Howdy! I’m so glad you’re here! Birth and postpartum are some of the most vulnerable times in someone’s life and if we work together I’m likely going to see you naked to some degree, so it’s only fair you know about me too! I grew up in the Dallas area and have been in Austin since 2014. I came for college and south Austin has always been my home. I was a nanny for a family while I was working on my undergraduate degree in social work with minors in psychology and women & gender studies - they introduced me to what a doula was. I am one of the lucky people on this planet who has truly found their calling and can honestly say they love their job. I’m also a Licensed Social Worker in both Texas and Colorado and focused my studies in graduate school on perinatal mental health and mood disorders and the mind-body connection of somatic therapy. I believe the birth of a child, and rebirth of humans in the transition to becoming a parent, are sacred and beautiful experiences. Knowing birth is strenuous on the physical body as well as requiring an immense amount of mental strength, I bring in knowledge from regulating your central nervous system while still focusing on mind-body-soul-connection. Having a strong support to provide knowledge, hold space, and honor the process is key, and what I love most about birthwork. I am also passionate about the postpartum period to help families navigate the transitions of a new parental identity, preparing parent’s relationship for changes, caring for themselves, and setting up realistic expectations for what the future will bring. I come into the birthing space with no judgment, and am fully present for whatever decisions you make during this process. You can catch me around Austin climbing rocks, crocheting at Barton Springs, reading at West China Tea Company, and traveling with my partner, Haley, and our 2 dogs, Norman and Elio. I look forward to working in community with you!

I am a mother of five and have been supporting women on their journey into motherhood since high school. I often feel that doula work chose me and not the other way around. Having attended over 100 deliveries as a professional DONA trained doula I have experience in a wide variety of births and know the sheer power this moment carries with it. I have perused a special area of study in anxiety and sensory sensitivity. Along with this I have extensive experience in: *IVF journeys *VBAC *Mothers of Advanced Maternal Age *Hospital Deliveries *High Risk Delivery *Successful use of Epidural *Navigating home birth transfers *Mothers with sensory needs and/or need for mental health support I would love to set up a time to talk about how I may be able to help support you during your pregnancy and birth! Hey y’all! My name is Aubrey. I live in the Texas Hill Country with my husband, two daughters + a baby boy on the way, and our three fur babies. I received a BA in International Studies and a Masters in Education, which I used to become a middle school World Cultures teacher. Throughout my journey to motherhood, I’ve developed a passion for empowering others on their parenthood journey to make informed decisions and never settle for care that is anything less than exceptional. As a lover of world cultures, I have found an interest in learning how birth is viewed around the world and how parents are cared for postpartum - and then applying the best of those practices to the birth and postpartum care I provide here in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. As someone who appreciates and celebrates what makes each of us unique, I also celebrate the fact that every family will have its own unique birthing preferences and parenting preferences. I hope that I can help support you and your choices as you take on this next chapter of life.

Certified Holistic Health and Womb Wellness Practitioner, Herbalist, Doula, and Nutritionist. I found my calling in birth work at the young age of 16, where I was present at at a family members birth, and never looked back! After studying Biology at Temple University and devoting a portion of my life to modern medicine, I found a passion in Ethnobotany, which led to applying a more holistic approach to women’s health- -hyper focused on women’s reproductive health. I aid women in womb wellness through overall health and herbal healing by way of yoni steaming, abdominal chirapsia, and nutrition counseling. My doula duties are universally geared toward family-directed, physiologic childbirth, antenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, herbal remedies, reproductive care(pre-conception to postpartum) and placenta medicine.

Hi! I'm Lacey Dowlearn! I am a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula serving Round Rock families. My journey in birth work began in 2007 with the first pregancy in my group of friends. She had mentioned wanting a midwife and I started researching. I had caught the birth bug and was hooked! The idea of women helping women made my heart happy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be an apprentice midwife at several freestanding birth centers; labor support for homebirth, birth center and hospital clients in Round Rock and surrounding areas and have recently certified as a CBE and Doula with Birth Boot Camp. I've been married to my partner, Danny, since April 2008. He has supported me through this journey and is a great partner. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls, Annie and Jane. Both of my births took place in my home accompanied by a midwife, my very first midwifery preceptor. I breastfed both of my babies for 2 years, tandem for 6 months. That was such a wonderful and bonding experience. I want to provide the best care to each mother who trusts me with her birth experience, whether that be in hospital or at home. I believe that having a positive birth experience is the right of every woman. I will strive to help each mother and baby have a special delivery.

I am Rebecca a mother of 6. I am a Childbirth teacher for the last 11 years and a Doula for 10. I have always taken a natural approach to things. As I have studied and learned more, I have made changes to my life and the way I do things. I became a Bradley teacher and started Doula Training and continued to expand my education shortly after. It fit nicely with my husband's Bowen Therapy, so we decided to work together helping others with all the things we struggled with and needed help with as parents. Every service I offer is something I needed in my life as a parent and had to piece together from multiple people and professionals. i want to make the community better and hopefully that will ripple outward and change other's lives too. I struggled to be able to afford my Bradley classes and Doula so I decided to make all my services as cost effective as I could for my clients.
