I loved having Annie as my doula! As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions regarding my health and how to prepare for labor and delivery. Annie took her time to meet with me multiple times, and would make herself available to me for phone calls for random questions I had. She really gave me peace of mind having someone to talk to that is experienced in pregnancy and birth. I also had gestational diabetes and lots of pelvic pain during my pregnancy, and Annie's knowledge in physical training helped me so much to know what exercises to do for both conditions. She met with my husband and I to prepare us for labor, and coach him on what he could do to alleviate my pain. During labor and delivery she was readily available and now I have a beautiful healthy baby girl!

Hello! I’m Nora, an experienced Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with over 35 years of professional childcare experience, including 26 years specializing in newborn care. My journey began in 1991 as a professional nanny caring for children of different ages. In 2000, a dear friend introduced me to the wonderful world of overnight newborn care, and I quickly discovered my true passion. I completed my Postpartum Doula training in 2005 and continued my professional education in newborn care in 2007. Throughout the years, I’ve expanded my knowledge through additional training in lactation education, infant sleep shaping, and age-appropriate sleep training. One of the most meaningful experiences of my career began in 2006, when I was hired to care for newborn twins. What started as an overnight position developed into a wonderful nine-year relationship with their family. During those years, two more babies joined the family, and I had the privilege of helping establish healthy sleep routines for each of them. Years later, another family welcomed me into their home to care for their twins. Once again, what began as newborn care turned into a five-year commitment. Throughout these long-term positions, I continued supporting other families with overnight newborn care, allowing me to stay actively involved in the work I love most. My areas of experience and specialty include: * Overnight newborn care and postpartum support * Twins, triplets, and multiples care * Premature infants and NICU-to-home transitions * Breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and lactation education support * Reflux, gas, and feeding challenges * Gentle newborn sleep shaping and healthy sleep foundations * Age-appropriate infant sleep training and independent sleep guidance * Parent education and individualized newborn routines My approach to sleep begins with gentle, responsive routines during the early newborn weeks. As babies grow and become developmentally ready, I help families gradually establish healthy sleep habits and work toward more independent sleep. I believe every baby is unique, and every family deserves care that respects their parenting preferences, values, and individual needs. I am CPR/First Aid certified, professionally insured, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a registered Carrot provider. For me, newborn care is much more than a profession. It’s a passion that has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with families and support them through some of the most beautiful and challenging moments of parenthood. My greatest reward is knowing that parents can rest peacefully while their little ones are receiving attentive, nurturing, and experienced care. I would be honored to be part of your family’s journey! ❤️

Nora is truly a gift for any family to have! Nora is extremely reliable, trustworthy, experienced and hard working. She adapts well to different households and parenting styles, communicates well and creates a plan to uniquely support your families needs. She’s very natural and knowledgeable with newborns while providing confidence and support to parents. She was our saving grace supporting us during a time of need with newborn challenges like reflux, tongue tie, traveling internationally and sleep training.

Hi, I’m Melanie Powell—certified doula, childbirth educator, author of From Fear to First Cry, and the founder of both Little Flower Birth Services and the non-profit Under His Wings Collective. As a mother myself, I know firsthand that bringing a child into the world is one of the most profound, transformative journeys you will ever take. But I also know it can bring up deep questions, past fears, and medical anxieties. That is why my life’s work is dedicated to walking beside women and their partners, ensuring you never have to navigate the medical landscape alone. Through Little Flower Birth Services, my practice is rooted in three core pillars: Advocacy to help your partner step into their role as your protector, Sanctuary to guard your peace with a protective "Baby Bubble," and Autonomy to honor your God-given intuition through a trauma-informed framework. Whether I'm teaching evidence-based physiological birth classes, coaching partners in our signature advocacy workshops, or offering quiet, steadfast support in the delivery room, my goal is to transform your anxieties into your greatest strengths. Beyond my private practice, my heart for community led me to establish Under His Wings Collective—a non-profit initiative dedicated to expanding access to sliding-scale and free childbirth education, alongside trauma-informed virtual doula support (such as our Virtual Bloom Package) for Medicaid-eligible, low-income, and high-anxiety mothers who deserve dedicated care regardless of circumstance. When I’m not supporting families across the DFW Metroplex, leading virtual education cohorts, or advocating through the collective, you can usually find me baking something nourishing for loved ones or cherishing quiet moments with my daughter. You deserve to enter your birth room feeling strong, informed, and deeply supported. I would be honored to walk this sacred journey with you.

What made us choose Melanie as our birth doula for our first birth experience was the fact that she was Catholic and she offered a lot in her birth package. She was extremely helpful all throughout my pregnancy, especially on the day of my delivery. She helped us map out a birth plan and she did a great job educating us. During my labor, Melanie coached me through exercises she prepped us with to deal with the contractions. After I got my epidural, I was still experiencing pain on my right side. Melanie spent hours lightly shaking the area to get my daughter to move. It really helped me deal with the pain. She also helped the nurse with getting my daughter to turn face down to prepare for birth. Melanie offered me the comfort and support I needed in the last hours of my labor. Because of her support, my husband was able to get some extra sleep so he could be present with me and available post-birth. I would strongly recommend Melanie as a doula.

Hi, I'm Rochelle! ** I am live scan fingerprinted & background checked with clearance as the DOJ Custodian of Records for my job outside of being a birth doula. Those records are available upon request. *** I'm a mom to three amazing kids, ages 20, 13, and 8, which means I'm living in ALL the seasons of motherhood at once! From college to junior high and elementary school, life is full, fun, and always keeping me on my toes. My love for birth started when I was just 12 years old and witnessed my first baby being born. That experience stayed with me and sparked a passion I've carried ever since. After years of supporting women through birth, I became a trained birth doula three years ago, and I'm now working toward becoming a childbirth educator and lactation consultant. My doula style is laid-back, encouraging, and rooted in education, open communication, and a little humor! I've supported all types of births, and one thing I believe strongly is that your birth isn't about me, my preferences, or my convictions. It's about YOU. I'm 100% committed to respecting your values, choices, and wishes, whatever those look like. My husband and I have nothing but incredible things to say about Rochelle with Crowning Achievement! Having her as our doula meant we were educated on all things birth throughout pregnancy, she'd be with us to support our "birth plan," and she'd be equipped to help guide us through any unforeseen changes throughout labor & delivery. With our dream unmedicated birth now behind us, her knowledge and experience really is priceless and I can't imagine ever going through labor and delivery again without her! She supported me physically through various coping methods, mentally/emotionally by being a strong and safe figure, and she even helped guide my husband who received a lot of coaching for how to support me best. My husband says it wouldn't have been the same experience and we wouldn't have been able to go unmedicated like we did without her - I second that! She spent so much time learning about me and my preferences to know exactly what I needed in the moment and did the best job at keeping communication open throughout labor. She was also the best bridge between us and the hospital staff and they also raved about her which was really awesome to hear! If you're wanting to learn more about doula support during birth, do not hesitate to reach out to Rochelle for even just an introductory call! She's truly the WHOLE package and we get to look back on how empowered, calm, and dare I even say "light-hearted" our birth was largely because of Rochelle. Like I said, nothing but incredible things to say. 10/10!!

There are people who do a job, and then there are people who change your life. Dessira is the latter. She entered our lives when our son was born premature and jaundiced. Dessira helped our baby gain weight and, at the same time, provided calm encouragement that helped us become confident parents. That gift is priceless, and I will never forget it. She returned to us when our son was two and stayed until he was six. During those years, she helped us build a nutrition and activity plan. This kept him energized, curious, and challenged--without empty calories or screens. The positive effects of this plan are too many to list here, but the best was his dramatically improved sleep schedule. My son had a mildly rocky transition from nursery school to a TK/K mix to a TK-only class. At the time, I worked 60-70-hour workweeks and cannot overstate the comfort of knowing my son was safe, stimulated, and thriving with Dessira during the day. At night, I was able to be fully present with my son because Dessira handled housework and other distractions that would have taken away from that precious time. She did this without being asked. I'm grateful to her because if she hadn't, I wouldn't have thought of it. Dessira is exceptional with infants and children of all ages. She is calm under pressure because she has a deep well of knowledge and experience to draw from. She prioritizes safety -- the safety of their bodies, of course, and also their minds and hearts. She values imagination and curiosity, and she brings genuine warmth, humor, and fun to every day. Dessira is unique in that she cares for the whole family as a single ecosystem, where the health of all depends on the health of each. She is a wonderful listener, and as she learns what matters to you -- as parents, as people -- she reflects that back to you with encouragement and practical creativity. When I said, "Well, ideally we'd do this, but that's probably unrealistic," her response was, "Maybe so -- but let's talk about it for a minute, just to see." Most of the time, with a bit of creativity and brainstorming, we made it happen. When we didn't, I felt supported and seen, which I found to be equally valuable. It makes a big difference in my life when a smart, energetic person is on my team. I'm better at my job, I'm a better partner, and I'm a better mom. If you are lucky enough to get Dessira in your corner, I am genuinely happy for you and your family to have the kind of support that will enrich your lives.

Hello, I'm Cierria Leyazhié or you may call me Apache, and I believe birth is one of God’s most beautiful and sacred calls. My passion is supporting mothers not just through the physical act of labor, but through the profound spiritual and energetic transformation it demands. My approach is built on three distinct pillars: Pillar 1: Christ-Centered Care & Hypnobirthing: I equip you with Scriptural affirmations, prayerful grounding techniques, and Christian Hypnobirthing methods—helping you replace fear and tension with profound relaxation and faith, working toward a gentler, less painful birth experience. Pillar 2: Ayurvedic Wisdom & Doula Training: My commitment to holistic health is backed by rigorous education from the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS), where I earned certifications as an Ayurvedic Wellness Educator and Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. I then completed my full-spectrum doula training with the Sankofa Birthing Collective. I guide mothers toward balanced health, focusing heavily on Vata-pacifying principles—the ancient practice of using warmth, nourishment, and deep rest for true physical and nervous system recovery during the crucial 42-day postpartum period. Pillar 3: Advanced Lactation & Education: As a Certified Lactation Educator who is actively working to complete requirements to become an IBCLC, I provide high-level, up-to-date, evidence-based childbirth and feeding education, ensuring you have the practical tools and specialized knowledge necessary for an empowered birth and a successful breastfeeding start. Whether through Ayurvedic food guidance, gentle herbal recommendations, or prayerful presence, I am here to help you experience a birth that is peaceful, powerful, and deeply honoring of your body and your faith. A Holistic Approach to Your Fourth Trimester Whether it is through preparing Ayurvedic "warm-natured" meals, providing gentle herbal recommendations, or offering a prayerful presence, I am here to ensure your postpartum period is a time of deep rest rather than depletion. I am dedicated to helping you experience a birth and recovery that is peaceful, powerful, and deeply honoring of your body and your faith.

This was my third pregnancy/birth but my first time having a doula and I could not imagine a better person for the job! I enjoy how easy it was to work with Cierria on not only what I'd desire to have for pregnancy but also the assurance if things went differently than planned. She keeps it realistic while also respecting your choices and is a powerhouse in advocating for her clients while striving to encourage working in tandem with your doctor/care team, not against them. It was very much appreciated when I was feeling vulnerable. This time around postpartum has been way easier to adjust too as well as I've had breastfeeding support, dietary recommendations based on my unique recovery and goals, tips for physical recovery and she's always left room to adjust any of this and is a great chatter. Sometimes you just want to vent with no actual goal and she's all for it. I've had such a blast with the whole experience that a fourth child might be possible with her as my doula again haha!

As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

With years of hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery and Emergency Care, I have witnessed both the incredible beauty of childbirth and the challenges women face when navigating the healthcare system. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for women during some of their most vulnerable and empowering moments. I have also witnessed too many mothers enter the delivery room feeling overwhelmed, unprepared, unheard, or uncertain about their choices. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that experience. That passion is what inspired me to create Vida Birth Support.💗 My vision was to build something that goes beyond traditional birth support—a place where education, advocacy, compassion, and empowerment come together to help women take an active role in their birth experience. At Vida, our mission is simple yet powerful: **To empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support so they can approach childbirth feeling confident, informed, respected, and supported.** ✨ **Education Is Empowerment** We offer comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to help expectant mothers and their families understand the incredible changes happening throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our classes focus on understanding the stages of labor, pain management options, medical interventions, recognizing potential complications, understanding patient rights, and learning how to communicate effectively with the healthcare team. I believe that when a woman understands her body, her options, and her rights, she becomes better equipped to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. ✨ **Compassionate Doula Support** In addition to education, Vida provides personalized birth and postpartum doula services centered on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, encouragement, and continuous support. I helped watch your sweet baby boy while you were able to have a successful delivery. I have treated your family with absolute respect. But one thing I will not tolerate about my business as false accusation.. I will not move forward with any type of care in the future, and we have parted ways.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Karla. She is an extraordinary person who consistently goes above and beyond, and the warmth, compassion, and genuine love she has shown our newborn son have meant the world to our family. As first-time parents, the idea of leaving our newborn in someone else’s care was understandably a little intimidating. But from the moment we interviewed Karla, she gave us absolutely no reason to hesitate. Her professionalism, experience, and incredibly warm personality immediately put us at ease. We felt safe and confident knowing our little guy was in such capable and loving hands. What makes Karla so special is that she doesn’t simply show up and do her job. She genuinely cares. She has surprised us time and time again with her thoughtfulness, her willingness to go above and beyond, and the attention she gives to every little detail. She always made sure we knew how our son was doing throughout the night, giving us tremendous peace of mind and allowing us to actually relax and get some much-needed rest. Her passion for what she does is apparent the moment she walks through your door. There is something incredibly special about welcoming someone into your home who treats your child with the same tenderness and affection you would. Karla has a way of making herself feel like an extension of your family, and I think that speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. I’ve never felt compelled to write a Google review until now. And the reason I’m writing this one is simple: I believe so strongly in the work Karla does, the care she provides, and her extraordinary ability to deliver on the trust that families place in her. When someone makes this meaningful a difference in your family’s life, it deserves to be recognized. I’ve already recommended her to one of my closest friends, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for exceptional newborn care. Having Karla in your home is truly a gift, especially during those early months when everything is so new and overwhelming. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with her as our little guy grows over the coming months and years. She is simply wonderful, and any family would be lucky to have her.
