I am a birth and postpartum doula who serves the greater Los Angeles area. I have been a doula sine 2011 and am also a lactation educator and mother of three.

I cannot speak highly enough of Eldrid's invaluable support during my postpartum recovery. After my C-section, she became an indispensable part of our household, seamlessly managing tasks that allowed me to focus on healing and bonding with my newborn. Eldrid not only cooked delicious and nutritious meals that nourished our family (by the way, she makes the BEST lactation chocolate chip cookies and tapioca pudding), but she also ensured our home was consistently tidy and organized. Her attention to detail in laundry and housekeeping meant I could rest without worry. The soothing massages she provided for my feet, shoulders, neck, and hands were incredibly therapeutic and helped relieve the tension that comes with new motherhood. Beyond the physical care, Eldrid went above and beyond by taking expert care of our baby, allowing me precious moments to nap, shower, or simply take a solo walk for much-needed self-care. Eldrid's understanding and compassionate demeanor made me feel supported and understood during those overwhelming first weeks as a new mom. I remember when I had my first experience with breast engorgement. I was terrified and texted Eldrid, and she immediately knew the fix and brought over some cabbage leaves to help manage the pain. Eldrid's dedication to both my baby's well-being and my own was evident in every interaction. She listened attentively to my concerns and offered invaluable guidance and reassurance. Her nurturing presence not only eased the transition into motherhood but also fostered a sense of confidence and empowerment in my new role. I am profoundly grateful to Eldrid for her unwavering support and expertise during a pivotal time in our lives. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care have left an indelible mark on our family's journey. I wholeheartedly recommend Eldrid to any parent seeking compassionate and knowledgeable postpartum care. My family misses her greatly!

I'm Saleemah and I am a mother of 2, a boy and girl. Working under my mother who was a midwife, and having my own children influenced me to take the journey into becoming a Birth Doula and Lactation consultant. Helping mothers through their pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding journey is my passion.

I am extremely grateful to have had such an amazing doula by my side as I prepared for the birth of my first child. As a first-time mother, there were so many emotions, questions, and uncertainties that came with preparing for this experience. From the very beginning, she made me and my family feel comfortable, heard, and supported. One of the things that stood out to me most was how seriously she took her craft. She was knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and intentional in the way she supported us. She took the time to explain things, answer our questions, listen to our concerns, and make sure we felt prepared rather than overwhelmed. She also did an amazing job creating comfort not only for me, but for my partner as well. She understood that having a baby is a major transition for everyone involved and made sure my loved ones also felt included, informed, and comfortable. Her ability to create a peaceful and supportive environment made such a difference in our experience. What I appreciated most was that her care did not stop after I had my baby. She made a genuine effort to check on me postpartum and see how I was adjusting physically and emotionally. Having someone remind me that I was supported and that my transition into motherhood mattered was incredibly meaningful. I would highly recommend her to any expecting mother, especially a first-time mom who may be looking for someone who will provide genuine support and create a comfortable, positive experience for both her and her family. I am so thankful that she was part of such an important chapter in our lives, and I will always appreciate the care she gave us.

Hiring Kristen as our doula was the best thing I did for my pregnancy and birth. She made herself available throughout the final few months of my pregnancy via countless texts and phone calls prepared to answer all the wild questions I had about any symptoms or feelings. When I finally went into labor, none of us knew I’d be in it for a whopping 60 hours before my son was in my arms. I could go on and on about all the things she did to help get my son in an optimal position (there were many) but at the end of the day, she was just there for me. There for me when I thought I’d be having an unmedicated birth center birth. There for me when we had to have a c-section instead. And there for me after while I processed it all. She is amazing and I’d hire her again and again and again.

Hi, I’m Katie—an IBCLC dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey. These experiences deepen my understanding that every family’s path is different, and every goal is valid. I truly love being welcomed into people’s homes and consider the postpartum period a sacred space. My approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting families exactly where they are—whether they’re navigating challenges, exploring their feeding options, or simply seeking reassurance. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snowboarding, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my little crew, hopefully outside, having an adventure!

I used Katie for the birth of my first son and my second son. If I were to have a third child, I would use her again. She is knowledgeable, a calming presence and was supportive in the exact ways I needed her to be for both births. I am so happy with how my labor and delivery went each time and I feel like Katie played a huge role in me being able to feel that way. I would recommend katie highly to anyone looking for a doula.
