energetic, fun-loving, and incredibly kind two-year-old who wholeheartedly believes he's Spider-Man, motherhood has been the greatest gift of my life, and it's given me a deep appreciation for the joys, challenges, and incredible strength that come with raising a child. Happily married to the man who made me a mom and my biggest source of support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery, he stood beside me every step of the way—offering encouragement, reassurance, and unwavering love. Experiencing that kind of support firsthand shaped my understanding of how powerful it is to feel truly seen, cared for, and advocated for during birth. It's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about ensuring every family feels supported in a way that reflects their own needs and values. I believe every parent deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As your doula, my role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and educational support while honoring your unique preferences, values, and birth goals. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, a VBAC, or anything in between, I am committed to creating a calm, judgment-free space where you feel confident making informed decisions for yourself and your baby. My approach is deeply personal because no two families are the same. I take the time to understand your hopes, answer your questions, and support you through every stage of your journey. From prenatal preparation and labor support to postpartum care, my goal is to ensure you always feel informed, nurtured, and never alone. For me, being a doula is about so much more than birth—it's about building meaningful relationships and helping families begin this new chapter feeling confident, supported, and deeply cared for. It would be an honor to walk alongside you, celebrate your strength, and help you welcome your little one with peace, confidence, and unwavering support.

We hired Monica as a postpartum mommy helper starting when our baby was 2 weeks old, and she was wonderful to have during those early, overwhelming weeks. Our baby had some digestive issues and was quite fussy, and Monica was very patient and attentive with him, she had so many practical tips and suggestions for soothing him that genuinely made a difference for our whole household. She has clearly worked with a lot of babies and it showed in how calm and confident she was, even during the hard stretches. She was also wonderful with our 3-year-old, who needed extra attention during this transition, and it meant so much to see him looked after with the same warmth and care. We felt so supported having her with us during this time and would recommend her to any family, especially those navigating a fussy or colicky baby. Thank you, Monica!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Autum Rose! From our very first meeting, she immediately put us at ease. She came to our house for our first meeting, stayed over time, and took the time to explain the entire birth process in so much detail. As first-time parents, this was incredibly helpful and made us feel so much more prepared and confident going into our birth. Little did we know, my water would break that very night! Autum was immediately there to guide us through the next steps and answer all of our questions. She met us at the hospital the following day and stayed with us for over 30 hours. She was there through every moment of our labor, even sleeping on a little bench just to be close by and ready whenever we needed her. She came so prepared with massage tools, different labor positions, room spray, shower gel, and so many other little things that made such a difference. She helped us navigate each stage of labor, provided guidance when we needed it, and helped us have informed and empowered conversations when interventions came up. We always felt supported, heard, and cared for. One of the things we are especially grateful for is that Autum also took photos throughout our labor and birth. Having those moments captured is something we will treasure forever, and we are so thankful that she thought to document such an incredibly emotional and meaningful day for our family. Her care didn’t end when our baby was born, either. Our postpartum visit with Autum was so incredibly healing. Having the time and space to sit down and talk through our birth experience with someone who had been there for every moment meant so much to us. She also brought her massage table and worked on me, helping relieve so much of the tension and soreness I had been carrying. It was such a thoughtful and special part of her care, and we left feeling so supported both physically and emotionally. It is so obvious that Autum truly loves what she does. Her care, passion, patience, and dedication shine through in everything she does. She went above and beyond for us in every possible way, and we feel incredibly lucky that she was the person beside us during such a life-changing experience. We are so incredibly grateful for Autum and everything she did for our family. She made us feel safe, informed, supported, and cared for from the very beginning through postpartum. We will 100% be using her again and cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a doula. She is truly one of a kind! ❤️

I’m a community-based birth worker and maternal health advocate with a deep commitment to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey with care that is informed, calm, and centered on dignity. My work is rooted in both lived experience and years of supporting families through community initiatives focused on maternal wellness and emotional support. I also lead a maternal mental health initiative that brings mothers together in meaningful ways which build connection, healing, and shared knowledge across generations. I am especially passionate about improving birth outcomes and ensuring families feel informed, respected, and supported in every decision they make. My approach to birth is grounded in trust in the body, education, and advocacy which help parents feel safe, seen, and empowered no matter how their birth unfolds. I bring strong skills in emotional support, birth preparation education, and continuity of care, along with experience working in community settings that center Black maternal health and holistic, culturally responsive care. My goal is always to hold space where families feel both protected and empowered as they step into parenthood. Outside of birth work, I bring a warm, down-to-earth energy and love finding joy in the small things, whether that’s roller skating, music that sets the mood, or laughter that makes a hard day feel lighter. I believe joy is part of healing too, and I try to carry that into every space I’m in.

Carla is a true God send! I'm so grateful to have found her. I was searching for a doula because I needed someone to go into the labor/delivery room and advocate for me should things not go as planned. With her help and guidance, I was able to labor successfully at home, managing my own pain, and she was right there with me to welcome my little one into the world. After leaving the hospital, I struggled tremendously with breastfeeding. She knew how important it was to me so she wouldn't let me give up. Thanks to her wisdom and helpful tips, I successfully nursed my little one for a yr and a half! Thank you again!!

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! ANGELINA, we have already made it clear to you. You have already went to yelp. We have reviewed your reviews., you go around making bad reviews because at a snap of a finger, one time visit we could not make due to an emergency induction for another mom. Out of 300 births, you are the only person who has ever tried to hurt my business the way you have. I personally feel that you have to heal in your postpartum that’s a priority to me versus my feelings at this point I have parted ways with you for more than one reason this is a public platform and I will not disclose any of your personal information. I did an absolutely fantastic job as doula , I did not ask you to write a review on this website, you made flaws claims and accusations about contracts. I have never made anyone sign. You made false claims about me not being communicative with you about a postpartum visit. You made false claims in regards to my professional professionalism. I helped watch your sweet baby boy while you were able to have a successful delivery. I have treated your family with absolute respect. But one thing I will not tolerate about my business as false accusation.. I will not move forward with any type of care in the future, and we have parted ways.

Working with Sharon was one of the most reassuring parts of our entire birth experience. From the very beginning, her communication style put us at ease. She paid close attention to the details of our birth plan and made sure our preferences were understood and respected throughout the process. One thing we especially appreciated was her flexibility around when to join us at the hospital. She checked in often, helped us navigate the early stages from afar, and arrived right when we entered active labor. From that moment on, her presence made a noticeable difference. She helped lower our stress, and we trusted her implicitly in how she advocated for us with the nursing staff. Her strong rapport with the team at Woodland Hills Kaiser Permanente made everything feel that much smoother. Sharon’s depth of experience came through in every interaction. She was calm when we needed calm, confident when we needed guidance, and always focused on making sure we felt supported. We’re incredibly grateful for her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a doula who is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
