I served in the Army as a medic and worked as a civilian ski patroller for many years before starting my own family. I have a long-standing love for fitness, travel and the outdoors. Aside from a passion for helping families in their birth and postpartum journeys, I strive to make a difference in my community. I am the proud wife of a soldier, and I am a mother. I have a little boy, twin girls and a pup. My pregnancy and births led me to be passionate about closing the gap in modern healthcare and putting the power of birth back into the hands of parents. After having kids of my own in 2020, I knew I wanted to be a birth worker. I, personally, had a hard time adjusting to becoming a mom and I would love to support anyone going through this journey. I did not have a doula for either of my births, but I could have used one. My first birth experience was fast and I thought I knew what to expect, I did not! It was a shock, and I needed someone who knew what was happening and what was a normal part of labor. I needed someone to tell me to relax and exhale.
