Annie is so great, thoughtful and resourceful! She is knowledgeable in her field and any question I had that she didn't have the answer to, she was willing to look into it! When it came time to deliver, she remained calm and helped me focus on my breathing. We got to the hospital when I was already 9 centimeters. Annie talked through the things the doctors were telling me and my husband. I could feel confident after that. Now that baby is home, Annie has kept up with us, always checking in, and willing to come visit. I also appreciate her personal training background. Once I'm cleared for exercise, I'm looking forward to Annie's assistance into getting back in shape. Thank you Annie for all that you are!

There are people who do a job, and then there are people who change your life. Dessira is the latter. She entered our lives when our son was born premature and jaundiced. Dessira helped our baby gain weight and, at the same time, provided calm encouragement that helped us become confident parents. That gift is priceless, and I will never forget it. She returned to us when our son was two and stayed until he was six. During those years, she helped us build a nutrition and activity plan. This kept him energized, curious, and challenged--without empty calories or screens. The positive effects of this plan are too many to list here, but the best was his dramatically improved sleep schedule. My son had a mildly rocky transition from nursery school to a TK/K mix to a TK-only class. At the time, I worked 60-70-hour workweeks and cannot overstate the comfort of knowing my son was safe, stimulated, and thriving with Dessira during the day. At night, I was able to be fully present with my son because Dessira handled housework and other distractions that would have taken away from that precious time. She did this without being asked. I'm grateful to her because if she hadn't, I wouldn't have thought of it. Dessira is exceptional with infants and children of all ages. She is calm under pressure because she has a deep well of knowledge and experience to draw from. She prioritizes safety -- the safety of their bodies, of course, and also their minds and hearts. She values imagination and curiosity, and she brings genuine warmth, humor, and fun to every day. Dessira is unique in that she cares for the whole family as a single ecosystem, where the health of all depends on the health of each. She is a wonderful listener, and as she learns what matters to you -- as parents, as people -- she reflects that back to you with encouragement and practical creativity. When I said, "Well, ideally we'd do this, but that's probably unrealistic," her response was, "Maybe so -- but let's talk about it for a minute, just to see." Most of the time, with a bit of creativity and brainstorming, we made it happen. When we didn't, I felt supported and seen, which I found to be equally valuable. It makes a big difference in my life when a smart, energetic person is on my team. I'm better at my job, I'm a better partner, and I'm a better mom. If you are lucky enough to get Dessira in your corner, I am genuinely happy for you and your family to have the kind of support that will enrich your lives.

I’m a travel ready (anywhere in the USA - domestic/international travel) CACHE Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Postpartum Doula with experience caring for newborns since 1996. My specialty is helping babies settle into their own predictable rhythms through responsive, individualized care, safe sleep hygiene, and gentle, developmentally appropriate sleep conditioning. I combine decades of hands-on experience with evidence-based newborn care and parent education, with the goal of supporting healthy sleep while helping parents feel confident caring for their baby.

As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

I am a Newborn Care Specialist with more than 20 years of professional childcare experience, including extensive overnight newborn care and recent experience supporting families with newborn twins and premature infants. I provide calm, attentive care throughout the night, including feeding, diapering, soothing, establishing healthy sleep habits, and keeping detailed records so parents feel informed and confident. My philosophy is that every baby and family is unique. I take a gentle, responsive, and family centered approach, following each baby’s cues while respecting the parents’ preferences and goals. My role is not only to provide excellent care for your newborn, but also to offer reassurance, consistency, and nonjudgmental support during this important transition, helping the entire family feel rested, supported, and secure.

We feel so lucky to have had her help during those first few months with our baby. She was with us every night for the first 4.5 months and has continued to help us whenever we need her. From the beginning, she was incredibly reliable, always on time, professional, pleasant, and so experienced with babies. As new parents, it meant so much to have someone we could completely trust caring for our baby at night. We always felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. She is dependable, kind, and just a genuinely lovely person to have in your home. She became such an important part of our lives during those early months, and we are so grateful for her. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for someone experienced and truly trustworthy to care for their baby.

Hi! I’m Rechelle, a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist based in Long Beach, CA. Growing up in Victorville, an underserved community with limited access to OB/GYNs and specialized care, shaped my passion for maternal health and advocacy. My journey into postpartum support began with an internship at Black Infant Health, where I saw firsthand the impact of culturally relevant care, especially for Black families facing higher risks and poor health outcomes. I trained with the DNT Network, a program that prepares doulas to provide high-quality, evidence-based postpartum and newborn care, because I value relationship-centered, accurate, and accessible care for every family. My background in public health, combined with personal experience supporting my brother who has special needs, has shown me the gaps families face and inspired my mission to close them. As a doula, my philosophy is simple: every family deserves compassionate, personalized support. I work closely with families to provide postpartum care in ways that are grounded, practical, and nurturing. Whether it’s feeding, soothing, sleep, light household tasks, or emotional support, my focus is on practical care that makes your nights easier. My mission is to reduce maternal health disparities while honoring the unique needs of each family I serve.

Rechelle was such a blessing during my birth journey. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. She brought so much comfort and reassurance, not just for me but for my family too. Her presence was calming, her knowledge was grounding, and I I highly recommend her to any family looking for a dedicated and loving birth worker.

Hello, I’m Kathy, and I’m honored to walk alongside families as they journey into parenthood.** Becoming a mother is one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences a woman can go through. It can also be overwhelming, emotional, and filled with uncertainty. I believe no mother should have to navigate that journey feeling alone. As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, my heart is in supporting mothers and families through the many transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and bringing a new baby home. I am here to listen, encourage, reassure, and provide a calm and caring presence when you need it most. My educational background in Psychology, with an emphasis in Family and Marriage Therapy, has deepened my understanding of the emotional and relational changes that can occur during this important season of life. The arrival of a baby changes more than a family’s daily routine—it can change how we see ourselves, how we connect with our partners, and how we navigate our new roles as parents. I bring this understanding into my doula work by creating a safe, compassionate space where mothers and families can feel heard, supported, and understood. During pregnancy and birth, I support you in preparing for the experience you envision while respecting that birth can sometimes take an unexpected path. Whether your birth plan changes or unfolds exactly as you hoped, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported. After your baby arrives, my role is to help you find your rhythm as a new family. I provide practical and emotional support as you recover, learn your baby, navigate feeding and newborn care, adjust to new routines, and experience the many emotions that come with motherhood. I believe that caring for the mother is an essential part of caring for the family. My philosophy is simple: I don't believe in telling you how to be a mother. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening to what you need, and walking beside you as you discover your own way. There is no perfect birth, no perfect mother, and no single path into parenthood. There is only "your" journey—and I would be honored to be part of it. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, supported, and confident as you move from pregnancy to birth and into the beautiful, sometimes messy, and deeply transformative journey of motherhood. You care for so many already. Let me help care for you.l.

Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my site and for your interest in my services. I would love to give you a little info about me so you can better understand who I am and how I can help you along your journey in parenthood. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized how underprepared I was for labor. I looked back on my experience unhappy with the things that were ‘done to me,’ rather than being able to make educated decisions based on evidence and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to be more prepared and have a completely different birth experience. I did a lot of research on evidence-based practices and created an ideal vision for what I wanted this next birth to look like. After my dream birth, I immediately felt justified for wanting more for myself AND my baby. I had a newfound sense of empowerment as a mother. Ever since, I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing birth community to help other families feel this same joy. My goal is to provide gentle education, encouragement, and support in whichever ways you need it, while tending to your family’s unique needs during this beautiful time in your life. I am a trained Doula through DONA International. I also have extensive training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I welcome all inquiries. Please use my Contact page to send me a message about what you’re looking for and how I can help you. I look forward to speaking with you!

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.

Hello Everyone! My name is Donna Moragne-Hanson. I'm a licensed midwife in Los Angeles, CA providing well-woman, pre-conception and prenatal/postpartum midwifery care. I also provide doula care, childbirth education and lactation support from the privacy of my in-home birthing studio. Here you & your family are provided with everything you need for a safe, comfortable and peaceful birth. Receive 24 Golden Hours of maternal & newborn postpartum care as you enjoy 3 homemade meals prepared to restore, center and balance your body before journeying home with your new babe. I offer specialty services such as yoni steams, healing herbal baths, Ala-carte Postpartum packages and the "Closing of the Bones" ceremony, bringing spiritual closure to your birth. For me, establishing trust with my client is the most important and fundamental. My practice is built on nurturing trust and learning to let go of the things we allow to interfere with trust. I want to encourage trusting in yourself; trusting in your body (and the natural process of giving birth); trusting in your baby (and their own divinely written birth story); trusting in humanity (and the world your baby is born into) and trusting in our partnership, as client and midwife. I believe, "when a woman is heard, she is seen; when she is seen, she has a voice"; and as her midwife I am compelled to encourage her to honor that voice; her voice. In this way I believe I am blessed with an opportunity to fulfill my role as supporter, facilitator, educator and client advocate; the ultimate calling of a midwife. For me, describing the process of birth is like trying to describe a miracle; and walking with a woman as she becomes a mother is even more profound…I am beyond words. Donna, LM, CPM

We feel so lucky that Maria has been part of our family for the past three months helping take care of our son, Cal, as a nighttime Newborn Care Specialist. She has been absolutely amazing, and we truly couldn’t have gotten through the newborn trenches without her! From day one, Maria has been so loving, caring, patient, and attentive with him. She has such a natural way with babies and somehow always knows exactly what he needs. It’s been so sweet to watch the bond they’ve developed, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for him. Maria has also been an incredible resource for us as first-time parents. She has so much knowledge and experience, but she never made us feel like we were doing anything wrong or asked too many questions. She was always happy to share advice, help us figure things out, and give us confidence when we needed it. She brought such a calm, reassuring presence into our home, which made a huge difference during those long and exhausting newborn nights. And somehow, thanks in large part to Maria, our son is already sleeping through the night! She helped us establish great routines and sleep habits while still giving him so much love and attention. We honestly don’t know how we would have survived without her. Beyond how amazing she is with our son, Maria is just a wonderful person to have around. She is dependable, thoughtful, kind, trustworthy, hardworking, and incredibly easy to have in our home. She always went above and beyond and made our lives so much easier. We always felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care, which is truly priceless. Maria has been such a special part of this chapter for our family. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us. She is truly one of those people you feel incredibly lucky to have found, and we would recommend her in a heartbeat to any new parents. Any family would be SO lucky to have Maria!

Gina is an amazing doula. Her humility, caring and warm energy makes her feel like family. Gina has been with me for two of my pregnancies, one of which resulted in a miscarriage. However God blessed me with my rainbow baby and Gina was exceptional both times. She is knowledgeable and understanding. She listens and most importantly she advocates for you. Anytime I was unsure or anxious Gina stepped in where she could. She will always be my doula. Gina not only are you a doula, you are family and any woman would be blessed to have you as a doula. She makes sure you don’t feel alone and that you have everything you need during your pregnancy. Whether that’s emotional support or information. Don’t hesitate! Make Gina your doula. She will always be mine. Thank you again Gina.

Helena is such a loving and caring person and the best support our family could ask for! We asked her to help us sleep train our 6 month old baby who was waking up frequently during the night, and she did her magic and taught him how to fall asleep independently in only 4 days! Helena is an exceptional professional, she listened to our needs and tailored her approach to what we needed. She was with us every step of the way and we could not have done this without her! We are so thankful for her!

First, I want to say, I never knew what a doula was or is. So I am writing this from the bottom of my heart to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support, care, and guidance Nicole provided during my granddaughter's labor and delivery at the hospital. As a grandmother watching a loved one welcome a new baby, seeing her go through such an intense experience can bring a mix of worry and hope. My first time meeting or talking to Nicole was at the hospital. The moment she stepped into the room, she had a calming presence sbout her. When asked questions, she spoke with reassuring words, and expert gentle touch brought an immense sense of peace to our entire family. Nicole's anticipated her needs, advocated for her comfort, and held space for her with such profound grace, professionalism, and warmth. Nicole truly did a beautiful job, and watching her work was a blessing. Nicole helped make this momentous arrival a peaceful and empowering experience that we will always cherish. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication, your compassionate heart, and the wonderful care you gave to my granddaughter.
