Angela was very helpful in guiding us on our 2nd child birth and giving us very helpful advice in just a 45 minute initial consultation. Unfortunately we couldn't go with them for logistical reasons but would love to use them in the future if possible!

Morgan Gray

Hi there! My name is Morgan and I am a birth and postpartum doula in Sacramento, CA. I am currently working towards my Maternal Support Practitioner certification through Bebo Mia. I’ve always been fascinated by birth, but after experiencing an unplanned cesarean with my first son, then achieving a VBAC with my second son, my fascination transformed into a passion. Everyone’s birth is different and unpredictable. My dream, in the chaos and beauty of birth, is to make sure all birthers feel safe, supported, and nurtured, both during labor and in the postpartum period. Being there to support one of the most transformational and emotional moments of life is truly such an honor. As I’m working towards my certification and need a specific amount of hours/births attended in order to reach that goal, I’m more than happy to work with sliding scale. Currently, I am unable to accept insurance but hope to in the future! When I’m not absorbing everything I can about pregnancy, birth, and beyond, you can usually find me trying to sneak in a few chapters of a romantasy novel, playing monster trucks with my boys, or laughing with loved ones.

Morgan has been absolutely amazing for our family. As a postpartum mom, one of my biggest fears was returning to work and leaving my son, Cruz, in someone else’s care. Having Morgan has eased that transition more than I can express. She is loving, attentive, and genuinely caring. I have full confidence in her — she truly understands babies and what they need. Her knowledge, instincts, and calm presence give me complete peace of mind every day. Cruz absolutely adores her, and it’s clear she cares for him as if he were her own. Morgan is always on time (often even early), dependable, and consistently shows up with a positive attitude and a smile. Beyond caring for Cruz, she thoughtfully helps with tasks around the house, which has been such a blessing during this season of life. Postpartum can be a difficult and emotional time, especially adjusting to life as a mom of two. Morgan has supported me through this transition more than she probably realizes. We are so grateful to have her, and any family would be incredibly lucky to work with her.

My name is Amber Bardini, and I am the proud owner of Blooming Families Doula Services, LLC - a full spectrum doula agency, serving our wonderful clients throughout the greater Sacramento area and beyond. As a wife, mom of three, and certified full spectrum doula, my mission is to ensure that every parent and parent-to-be feels empowered, nurtured, and fully supported as they navigate this beautiful transition. My journey into the world of doula work began with a passion to make a positive impact on the birth and postpartum experiences of new families. Becoming a parent was one of the most challenging transitions of my life, and I remember how lost and alone I often felt as a new mom. I knew there needed to be a profound change in how we treat new parents and parents-to-be. I am truly dedicated to supporting new families—so they never have to feel the way I did. I founded Blooming Families Doula Services to extend compassionate, professional support to families in every stage of their journey. My goal is to ensure that every family receives the dedicated care they need to thrive and to help them build a strong, supportive village around them. I believe that every birth and every journey is unique, and every person and new parent is different. What works for one person, may not work for another. We are here to support you according to your specific needs. I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for everyone, especially within the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. Everyone is valued, respected, and embraced for who they are. Thank you for considering having us as part of your journey. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you every step of the way.

Bailey was my doula through Blooming Families! She was wonderful throughout my pregnancy and birth. I was happily surprised that her services were covered by my insurance. Bailey helped me know what to expect for birth and helped me made educated decisions in regard to my birth plan. She attended my birth (despite it begins 3.5 weeks early). Throughout my birth she helped advocate for my wishes and encouraged my husband in ways he could best support me! She also checked in with me postpartum. I am so grateful for her support and recommend her services, especially for first time moms!

October 2026

We interviewed a TON of people (12+ humans), we spoke to folks at several agencies as well as night nurses on care.com. We finally found Sally, our postpartum doula that we felt would be a great fit and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Sally was gentle, calm, kind and focused on my recovery as mom as well as making sure our newborn was fully cared for. She was flexible with whatever setup we wanted; however, in my case, I didn't know what to do (had no idea the "best way" to do the nighttime routine), so I asked for her advice, and she helped us set up a WONDERFUL routine. She was the best thing for our family postpartum. Anyone would be lucky to be able to work with her and get her support.

I had a very pleasant birth experience because I chose Olena. She provided a lot of information that put me at ease and communicated with the hospital staff. I highly recommend her.

— Olga Novichkov, review of Olena Duda

October 2026

I am incredibly grateful to Olena. This was my third baby, but my first birth with a doula, and I had never felt so prepared for childbirth before. I had two previous C-sections. With my first baby, I never experienced labor because my C-section was scheduled. With my second, I planned a home birth with a midwife, but unexpectedly had to go to the hospital. I was completely unprepared for a hospital birth and eventually agreed to another C-section. This time was completely different. Olena met with me for nine one-hour sessions before the birth and prepared me so thoroughly. She taught me about nutrition, walking, exercises, breathing, positions, contractions, the stages of labor, and so many things that could help. Even though this was my third baby, I learned so much from her. For the first time, I entered labor feeling informed, confident, and prepared. During my birth, Olena stayed by my side. She breathed with me through contractions, massaged me, applied counter-pressure to my hips, helped me change positions and do exercises, brought helpful tools, essential oil, and played calming music. When I was exhausted and in intense pain, her presence and support made an enormous difference. Toward the end, I felt I couldn’t continue and was ready to ask for an epidural. Olena suggested trying nitrous oxide first. It helped me relax and breathe deeply, and very soon afterward my baby was born. By the grace of God, after two C-sections I gave birth vaginally to a 4,515 g (9 lb 15 oz) baby, using only nitrous oxide for pain relief! I am so thankful for Olena’s preparation and support. I truly don’t know how I would have done it without her. Her care didn’t end with the birth. Olena visited me postpartum, brought groceries, and cooked my favorite borscht right in my kitchen while teaching me a new recipe. My husband ate two bowls, and my son, who didn’t like borscht before, said he loves it now! 😊 It is difficult to put into words how grateful I am. Olena’s knowledge, kindness, generosity, and genuine care meant so much to me. I truly feel she was a blessing during my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. Thank you, Olena, from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget your support. ❤️🙏
