Hi, I’m Natasa. I’m a PNSW and postpartum doula with over 17 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum, newborn care, and all the real-life things that happen once a baby comes home. My approach is calm, practical, and very much based on what your family actually needs that day. Some days that means caring for baby so you can rest, shower, eat, or just have a minute to yourself. Other days it may mean helping with feeding routines, diapering, soothing, naps, baby laundry, bottles, or resetting the baby areas so the day feels a little less chaotic. I’m not there to judge your home, tell you you’re doing it wrong, or make postpartum feel like another thing you have to manage perfectly. I’m there to step in, support you, and help make the day feel more manageable. A big part of how I support families is by noticing where things are getting stuck and helping create simple routines or systems that make sense for your home. Nothing fancy. Nothing overcomplicated. Just practical support that helps your household run a little smoother while everyone is adjusting. Postpartum can feel like a lot, especially when you’re tired, healing, feeding, learning your baby, and trying to keep the house from staging a small rebellion. My goal is to be another capable, calm person in the room so you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Natasa helped turn one of the most overwhelming times in our lives into one of the most memorable. We felt supported, gained confidence as parents, and finally had the reassurance that we were doing okay.

Hi, I’m Jess, founder of Millie & Marin Newborn & Infant Care, providing warm, attentive support to families throughout Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Waterdown, Ancaster and Hamilton. I specialize in overnight newborn and infant care, giving parents the opportunity to rest while knowing their baby is being lovingly and attentively cared for just steps away. During the night, I respond to your baby’s needs, support feeding and burping, change diapers, soothe and settle baby back to sleep, and carefully document feeds, diaper changes and sleep stretches so you know exactly how the night went. My care extends beyond baby, too. I believe supporting a newborn means supporting the whole family. While your household sleeps, I work quietly and wash and prepare bottles, tidy baby-related items and help reset your space for the morning. I tidy and stock supplies in the nursery. I also offer complimentary concierge support for small baby essentials such as diapers or wipes when needed. I offer this service because I know very well that sometimes you just need that last minute thing and I want to support you in any way I possibly can. I bring more than 20 years of professional caregiving experience, including a nursing background, along with extensive experience supporting children and families. My approach with newborns is responsive, gentle and individualized — I follow your baby rather than expecting your baby to fit into a rigid routine. I’m comfortable caring for singletons and twins and offer both ongoing packages and flexible hourly care. Most importantly, I understand what a privilege it is to be invited into a family’s home during such a vulnerable and exhausting season. My goal is for you to go to bed knowing your baby is in capable, caring hands — and wake feeling a little more rested and supported. Warmly, Jess 🤍 Millie & Marin Newborn & Infant Care

Hi, I’m Patice, a full-spectrum doula serving Toronto and the GTA. Nine years of supporting individuals and families has taught me every person comes into pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with their own story, priorities, and idea of what support should look like. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to doula care. My role is to understand what matters most to you and adapt my support as your needs and preferences evolve. Whether we’re talking through options during a prenatal visit, adjusting to unexpected changes in plans, finding ways to make labour more comfortable, or simply making space for a pause in the middle of it all, my goal is always the same: to help you feel informed, respected, and confident in the decisions you’re making. Good support isn’t about taking over. Support can be active in quiet ways. Sometimes it looks like breaking down options when things feel uncertain, so you can decide what feels right for you. Sometimes it looks like stepping back so you can focus on what your body and instincts are telling you. And sometimes it is simply making the space feel steady enough that you can pause and decide what comes next. The right support doesn’t draw attention to itself. It helps you feel more capable of navigating what is in front of you. Clients often describe me as calm, practical, and easy to talk to.

Mimi made THE difference between a potentially distressing and re-traumatizing birth experience, and a powerful memory I can look back on with pride and joy for the rest of my life. I personally had planned for a home birth but ended up needing to be in the hospital due to PROM. Mimi knew and cared about my birth plan and helped me achieve a birth that still felt as close as possible to the type of birth I was hoping to have. She also really honed in on the type of emotional and physical support that I needed in a very personalized way. My midwives were very impressed with her knowledge and presence, and literally told me to "recommend her to everyone" so that's what I am doing. Thank you Mimi!

I cannot recommend Isabel Nantaba enough as a birth and postpartum doula. From the moment we met her, she brought a sense of calm, confidence, and compassion that immediately put me at ease. During labor, Isabel provided unwavering support, intuitive guidance, and gentle encouragement, helping me feel empowered and informed every step of the way. Her care didn’t end after birth; she was a constant source of support during the postpartum period. She helped me navigate the early days with practical advice, emotional reassurance, and hands-on assistance, making the transition to parenthood so much smoother and less overwhelming. Isabel’s approach is both professional and deeply caring. She truly listens, adapts to your needs, and creates a nurturing environment for you and your family. I am a birth worker since 2012, I have provided a variety of services in a variety of settings around the world. I am located in Toronto, Canada, but I am available to travel for minimum one month commitments. I have worked in Macau & Hong Kong, Manila, Nairobi, Vancouver, and Guadalajara, and have a global perspective on birth physiology and traditions. I provide trauma-informed, and culturally safe care, be it education, lactation support, birth and postpartum doula services, or midwifery care. I’m available as a midwife only where a license isn’t required. My approach is very collaborative—rather than “save” you from unsafe practitioners, I prefer to work with you comprehensively in the prenatal period to be sure you have the environment you need for a peaceful and satisfying (physiologic, if possible) birth. My years and depth of experience and knowledge sets me apart from most locally-focused doulas, so I tend to work well with expats and globe-trotters like myself. My happy place is home in Ontario in the near North, at the cottage that has been a part of my family’s experience for 100+ years. I love all animals but especially dogs, and I ADORE drinking coffee and discussing big ideas.

If you want the best, hire Christy. Where to begin? We LOVED working with Christy. If you’re reading these reviews wondering if you should have her as your doula, you definitely should. Our experience with Christy was nothing short of extraordinary. After the birth, I described Christy to my husband as our angel - as it felt that she magically appeared and blended in, giving just the right level of support and guidance, without being overbearing or intrusive. Her presence felt very natural and she completely put myself and my husband at ease. Christy played a pivotal role in helping me establish breastfeeding, which really helped set us up for success with feeding, and having her there to help with this immediately after the birth was invaluable. After our daughter was born, Christy continued to check in with us, and we felt extremely well looked after. She is clearly an expert both in caring for mothers in the postpartum period, but also in caring for newborns, and her years of experience meant we felt in very capable hands. Her dedication to postpartum care is unmatched, and her deep understanding of the emotional and physical needs of both the birthing person and their partner is truly remarkable. Christy’s passion for what she does shines through in every interaction, and her knowledge in perinatal care is both comforting and empowering. I give Christy my highest recommendation – any family would be very lucky to have her as part of their parenting journey!

We’re so lucky to get to work with Jess! She’s been beyond amazing with our 3 month old, who she’s been caring for since he was 7 weeks old. Jess is caring, kind, thorough and thoughtful and we feel very safe and comfortable with our son in her care. 💓🙏 would recommend her to anyone.

September 2026

Jess has been an incredible support to me over the past four months, and we still have a few more months left with her. She has truly been such an important part of my postpartum journey. As a single mom with three boys under the age of four, having Jess provide overnight support has made such a huge difference. She helps with everything from laundry and keeping my home tidy to caring for my baby throughout the night, and she is always willing to lend a hand with my older boys as well. Her support has given me something that is truly priceless during these exhausting months, the ability to get some much needed sleep and feel like I have someone in my corner. She is also stepping in to provide care so I’m able to go away for a few days, which gives me even more peace of mind knowing my children are in such capable and caring hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jess to any new parent, You truly can’t put a price on having the right support during the postpartum period, and I’m so grateful to have her with us. ❤️

Rose cared for our newborn son during a six-week live-in assignment, beginning when he was only about one week old. From the beginning, she was warm, patient, dependable, and very attentive to his needs. She supported us with feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep routines, bottle care, newborn organization, and detailed daily care logs. Rose brought a calm and reassuring presence into our home and treated our baby with genuine care and affection. She helped us establish a consistent routine, and by the end of her time with us, our baby had made wonderful progress with his nighttime sleep. Having her support gave us confidence and allowed us to get much-needed rest during those early weeks. We were very pleased with the care Rose provided and would confidently recommend her to families looking for a knowledgeable, loving, and reliable Newborn Care Specialist.
