Hello, my name is Breanna Calder and I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula as well as Reiki Master located in south Keizer, OR. My interest in birth work started when my own children were born and I have been enamored with the magic that is childbirth ever since. It is my highest purpose to serve and uplift others. I love getting to know my clients on a deep level and learning how best to support them, catering my service to their needs. Coming from a background of Public Health and educating new parents on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood, I have strong roots in providing care and support new families need to succeed. I believe women have the tools to birth built into us and believe in empowering women as such. In my free time I love to hike with my dog, eat yummy food with my husband, and most of all, laugh with my children.

I support Women and Families in home and family births as a Traditional Birthkeeper. This means I do not serve at hospitals or birth centers, but I am available for one-on-one Birth Coaching for those in need of solid support. I serve from Pregnancy to Postpartum with an open heart, ready to serve on your terms.

Hola! I’m Micaela López, a doula with over 7 years of experience walking alongside families on their sacred birthing journey. Before stepping into birth work, I spent 15 years as an educator in both public and private schools. In 2018, I followed the call of my soul into the path of birth and trained as a birth doula with Doula Love in Portland. Since then, I’ve deepened my practice through midwifery assistant training with the Center for Indigenous Midwifery in Washington and a transformative year-long apprenticeship with midwife Cosima. These experiences have gifted me both modern and ancestral tools to support women with presence, compassion, and care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is my honor to walk beside you—holding space, offering guidance, and honoring the sacredness of every step on your birthing journey.

Hi! I live in Springfield Oregon and I’m a mom of 4 and grandma of 2. I’ve wanted to be a doula since before I even knew the name of what the job was. I had assumed you needed a degree and/or medical training to be a birth advocate and as soon I found out exactly how to become a doula I did! I completed my doula and postpartum training in April 2024 through SMC Doulas in Portland and it was a wonderful experience! I was a 20 year old single mom when I had my oldest daughter and I birthed alone, just myself, the nurse and my dr and it was an experience that I never wanted to repeat or have anyone I knew have. I will support you, advocate with you for your needs and desires and be there as little or as much as you need. I will also be there for you postpartum holding your baby so you can shower, washing laundry, doing dishes, making meals, you tell me what you need and I can accommodate you. I can meet with you virtually over zoom or in person. My goal is to keep my doula business small and basically be on call when you need me taking only a couple clients at a time. If you wake up at 3am and need to talk I can accommodate that. Being pregnant, giving birth, having a newborn and being a brand new parent all can be anxiety producing and at the same the happiest times of your life! I understand that completely!!

I’m passionate about supporting families through the postpartum experience, whether it’s offering mental health guidance, sharing infant care tips, or providing help with anything else in between. My goal is to give you reliable resources and well-researched information to make the journey feel less overwhelming. I’m dedicated to empowering moms and helping them feel confident and successful in this important phase of life. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors. Nature is a huge priority in my life, and I love sharing adventures with my two kids. Whether it’s hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, or paddleboarding—we try it all! Building meaningful friendships and creating a sense of community is also important to me. I believe that living your best life requires the love and support of many.

I am a trauma-informed and gender affirming birth worker in Marion County, Oregon, providing a range of parenting support packages. I am a firm believer in parenting intuition and that each of us already holds many of the answers that we need. But during pregnancy and childbirth, there are so many new ideas and choices to consider that it can feel incredibly overwhelming. I excel in helping you explore all of your options, focusing in on what really matters to you, and preparing you to feel confident in your parenting role.

In May of 2022 Camille became a certified Labor Doula and then added a certification in Postpartum and Infant Care in February of 2023. She is excited to be living her dream of supporting mamas and their families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as a doula. She lives in Yamhill County, Oregon with her new baby boy, her husband, and their mini Aussie, Remi.

Advocacy, empowerment, and loving kindness are at the heart of what has drawn me to practice. I believe every birthing person, of all backgrounds, deserves to feel confident, safe, and held as they bring new life into the world, are becoming parents, or are making the decision not to become a parent. I am passionate about being an ally to and advocate for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks in order to create the safest and loving space for all.
