Hello everyone! my name is Amanda, & I have been working in childcare for over 5 years. I obtained my associate degree in early childhood education in 2021 and my doula certifications through the International Doula Institute in 2023. I have worked in various environments including an in-home daycare, a childcare center, and the homes of personal nanny clients. I chose to pursue doula work because of my innate drive to support others and provide the needed assistance to empower families in their abilities. I am beginning to create and grow my doula business and I look forward to connecting with families around my community! I have a calm and reserved personality type which allows space for everyone to be seen and heard. Outside of doula work, I enjoy working on sewing projects, home improvements, and visiting with family!

My own birth experience inspired me to become certified as a birth doula in 2018. I have since become a certified birth hypnosis doula through Hypnobabies® and also am the only certified Spinning Babies® Parent Educator in the Western Mass region. With a background in K–12 education and social justice, I’m deeply committed to supporting birthers and families from all backgrounds, cultures, genders, and identities with a caring, collaborative approach. I approach every birth as a special experience and will listen to and adapt to your needs.
