Hi everyone, I'm known as Doula Dianne and I have supported families in the Phoenix area since certifying with DONA 17 years ago. My husband and I have been married for 44 years and we have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I’ve always felt it was my calling to serve women during one of the most intimate times of their life…childbirth. After experiencing my own birthing journey and walking through birth with various friends and family, my passion was confirmed. I have currently served nearly 1000 families through one of the most memorable moments of life. The miracle of birth is SO amazing to me and is a constant reminder of our Creator God. Whether it is to support you during your labor and birth or to tell your birth story through my photography, I am so thankful and blessed to be a part of your team.

Meet Arizona licensed midwife Giuliana Pica, the passionate force behind Empowered Goddess Birth. She launched this inspiring venture in 2020, initially as a doula and childbirth education business, all while dreaming of evolving it into a vibrant home birth midwifery practice. In February 2021, Giuliana dove headfirst into her midwifery apprenticeship at a local birth center. There, she immersed herself in the art of midwifery, attending both birth center and home births, while learning from an accomplished array of preceptors—including licensed midwives, certified nurse midwives, and a community-based obstetrician. Fast forward to 2024, Giuliana proudly completed her training and passed both her national certification exam, and state licensing test, officially transforming Empowered Goddess Birth into her dream home birth midwifery practice. Giuliana maintains both CPR and NRP certifications, has attended a breech training workshop hosted by Breech Without Borders, completed a shoulder dystocia training course through Spinning Babies, and has attended 3 midwifery skills workshops hosted by the Midwifery Wisdom Collective. She is passionate about and committed to expanding her knowledge base. In the spring of 2024 she also welcomed earthside her first child, Odin. His home waterbirth was a deeply spiritual and soul nourishing experience. Since then, she’s been savoring every magical moment of motherhood alongside her partner Nicholas, as they embark on this beautiful adventure together. Giuliana believes deeply in the importance of intuitive, empowered healthcare, and is dedicated to supporting women and their families in their unique and transformative journeys, all while bringing a bit of magic and her own intuition to each experience.

Hello, hello~ My name is Chanel Shows (she/they) and I am doula, childbirth educator, and bodyfeeding/infant feeding educator providing support throughout Phoenix, AZ and surrounding areas. Since 2018, I have received training from Sista Midwife Productions, The B.L.A.C.K Course, Cihuapactli Collective and in community. Outside of birthwork, I enjoy diving into fermentation projects, spending time with loved ones, and expanding my knowledge in current hyperfixations. I’m here to make you feel empowered, supported, and heard through your journey of birth and postpartum. This is my mission due to my birth and postpartum experiences. I had a traumatic first birth that ended in an emergency c-section. Postpartum Recovery was even more difficult without the support I truly needed. When I was ready to try for a second baby, I miscarried. It took a lot out of me, to get the answers I needed to explain why I miscarried and to find a provider who was going to be safe for me. I knew I wanted a doula and the right birth team that would support me through a VBAC. My team heard me and created space for me to achieve a dream birth!

I am a faith-based, holistic doula serving Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding areas. I would love the opportunity to connect and would be honored to be chosen to support you during your birth.
