Hello, I recently found out I’m pregnant and I’m about 5 weeks pregnant. I’m looking for a license midwife, I plan to have a water birth at home. I would like prenatal care throughout my pregnancy. I have TRICARE and would like to know if you accept TRICARE if not what’s your payment plan?

I would like a water birth either at home or at a birthing facility with a midwife and I plan I’m trying to bill most of it through my insurance

My birth plan can be simplified in a few words, natural, dim lighting with my husband catching our son and, supporting, squeezing, and coaching me as I need, and my mom (an RN) supporting me emotionally and physically as she can. As far as interventions for my baby and I, I do NOT want immunizations/shots or eye drops of any kind, no bath, no cord clamping/cutting, no placenta pulling or tugging. Birth plan= the LESS the better.

I would like to work with a doula who can provide guidance on evidence-based birthing techniques, outline what I should expect throughout labor and delivery, and offer coping strategies to make the experience easier and more manageable.
