Hi! I am mom to 10 children, birth activist, doula, and childbirth educator. I work hard to change the birth culture in Nashville by educating doulas, improving birth and baby loss care in the local hospitals, organizing Empower Your Birth conferences, donating peanut balls to 14 area hospitals, changing the TN newborn eye ointment law to be more favorable to parents, and fighting for parents/doulas rights during Covid. I have over 28 years of experience with pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. I run a Christian doula agency that strives to strengthen marriages/ families, educate to empower you, and nurture you to find joy in motherhood during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

As a postpartum doula, I, Jana, am dedicated to helping new parents get much-needed restful nights while caring for their newborns. With genuine passion, I form meaningful connections and find joy in witnessing parents experience rejuvenating sleep, empowering them for the day ahead. My journey as a doula began after realizing my calling extended beyond the classroom, where I worked as an infant teacher for years. I provide emotional and physical support, tailoring my approach to each family. Operating in Franklin and nearby areas, my philosophy centers around nonjudgmental assistance, leaving families with a deep sense of worth and the belief that they can overcome challenges. By reducing stress, I enable mothers to prioritize self-care and bonding with their baby. Think of sleep as a valuable resource that needs to be replenished to help you function at your best. I am here to provide the assistance you need

My name is Abalonia Leavitt and I'm a mother of five beautiful children I am married and a traveling midwife I enjoy watching TV spending time with my children and taking vacations. I've had a passion for conception pregnancy and birth since I was a teenager. I would spend hours in the library researching and learning about embryology, neonatology and, obstetrics. As a mother of five I know how important it is to have quality care but more importantly to feel heard understood and to feel like you have an ally and not that you're fighting against your beliefs and your intuition but, what's also best for your baby. Some season practitioners are stuck in their ways I'm trying to bridge that Gap between hospital being a normality back to Midwifery being the sole purpose and providers for pregnancy aside from high risk pregnancies. I aim to lower mortality and morbidity rates among women and babies in the United States. I provide quality evidence-based care. I believe that no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care at Leavitt's itty bitty delivery that is what we live by. With over 10 years of experience over 30 certifications I am also accredited on the better Business bureau, WebMD and several other sites I have also served my community for free if insurance was not covered and I also serve the elite communities as well. I have a genetic testing, mother care kids, parenting courses, preparation for Midwifery entry trainings, NRP , BLS, BBP, STABLE and, PALS. Contact me more information or check out my website. www.Leavittsitty-bittydelivery.com

I am an experienced, trained, and certified birth doula and an advocate for changing the birth narrative in our world. Overcoming the heartbreaking loss of my mom through childbirth, I faced my own fears through my three births. During those experiences, I uncovered profound strength, resilience, and courage beyond my wildest imagination. Birth invites us on a journey of self-empowerment. It would be my honor to be your guide as you courageously step into your own birth story, the same way I did.
