She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity Management and Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. She has found a love for breastfeeding after having her son in 2018 and having the best lactation consultant. She has expanded and embraced her purpose as a birth worker to become a doula. Mother's Helper was established in 1988 by Lin Cook to help new mothers with the myriad of questions commonly asked about caring for a new baby. Mother's Helper first offered postpartum doula in-home care for new mothers and then later added Bradley Childbirth and Infant Massage classes.
