Jessica D'Angelo

Hi! I'm Jessica and I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner. I founded HUDDLE to connect with families for pediatric and postpartum support. We offer in-home night nurses (all Registered Nurses), in-home and virtual lactation support, virtual pediatric telehealth, and virtual postpartum and family mental health counseling. I love connecting with families and supporting them through all of the ups and downs of parenthood. My company is small, and I will be your first point of contact from your discovery call to all of your 2am baby questions.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Huddle when we were seeking a night nurse. From the beginning, Jessica’s professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication immediately gave us confidence in our decision to hire her. She was warm, reliable, knowledgeable, and incredibly caring with our newborn. Jessica’s background as a nurse practitioner was especially reassuring as we were monitoring our 3 week old for potential illness. She was attentive to every detail, excellent at soothing and settling him, and genuinely caring with both our newborn and our older toddler. One thing we especially appreciated was the detailed log Jessica sent us every morning documenting feeds, sleep, diaper changes, and how the night went. It allowed us to wake up feeling completely informed and like we hadn’t missed a beat overnight, while still getting the rest we desperately needed. Jessica is also simply wonderful to have in your home. She is calm, kind, easy to talk to, and supportive without ever being overbearing. We always felt our baby was in extremely capable hands and are so grateful we found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend Huddle to any family looking for trustworthy, highly experienced, and compassionate night nurse services.

Hi, my name is Kay! I am a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with over 8 years of professional childcare experience. I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified and have a background in the medical field as a phlebotomy technician, allowing me to bring an added level of safety awareness, attentiveness, and professionalism to newborn care. I specialize in supporting families during the early postpartum weeks through structured routines, healthy sleep foundations, feeding support for both breast and bottle-fed babies, and calm, attentive overnight or daytime care. My approach is nurturing, dependable, and centered on helping both baby and parents feel supported, rested, and confident during the transition into parenthood. I understand how important the newborn stage is, and I pride myself on clear communication, discretion, and maintaining a peaceful, organized environment within the home. My goal is to provide compassionate, reliable support that helps families feel more at ease while adjusting to life with a new baby.

Our provider was always attentive to feedings, diaper changes, soothing, safe sleep practices, and her communication throughout the night gave us complete peace of mind. We especially appreciated the detailed tracking of our baby’s feeding and sleep conditioning which allowed our baby to sleep through the night. As new parents, we feel much more confident after having such an educated and thorough provider help us

Joan Sherwood

I am Joan Sherwood, founder of Peaceful Beginnings To You. My calling to become a doula was born from a personal experience. During the birth of my child, I was left alone in a hospital room without any support. My spouse and brother were sent home because I was not in active labor. My water had broken, so I was admitted, and I faced the daunting process of labor alone, in a secluded area until it was time to push. This experience, where I delivered a 9 -pound, 2-ounce baby without my loved one's present, ignited my passion to ensure that no other person would have to endure such solitude. My journey as a doula began 25 years ago when I assisted a family member through labor. Since then, I have been a source of support and guidance for family and friends, which eventually led me to pursue certification as a birth doula through DONA International. I am deeply committed to holistic birth and postpartum care, and my extensive training reflects this dedication. My education includes a Family Development Credential, studies at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, the Center for Homeopathic Education, and the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. I am also a certified Calm Birth Instructor, Infant Massage Instructor Trainer, Womb Sauna Practitioner, and have received postpartum training from Indigemama, BirthMama, Traditional Postpartum Practitioner, and Birth Arts International. My approach to doula care is centered on the needs of the laboring person. I come with no preconceived notions, and I remain as fluid and flexible as possible to meet the evolving needs of each individual. In addition, to running my private doula practice, I have provided doula care to underserved communities as a doula and doula mentor for a federally funded program in Brooklyn.

Joan was my doula for both my pregnancies, one in 2014 for my now 8 year old and again during the pandemic for my 2 year old. I highly recommend Joan she provided such consistent support during both pregnancy, while birthing and postpartum. I was so fortune because Joan is just naturally resourceful and intuitive and she was right by my side every step the way. To this day I consider her such an empowering and beautiful human being and I am thankful that she was with me on my journey into motherhood -- I would choose her again and again and again!!!

As a CPR-certified professional and trained NCS, I’m confident in providing expert care rooted in compassion, structure, and attentiveness. Every family I work with receives customized support that blends evidence-based newborn care with the warmth of having a trusted friend by your side. ✨ When you work with me, you’re not just hiring help — you’re gaining a reliable partner who truly cares about your baby’s well-being and your peace of mind. Let’s make your transition into parenthood a beautiful one 💕

Recent review

We worked with Kiki from May to July 2022, and she was amazing. She provided full 24/7 newborn and postpartum support, helping with nighttime care, feedings, diapering, soothing, and creating a structured sleep routine. Her attention to detail and thoughtful guidance made us feel confident as new parents. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that Kiki is not available as a long-term nanny. While her postpartum and newborn care is exceptional, she does not provide ongoing daily childcare beyond the support period, which we initially hoped for. Overall, Kiki is professional, trustworthy, and nurturing — a true asset to any family navigating the first months with a newborn.

I’m a newborn care specialist, certified birth and postpartum doula, certified breastfeeding and childbirth educator, and a veteran homeschool mommy of five. I’ve spent over 30 years supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to every family I serve. I’m passionate about creating a holistic, calm, and enjoyable birth experience, tailored to each family’s unique needs. I believe that when the environment is relaxing and supportive, birth can be empowering, memorable, and even joyful. Outside of doula work, I love to meditate, write, read, spend time with my family, and sip green tea. I have a lifelong love of the beach and seafood boils, which keeps me grounded and connected to my roots. Doula Dynasty is about empowerment, connection, and generational impact. I provide compassionate, holistic, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment, honoring your choices and helping families feel confident, seen, and celebrated. My goal is to leave families not only with a positive birth and postpartum experience but also with a renewed sense of strength, resilience, and joy.

We worked with Netta and Doula Dynasty for four months for overnights from the day we brought our second daughter home from the hospital. From that first night, Netta was incredible. Very caring, responsible, professional and safe with our daughter and also supportive of me postpartum. She is positive, loving and knows exactly what to do to help your baby sleep so that you can get some rest. She’s also helped us during the day too and is a lovely person. Highly recommend!

I am a CD/PCD (DONA), CLC Birth, Postpartum, Bereavement and Holistic Fertility Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor & Educator as well a Certified Childbirth Educator.. La Belle Doula was founded upon the recognition of the extreme lack of compassion in maternal health care, and it became abundantly clear that this was to be my life’s work. My goal is to empower you by not only providing you with the education and tools needed, but also through being an empathetic support system as you go through this unique journey of your life. I put high values on overall well-being and cater to each woman’s individual needs in order to provide guidance & a shoulder to lean on during this complex and powerful experience. As a Doula, I believe in your vision, I trust in your strength, and I remind you of the power within you because every woman deserves a beautiful beginning and ending.

My husband and I worked with Jennifer the last trimester of my pregnancy. She always made herself accessible for any questions, and we felt very well supported by her. Jennifer was extremely thorough, timely, and compassionate. She was a master at feeding us information at the right time as not to overwhelm us. My husband and I wound up taking a 6 hour birth class a month before our due date, and we felt so well prepared from Jennifer, that the information in the birth class seemed repetitive from what Jennifer had already instilled in us! The day I went into labor, Jennifer was accesible every moment. She was truly an advocate for us and made us feel safe and connected. My husband and I would absolutely recommend Jennifer to any couple looking for doula. My met several, and Jennifer was truly the best of the best. Thank you Jennifer!!

Chandel is a gem! She was communicative from the start, and went the extra mile when it came to insurance verification, which is usually an annoying process. She was such a calming and supportive presence during those overwhelming first few weeks with our newborn. Her steady reassurance, patience, and kindness made a huge difference for our family during a challenging transition. We felt genuinely cared for and supported every step of the way.
