Courtney Falcon

4 years of experience

My journey as a labor doula began in 2021, driven by a deep passion for supporting families during one of life’s most transformative moments. With a strong foundation in newborn and infant care since 2015, I feel truly honored to walk alongside parents as they welcome their little ones into the world. My background includes working as a Floortime therapist for children with ASD, serving as an after-school program director, and capturing magical memories as a photographer at Disneyland. Yet, nothing compares to the profound joy of hearing a baby's heartbeat on a monitor and then witnessing their first cries as they enter the world. I am committed to continuous learning and aspire to expand my expertise as a postpartum doula and grief/death doula, ensuring I can provide compassionate care at every stage of the journey.

Courtney Falcon was our back up doula for our second child, but it ended up being a great experience and possibly even kismet. We were very lucky to have someone take charge in a warm and loving manner. We felt supported every step of the way. She even stayed many late hours after the birth to help make sure our son was stable and didn't have to go to the NICU. Without her diligence, our child wouldn't have been able to avoid the NICU- she was a godsend. She's extremely knowledgeable, and is always looking to expand her learning. She was always providing us with more resources than we even knew we needed, and not just about babies, but about child/toddler behavior as well. Courtney is also excellent with babies and children, and provided some child care to our family during our times of need. With her previous background working with kids, we felt our kids were in the best of hands. We cannot recommend Courtney Falcon enough to be your doula, please book her today!

Hello families! My name is Mariah, and I am a dedicated postpartum doula specializing in supporting families through the beautiful, and sometimes overwhelming transition into life with a new baby. I am also currently working towards becoming a nurse with the end goal of being a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. My goal is to provide physical, emotional, and informational support that parents and their little ones need during this precious time, helping mothers recover, rest, and bond deeply with their new bundle of joy. My approach is nurturing, nonjudgmental, and rooted in the belief that with the right support, parents can thrive during the postpartum period. Whether it’s helping overnight so you can get restorative sleep, supporting daytime routines, or simply being a calm presence to talk to, I am passionate about making this transition a little easier and a lot more joyful. I look forward to being a part of your journey and supporting you during one of the most special times of your life!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the amazing Mariah ! She provided a type of care I truly wasn’t prepared to receive for my entry into motherhood. Not even thinking a doula would be a necessary as a new mom I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot. As our postpartum doula, she was simply incredible offering both overnight and daytime support with a level of care, compassion, and professionalism that far exceeded mine and my husband’s expectations. Mariah was attentive to every need, making sure I felt supported not just physically, but emotionally throughout the months I was lucky to have her support. She created such a peaceful environment for both me and my baby, and I always felt at ease knowing she was there. Literally after the first time of overnight I gave her my baby and didn’t have any hesitation which as a mom is not something I have experienced for anyone other than my husband and mom. What truly sets Mariah apart is how consistently she went above and beyond to make sure I knew every detail when she had my baby. No matter how last-minute a request was, she found a way to help without hesitation. Her flexibility, kindness, and genuine dedication made such a difference for our family, and we are forever grateful for her. I would highly recommend Mariah to anyone looking for a postpartum doula who truly cares and brings heart, skill, and thoughtfulness to everything she does. She was truly a blessing to our family.

Alix Farnell

Huntington Beach, California

Alix Farnell

As your doula, my role is to support you and your family in the way that best helps you feel calm, confident, and present throughout labor. That might look like hands-on support to help you labor more comfortably at home, guiding your partner in how to do the same, offering gentle coaching as you breathe through contractions, or even quietly capturing photos and keeping loved ones updated. Every birth is unique, and I’m flexible to your goals and desires—even if they shift as labor unfolds. While some people picture doulas as very “woo-woo” or mystical, my style is more grounded and pragmatic. I believe in giving you practical tools, evidence-based guidance, and steady encouragement so you can navigate the challenges of labor with clarity and confidence. I love preparing families by educating them about what to expect and how to respond intentionally, rather than react impulsively in the moment. My professional background is in leadership, mentorship, and professional development, and I bring that same skillset into my doula work—helping you tap into your own strength, stay relaxed, and move through labor as smoothly as your body allows. My ultimate goal is to help you experience the fastest, easiest birth your body is capable of, while holding space for you to feel calm, supported, and fully present in the process.

Having Alix as our doula was the best decision my husband and I made for our birth. I had a long and unexpected labor, and she was our rock through it all. She was knowledgeable, reliable, kind, and incredibly supportive. Alix helped us communicate with the medical staff during stressful moments, making us feel heard and confident in our decisions. She also knew exactly when to step in and when to give us the privacy we needed, which I appreciated so much. After delivery, she helped me with breastfeeding and continued to support us when we needed it most. I truly can't imagine our birth experience without her. I highly recommend Alix to anyone looking for a compassionate and amazing doula.

Our experience with Melanie was nothing short of exceptional. Melanie was our NCS from the day our son was born until 6 months of age. She truly operated as the Lead NCS for our household, setting the standard for everyone else and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Her level of organization was outstanding. Melanie was always proactive about keeping me informed on anything that needed restocking and made sure our home was consistently well prepared and fully supplied. Melanie’s commitment to hygiene and safety was a huge stand out for us. She maintained the highest standards of cleanliness in caring for our newborn and was incredibly diligent about safe sleep practices at all times, which gave us real peace of mind. Every night, she provided thoughtful, consistent updates so we always knew exactly how our son was doing. Melanie also took the initiative to organize and coordinate the nightly schedule between myself and the other staff, ensuring everyone was aligned and that care was consistent. All of our son’s feeding, sleeping, and changing items were always perfectly organized and ready, making everything feel effortless. Beyond technical skills, Melanie brought a level of professionalism and leadership that elevated our entire household. She truly ran a well-managed, attentive, and calm environment for our son, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and structure she provided during such an important time. We hope to have her back for baby #2!

Momo Bass

Momo Bass

7 years of experience

Hello everyone, my name is Momo Bass and I am a certified birth doula as well as a trained postpartum doula that serves the greater Los Angeles and Pasadena area. Aside from doing this rewarding work for a while, I am also a mama myself, to three amazing kiddos! When I'm not cheering on my kids at soccer practice, you'll likely find me tending to my ever-growing houseplant collection, or tending to myself at the gym. But my true passion lies in supporting families embarking on their incredible birthing journey. Motherhood is what threw me into the thralls of what it means to bring life into this world. It's this firsthand knowledge, coupled with my relentless curiosity about the miracle of birth and the transition into becoming a parent, that led me to become a birth and postpartum doula. Bringing my kiddos earth side became my superpower, and it’s become my mission to ignite that same fire in the families I work with. I believe that starts with finding judgment-free informational and emotional support, and I believe it starts when parents take back control of how their labor & postpartum experience goes by making informed decisions on what’s best for yourself and your growing family. “Everyone wants to hold the baby, but who will hold the mother/parents?” As a birth and postpartum doula, I will!

Recent review

I had the pleasure of working alongside Monique as my co-doula, and I can confidently say she is an exceptional professional. Momo brings warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to every family she supports. Her calm demeanor and intuitive ability to anticipate the needs of both birthing parents and their partners make her a reliable and invaluable presence during such an important time. Working with Momo, I’ve seen firsthand how her knowledge, experience, and genuine care create a safe and empowering space for her clients. She has a natural gift for fostering connection and ensuring her clients feel heard, supported, and respected throughout their journey. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Momo by their side. She’s not just a doula but a true advocate and companion for the families she serves. Warmly, Maia S

If you value both evidence and intuition, I might be the doula for you. I love helping clients combine research and their own instincts to make decisions that are right for them. Furthermore, I might be the doula for you if you want support without an agenda. I don’t believe there’s an ideal way to approach birth or postpartum adjustment. I’m here to understand and support whatever path you want to take.

I had the privilege of having Glo as my birth and postpartum doula, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. As someone who had always been terrified of giving birth, I can honestly say that my birth experience was not only positive, but actually enjoyable—and that was 100% because of Glo. During our prenatal session, she took the time to educate both my husband and me on all things birth. We left feeling informed, confident, and empowered to advocate for ourselves and make decisions that felt right for our family. Glo was an incredible support throughout the process. She always made sure we understood our options and the evidence behind them, but never pushed us in any particular direction. Instead, she fully supported every decision we made, which made us feel respected, calm, and in control during such an important moment. Her postpartum support was just as amazing. She provided immense emotional support during those early weeks, along with practical help with our baby, thoughtful guidance, and even assistance with meal prep and grocery shopping. Having her there made such a difference during a time that can feel overwhelming. Glo truly helped shape our transition into parenthood into such a smooth, supported, and genuinely lovely experience. We are beyond grateful for her and feel so lucky to have had her by our side during this journey.

I completed my birth doula training with Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks, California in 2022. I continue to expand my knowledge through additional certificates in areas such as basic lactation support, childbirth education, and CPR/First Aid. This fall, I will be an internationally certified birth doula and childbirth educator through ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association). If you're considering hiring Angela, do it. It was one of the best decisions my partner and I made during my pregnancy, and I can confidently say she was worth every penny. From our very first conversation, we were drawn to Angela's calm, grounding presence. She immediately made me feel safe, and I had a strong sense that I would be well cared for, which turned out to be absolutely true. We were also impressed by her experience, her commitment to continuing her education, and her familiarity with both my OBGYN and the hospital where I delivered. What set Angela apart most was how completely judgment-free she was. From the beginning, she made it clear that her role was to support my birth, not impose her own opinions. From decisions such as considering an induction or planning to get an epidural, she always provided balanced, evidence-based information and helped me think through my options without ever trying to sway my decisions. She empowered me to make informed choices that aligned with my values and birth plan. During labor, Angela was everything I hoped for and more. She was my emotional anchor, a wonderful advocate in the hospital, and an incredible support for my partner. Since our families live far away, she filled such an important role for us, bringing warmth, reassurance, and steady guidance throughout the entire experience. After I got my epidural, she continued helping me labor by guiding me through different positions to encourage progress, and she always seemed to know exactly what I needed in the moment. One thing I especially appreciated was how she built genuine relationships with the nurses caring for us. She took the time to get to know them and even brought small appreciation gifts. It created such a positive atmosphere, and we ended up with an amazing care team that made our hospital stay even better. The prenatal meetings were another highlight. They were thoughtfully structured and left me feeling informed and confident going into labor. Practicing labor positions and comfort techniques with my partner beforehand made a huge difference, and seeing all the tools and techniques Angela had in her toolbox gave me confidence that I'd be well supported no matter how my labor unfolded. What many people may not realize is that Angela's care doesn't end after delivery. We scheduled our postpartum visit for the day we came home from the hospital, and it was one of the best decisions we made. She helped me get my recovery supplies organized, set up the baby's bassinet and other essentials, and made our transition home feel so much less overwhelming. One of the most meaningful gifts she gave us was a beautifully written birth story that she documented throughout my labor and delivery. It's such a special keepsake that I'll treasure forever. Looking back, I honestly can't think of anything I wish Angela had done differently. She exceeded every expectation we had. My partner and I are so grateful for her guidance, compassion, wisdom, and unwavering support.
