I'm Sam, long time birth nerd ➡️ new Catholic / Christian doula in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. I support families in Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo and the surrounding areas. I'm Madriella Certified and I'm working on my DONA international certification right now. I'm excited to support families of all shapes and sizes through this incredible (and sometimes spooky) phase of life ❤️‍🔥 About me: I'm a Catholic convert circa 2022 and I had my first baby, lil Gwen in February 2025 💞 My hobbies include being an absolute homebody, crocheting and reading, gaming with my husband, saving all my money until I'm blessed enough to venture out into the world. (Most recently, Japan in 2023 🌎) My mission is to be a steadfast advocate for women, ensuring they know they are not alone on this incredible journey. Together, we can navigate the joys and challenges of childbirth, guided by love, faith, and an unwavering belief in each mother’s unique capabilities.

Sam was absolutely incredible. I planned to have a homebirth and ended up laboring very long (60+ hours) before we transfered to a hospital. She was there in all the toughest times and was constantly on call & ready to arrive when needed. She was the perfect balance of comfort, support, and strength that helped me stay confident in my laboring. When it came time to make a decision to transfer, she helped talk me through options and process our decision. she was a total blessing to our family ??

꩜ Mother Manitou Doula Services: Birth support that respects science, nature, and mother's intuition ꩜ Hi, I'm Steph, a birth doula and mother of two based in Manitou Springs, CO. I am currently working with a couple of clients while finishing up birth doula certification with Childbirth International (estimated completion December 2026). I do not plan to take on any additional clients until my certification is complete, so the pricing shown here is based on the experience I am currently gaining and my official CBI certification (which is pending). My services are still low-cost compared to many area doulas. I am happy to offer discounted rates while I continue to establish myself! Keep an eye on this page, as I will reopen and update my books as soon as my certification is official :) A little more about me... I studied evolutionary biology as a young adult and was planning a career shift into healthcare at the time that I became pregnant with my first child. Giving birth changed my path in life – and not just because it made me a mother. I realized how much expectant parents stand to gain from continuous, informed support during childbirth (research supports this). I knew then that my background in evolutionary biology and health sciences had come together just so that I could support pregnant, laboring, and postpartum parents. Today, I am proud to serve growing families in Manitou/Colorado Springs (and surrounding areas) as a birth doula.

Recent review

Steph was my birth doula for my first birth! My husband and I were extremely happy and grateful for her support with everything. The prenatal meetings allowed us to prepare a detailed birth plan, practice pain tolerance techniques, and informed us on what to expect during the birthing process. The day my water broke, Steph was responsive and quick to meet us at the hospital. She provided so much emotional support during the birth, performed amazing hip squeezes, and assisted during the pushing! She worked extremely well with the hospital staff and made my experience so special. Following the birth, she met with us to debrief and provided us with details she wrote down during the birth, which I will get to share with my son one day when he's older! Thank you so much Steph!

**Bringing Peace, Serenity, & Calm from Preconception Through Pregnancy, Birth & Recovery** Hi, I’m Crystal, a holistic doula, perinatal massage therapist, educator, and guide supporting individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and recovery. With over a decade of experience, I offer whole-person care that helps you feel calm, informed, deeply cared for, and confident in the choices you make along the way. I believe these experiences are about more than reaching the next milestone. Whether you're preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility or infertility, growing your family, preparing for birth, or recovering from pregnancy, your body, mind, and emotional well-being deserve thoughtful support through the transition. My approach brings together bodywork, education, doula care, and personalized guidance to meet you where you are. Some clients come to me for physical relief or support preparing their bodies for what's ahead. Others need help sorting through information, understanding their options, preparing for birth or parenthood, or simply having a calm, knowledgeable person beside them while plans change. There isn't one "right" way to move through fertility, pregnancy, birth, or recovery. My role isn't to fit you into a philosophy or tell you what you should choose. It's to help you understand your options, honor your values, care for your body, and create more peace in whatever season you're navigating. *Because peace of mind comes from understanding your options, not being told what to do.*

Recent review

Crystal was our doula for both of our children. I could not have made it through two unmedicated labors without her. She was an advocate, a guiding voice, a gentle hand, and knew exactly when to interject humor and empathy when they were needed most.

Hi, I’m Bria, the doula behind Anthea Doula Care. I support families as they prepare for one of life’s most powerful transitions! My goal is to help you and your partner feel informed, calm, and deeply supported throughout pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum. I believe everyone should feel like someone is in their corner. I will be there just for you, no one else. I have been interested in becoming a doula for a long time. Since high school, I thought about becoming a midwife, however my life did not go in that direction. I met my husband, Dennis, in 2011. He was in the military, and we moved around often. After having kids of my own in 2020, I knew I wanted to be a birth worker. I, personally, had a hard time adjusting to becoming a mom and I would love to support anyone going through this journey. I did not have a doula for either of my births, but I could have used one. My first birth experience was fast and I thought I knew what to expect, I did not! It was a shock, and I needed someone who knew what was happening and what was a normal part of labor. I needed someone to tell me to relax and exhale. My second birth was also fast, but my breathing was under control and it made the biggest difference. I will be there with you through it all and we’ll exhale, together.

A Wonderful Postpartum Doula Bria was such a wonderful postpartum doula! She provided great emotional support during those early weeks and was always willing to help with light household cleaning, which made such a difference. Most importantly, my baby was very comfortable with her, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the support and care she provided during such an important season for our family! I recommend her to any family looking for support:)

Hi, I’m Liz Derry Cox, CPM, LM. I’ve been a nurse since 1997 and a licensed midwife and DONA trained doula since 2010, and it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk alongside women and families during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I believe pregnancy and birth are normal, healthy life events, and that women deserve care that is both evidence-based and deeply personal. Every family has a unique story, and I strive to make sure each client feels heard, respected, informed, and supported every step of the way. My approach combines the wisdom of midwifery with years of clinical experience. I take time to truly listen, answer questions thoroughly, and help families make informed decisions that align with their values. Whether you’re planning your first baby or have given birth before, my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that builds confidence rather than fear. I believe that when women are supported physically, emotionally, and educationally, they are more likely to experience a healthier pregnancy, a positive birth, and a smoother transition into parenthood. It is an honor to be trusted with such an important season of life, and I look forward to supporting your family on that journey. I intentionally limit the total number of families I serve each month across all of my services—including midwifery, doula support, and pregnancy coaching. This allows me to provide unhurried, relationship-based care, be readily available when questions arise, and truly get to know each family I have the privilege of serving. My goal is for you to never feel like just another client, but to feel known, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout your journey.

Liz was absolutely amazing as my midwife during the birth of my first child. Her calm presence and genuine care made the entire experience feel safe and supported. I’ve reached out to her many times since then for guidance on pregnancy, postpartum, nutrition, etc., and she always offers her wisdom with warmth and honesty. In this world where mothers often struggle to feel heard, she has created a special space of comfort, understanding, and compassion ❤️

¡Hola! My name is Karen and I am a fierce advocate for reproductive justice. I love Sistersong’s definition of reproductive justice, which is, “the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.” Therefore, I seek to support people within their journey, honoring their bodily autonomy and rights, which is why it is important for me to support birthing people, those seeking to release their pregnancy, and parents wanting to create safe and nurturing environments. I am a Spanish-speaking birth and postpartum doula who is passionate about making sure the birthing person is feeling empowered, liberated, and heard throughout their pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. I am a medicaid-approved birth doula. I am also an abortion companion and will provide you with unbiased, nonjudgemental support and unconditional love. I believe wholeheartedly that your body knows how and what to do, and that you know YOUR body the best, so I will support you in whatever YOU feel is best for you. I know you have a voice and I value that, so I will advocate WITH you. Birth and the transition to parenthood, as well as the postpartum after birth or an abortion (spontaneous or medical) is a mental, physical, and spiritual shift, so I approach my work with clients in a holistic and trauma-informed way. To be a part of your journey is an honor and a privilege and I will treat it as such when you let me hear your story, enter your home, meet your family, and be a part of a transformational moment in your life.

Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

Hi, I’m Katie—an IBCLC dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey. These experiences deepen my understanding that every family’s path is different, and every goal is valid. I truly love being welcomed into people’s homes and consider the postpartum period a sacred space. My approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting families exactly where they are—whether they’re navigating challenges, exploring their feeding options, or simply seeking reassurance. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snowboarding, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my little crew, hopefully outside, having an adventure!

Recent review

I am so glad that I found Katie! My partner and I initially hired her as a doula for the birth of our first baby, and while the birth did not go how we hoped (instead of a full term vaginal birth, she came a month early and was delivered via C-section), Katie was so helpful and supportive leading up to the birth, and came to the hospital to support us immediately after delivery as well, which helped immensely in feeling calmer during such a shocking experience. I had many challenges with breastfeeding, due to the pre-term birth, C-section delivery, and a tongue tie, so I decided to work with Katie as a lactation consultant postpartum as well. I am now at 6 months of breastfeeding and I honestly don't know if I would have made it this far without Katie's support. In addition to coming over for weighted feeds and help with positions and advice on topics ranging from breastfeeding in public to baby-wearing, Katie was always available to provide support when I was having breastfeeding-related meltdowns. She is so warm and understanding, always providing validation, gentle suggestions, and working with me in my specific circumstances to figure out how to balance my needs in the moment with my long-term breastfeeding goals. I'm so grateful to Katie and cannot recommend her enough!

I am Karee' (car)REE, ya' homegirl who just so happens to be, a full spectrum doula, energy healer, Level II Reiki Practitioner, and Womb Wellness practitioner. Also known as The Original Coochie Gangster of The OCG Collective. I've been blessed to do the work of the women—whether that's helping a woman reconnect to her womb through ceremony, supporting a mother and family through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, termination, and/or the grand transition we know as death. My mission is to hold a sacred space where I can support and empower individuals through the divinely guided transitions they choose to share with me.

Karee is the kind of doula who will go the extra mile to support you. I found her just two weeks before I gave birth, and she immediately made sure everything was ready for a safe and positive birth experience. Karee provided gentle, skilled massages before, during, and after birth, which made a world of difference in my comfort and recovery. She also included yoni steaming at no extra cost, such a generous and nurturing touch. I felt supported physically, mentally and emotionally by her. Leading up to birth, she helped me feel prepared and confident. During labor, she stayed right by my side, encouraging me and ensuring I was coping well. Karee held space for all of it, the pain, the overwhelming changes, and the flood of feelings that come with becoming a mother. She truly recognized what I was going through and provide words of wisdom. I have said enough so Karee is the one.

Hello! My name is Laura Rayford and I am a DONA certified birth doula in the Bay Area. I am passionate about guiding birthing people with nurturing and empowering support; working together towards your ideal birthing experience. I have completed two birth doula trainings. One through Hospital Friendly Doulas (which has allowed me to work as a volunteer doula at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, CA) and the other with Sierra Birth Institute (a training approved by DONA). Both provided me with invaluable information and numerous tools which allow me to confidently support birthing people and their families.Prior to working as a doula, I worked as a nanny for 15+ years. I have always been drawn to working closely with families and giving children the best possible care. For me, this naturally led me to doula work, helping new little people be brought into the world by their capable, brave and extraordinary birthing parent. I am excited and passionate about this work and deeply appreciate your considering inviting me into such a personal and powerful chapter of your life.

Recent review

Laura was an outstanding doula both during the prepartum phase and the delivery. She was very responsive and attentive to our needs. She has shown extreme dedication and passion for the process of delivery, and has provided useful education, all the way through birth. We are so thankful she was there to help us, and has made our delivery as stress free as possible.

Hi, I’m Mitzi — a Denver-based postpartum doula and wellness practitioner providing gentle, holistic daytime care rooted in tradition, compassion, and practical support. As a mother watching my own two sons grow, I know how fast and precious the early days are, and how much care parents need during this transformation. I specialize in traditional Mexican postpartum practices designed to restore warmth, energy, and strength after birth. My goal is to honor your physical healing, create a peaceful home environment, and help you feel confident throughout the fourth trimester. I take an intuitive, proactive approach so you never have to manage me or hand over a to-do list. Whether you need hands-on infant care, light household support, or traditional recovery rituals, I am here to ensure your entire family feels grounded, supported, and nurtured. Outside of supporting families, you’ll usually find me tending to my garden or reconnecting with my Hispanic roots, which deeply shapes how I care for others.

Mitzi was a great support during my postpartum period. She provided helpful advice, guided me through recovery, and made me feel comfortable asking questions. The rebozo massages and cupping therapy she did were relaxing and really helped my body recover. She was professional, attentive, and caring, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares for both mother and baby. My little one loved her too, she handled him with such gentleness and warmth. I would definitely recommend Mitzi to any new mother looking for supportive, thoughtful, and skilled postpartum care.

Working with our Cass was hands-down the best decision we made for our birth journey. From our very first meeting, her calm, reassuring presence completely eased our anxieties and helped us feel empowered. During the most intense moments of labor, she was an incredible coach and a steady rock for both my husband and me. She advocated beautifully for our birth plan, ensuring our choices were respected by the medical staff while guiding us through positions, induction processes, and pain relief with so much knowledge and gentleness. We truly felt like we had an expert and a dear friend by our side the entire time.
