I’ve learned how much a calm, caring presence can make a difference during life’s biggest transitions. As a mom to four, I understand firsthand both the joys and the challenges of parenthood. I want you to know that you are safe and you are worthy and this is yours and your baby’s birth story! My goal is to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with compassion, reassurance, information and practical support, so you feel safe, informed, and never alone. It would be my honour to be part of your village as you welcome your little one or navigate your unique journey. My approach is rooted in evidence-based care, compassion, and respect for your unique journey. As a doula, I believe deeply in client-centered care—your voice, values, and choices lead the way. My role is to provide information, emotional support, and a steady presence so that you feel confident and cared for. I’m here to protect your autonomy, create space for your preferences, and help you feel grounded through all the transitions of birth and postpartum.

I have always loved babies. At family gatherings you would usually find me snuggling the newborns and entertaining the other kiddos. It wasn’t until I gave birth in 2015 that something shifted and I was living the postpartum experience myself. I realised that yes, I loved all things birth and I consider myself a certified birth nerd, but there was something missing. I had just had this huge transformation but everyone just wanted to hold my baby. Who was holding me? That part of your story matters. As a parent and birth worker I will walk along side you as you navigate this new version of you - and I am grateful to see it.

Hello, I am Anne-Marie and I’ve been a doula since 2018. I am certified in both birth and postpartum, however I specialize in postpartum. I do overnights and daytime shifts. I have also travelled and would love to help you on your vacation.
