We hired Nadine as our doula after feeling that we needed more support through the pregnancy and birthing process. Nadine was amazing - supportive, experienced and knowledgeable. She provided us with lots of resources, answered all our questions and when it came to the birth, remained calm and provided reassurance when things didn’t go to plan. She also provided invaluable support post birth. I firmly believe that everyone should hire a doula and if you are very lucky, you will find one as great at Nadine.

I offer a warm, grounded space for people navigating pregnancy, postpartum and the emotional transition into parenthood. Since 2019, my work as a birth and certified postpartum doula has brought me alongside families through birth, newborn care and the adjustment to life with a baby. This experience informs my understanding of the exhaustion, uncertainty, relationship changes and shifts in identity that can accompany parenthood, helping clients feel heard and supported as they find their own way forward. My professional background includes more than 15 years of experience in social services, supporting individuals and families through intake, assessment, crisis intervention and emotional support. Jen was our doula for the birth of our first child in April 2026. We had a wonderful experience with her throughout. She has a very relaxed, reassuring energy. Mama Bear is the perfect way to describe her vibe! Our first 2 meetings were great and she had information about everything we asked (and more!) She also sent follow up emails with lots of resources for us to look through after our initial sessions. In the final weeks leading up to the birth, she was very communicative and checked in frequently. She was very reassuring when I was having concerns and fears, and she really helped me to manage the anxiety I was feeling about childbirth. Jen also helped walk us through making an informed consent document (birth plan), but also supported us when we decided on something different in the moment while I was in labour. During early labour, she came to our home and helped support both my husband and I with various positions, counter pressure, pain management, and decision making. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped us settle in, and came back after I had rested for several hours. She arrived before the birth and was a strong advocate for me with the midwives and hospital staff, and it took a lot of pressure off of my husband (who was already doing so much to help). It was so helpful to have someone who was familiar with the birthing process and hospital by our side for support. Jen's postpartum visit was so lovely! Seeing her again in a relaxed way after such intensity was really special. She held the baby and gave us some tips and advice on what to expect in the coming weeks. I expect we will ask her for some extra post-partum visits once my husband is back at work. What an amazing woman to have involved with our baby's life. We are so lucky to have found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for doula support. Thank you, Jen!

Hi, I’m Angelina, co-founder of Cradira and a Perinatal Support Worker/Postpartum Doula serving families across the Greater Toronto Area. I provide overnight postpartum support for expecting and new parents who need more rest, more reassurance, and fewer “are we supposed to know what we’re doing?” moments. My work includes newborn care, postpartum recovery support, feeding and sleep guidance, emotional reassurance, and practical help with the everyday reality of life after baby arrives. Because yes, the baby is a big part of postpartum. Obviously. But so are the dishes, the laundry, the night plan, the feeding setup, the relationship stress, the texts from people asking how they can help, and the fact that someone still needs to know where the clean sleepers are. Over the last 25 years, I’ve learned that families usually don’t need more pressure or perfect-parent advice. They need someone calm, experienced, and practical who can walk into the real-life version of their home and help things feel a little less chaotic. Many of the families I support are also carrying more than newborn care alone: anxiety, depression, PMADs, fertility stress, loss, neurodivergence, relationship strain, or the pressure of being the person who usually keeps everything running. I don’t diagnose or provide therapy, but I am very comfortable supporting families where these realities are part of the picture. That might mean taking over baby care so parents can sleep, supporting a feeding plan, talking through newborn sleep, helping with bottles or pump parts, giving parents a chance to rest, or helping make the household pieces a little easier to manage. Sometimes the biggest relief is not a complicated plan. It’s someone saying, “Okay. Here’s what we’re going to tackle next.” My approach is warm, inclusive, evidence-informed, and rooted in real life. I’m not here to tell families there is one right way to do this. I’m here to help them feel steadier, more supported, and less like they have to hold everything in their heads. Baby doesn’t need perfection. Your family needs steady support, realistic plans, and someone calm in the room when everything feels like a lot.

She is a human encyclopedia for all things baby-related, guiding us through sleep routines, nursing challenges, and serving as a wonderful sounding board for our concerns. Angelina strikes the perfect balance between listening to our needs, sharing her expert opinion, and collaborating on the best solutions. We highly recommend working with her!

Hi there! My journey as a birth and postpartum doula began with a simple yet powerful realization: too many families face parenthood weighed down by fear, doubt, and isolation. My work is about helping you build confidence, trust your instincts, and embrace the beautiful, imperfect journey of parenthood with peace and strength. From the very first flutter of possibility through the tender, tiring, beautiful early days of parenthood, my team and I aim to be the bridge that helps families feel supported, informed, and empowered. My approach to birth blends practical knowledge with heartfelt care—nurturing nutrition, mindset preparation, and gentle body movement—so every family feels ready, capable, and never alone. When I'm not serving as a doula, you'll find me nose-deep in a book, wandering through nature, or soaking up time with my own family—the very thing that inspired this work in the first place.

Fiona was absolutely amazing! She prepared us so much for postpartum that we had minor issues. During my labour she was the reason I felt supported enough for my husband to deliver our baby, she also did prep with him beforehand and everyone was raving about how well he did! We had a beautiful experience, she made me feel so safe. I couldn’t have gotten through my labour so well without her. I had an absolutely beautiful stress free home birth with her. We will definitely be booking her for the next 😅☺️

Nijah Smith was a great doula during my postpartum experience. What stood out the most was how naturally connected she was with my baby girl. She instantly analyzed what she needed, and responded with such calm confidence. Nijah assisted greatly with household tasks, helping me latch, and helping her settle. Because she was so attentive, observant, and proactive with the baby, I actually got to rest—and real rest. I felt safe enough to sleep because I knew my daughter was in good hands. I’m deeply grateful for her, and I would recommend her to any parent who wants someone alert ,gentle, and proactive to support their family.

Chantell helped me tremendously after I gave birth to my son. I had a caesarean so I needed all the help I could get. She would help me with light cleaning, caring for him and attended appointments with us. She also provided me lots of emotional support as well, as I was a young first time mother and she was very patient and understanding with me. Overall she is very supportive and nurturing and I’m sure if you chose her, you would not be disappointed!
