Your Soft Landing Into Postpartum ♡ The journey doesn’t end at birth. Neither should your care. Bringing a baby into the world is one of the most profound transformations you’ll ever experience. Your body, your identity, your relationships, and your entire world shift to make room for new life. It’s beautiful, tender, exhausting, and sometimes overwhelming. And you deserve to feel deeply supported through all of it. At Soft Landing Postpartum, we believe the fourth trimester deserves just as much intention, preparation, and care as pregnancy and birth. Soft Landing Postpartum is a postpartum doula agency serving Greater Sacramento and Sonoma County. Founded by a Licensed Midwife, our practice grew from a deep understanding of the physiological and emotional transformation that unfolds after birth, and a desire to fill the gap in care so many families experience during this vulnerable season. Our team of experienced postpartum doulas and newborn care specialists offers thoughtful, individualized care that blends evidence-based knowledge with the wisdom of traditional postpartum practices. How we care for you: * Overnight newborn care: Rest easy knowing your baby is in experienced, loving hands while you get the restorative sleep you need. * Daytime postpartum support: Nourishing meals, light household care, newborn education, emotional support, and space for you to rest and recover. * Lactation and feeding support: Compassionate, judgment-free guidance from experienced providers and IBCLCs. * Postpartum bodywork and recovery: Belly binding, gentle movement, breathwork, and somatic support to help you reconnect with your body. * Infant sleep support: Gentle, developmentally appropriate guidance as your family finds its rhythm. Whether you’re welcoming your first baby, growing your family, recovering from a cesarean, navigating a NICU transition, or simply longing for a little more rest, we meet you exactly where you are. We serve families throughout Greater Sacramento and Sonoma County, offering care that feels less like a service and more like the village you were always meant to have. Our hope is simple: that you feel rested, nourished, confident, and held as you settle into this new chapter. Because you deserve more than just getting through postpartum. You deserve to be cared for, too. We would be honored to be part of your village. Let’s create your soft landing. ♡ Schedule a complimentary discovery call to explore what support could look like for your family. www.softlandingpostpartum.com

Honestly, 10/10 doesn't even cut it for Soft Landing Postpartum and our amazing doulas, Emma and Cindy. Bringing home a newborn is a lot, but they made the whole transition feel so smooth and manageable. They both have this incredible depth of knowledge and exceptional professionalism, but they deliver it with so much genuine warmth. Whether we had questions about sleep, feeding, or just general newborn stuff, they always had the best advice. Most importantly, the way they loved and cared for our little girl was just beautiful. They felt like a natural extension of our family almost instantly, and we honestly can’t picture our daughter’s life without them in it. We were lucky enough to use them through our Carrot benefits, and the whole process was incredibly easy. If you’re a medical resident with Carrot benefits, do yourself a favor and book them right away. Surviving residency while trying to navigate life with a newborn is no joke, and having Emma and Cindy there to support us meant we actually got to sleep, recover, and feel human. It made a world of difference in helping us show up for our shifts and be present for our baby. We seriously can't recommend them enough!

Well Mama Birth Services was born from my deep desire to create a space where every woman feels seen, heard, and supported throughout her birthing journey. Rooted in a holistic approach to birth, I honor both the physical and emotional experiences, believing that when women are treated with care, respect, and compassion during pregnancy, they birth with strength and grace. Inspired by the legacy of the women in my family who taught me to trust myself, my body, and the sacred process of birth, their wisdom is at the heart of everything I do as a doula. Birth can be unpredictable and raw, but I truly believe YOU. CAN. DO. THIS. Every woman has the innate power to navigate this transformative journey, and my role as your doula is to help you tap into that strength. I am here to stand by your side as you surrender to the experience of birth and trust in your own power. Whether supporting the full spectrum of maternal health—including infant loss, miscarriage, and beyond—being a doula is my lifelong passion.

Wendy was an incredible support throughout my home birth journey. Her prenatal guidance was invaluable—she took the time to educate me, answer all my questions, and help me feel truly prepared. Our conversations gave me so much confidence, and she always made me feel heard and supported. During labor, her calming presence and reassuring words kept me grounded. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula to walk this path with me. If you're planning a home birth, I highly recommend Wendy!

Carina is a second generation Filipinx and El Salvadoran queer and revolutionary full-spectrum doula. In an effort to embrace both of Carina's ancestral lineages, Carina is committing to the re-knowing/re-learning of advocacy for families on their journeys of pregnancy, labor, postpartum, miscarriages, loss, and abortion. Through this work, Carina devotes themself to re-membering the innate wisdom and powers of birthing people’s abilities to birth life into this earthly realm. In re-membering this ancient wisdom, Carina rejects harmful patriarchal systems and resists colonial structures of all forms. Carina provides additional support by bridging birthwork and astrology through careful observation of one’s cosmic makeup to identify any aspects and/or analyze current transits in the sky as it relates to someone's placements. She provides insights into the energies of a chart to instill a sense of calm, understanding, and presence through the sacred journey. In addition to Carina's duty to ensure their clients feel seen, held, and supported, she recognizes that every birthing person's experience is unique and as a result of this, ensures the care they receive is catered to their individual experiences. In and out of this work, Carina of Tandaan Mo (remember) La Tierra (the land) aims to uplift, support, honor, and advocate for all sacred portals.

Hi! I’m Tunisha (Nisha), a passionate certified birth/postpartum doula, mother of three amazing kids. My own experiences with pregnancy and birth taught me just how transformative this time is, and my philosophy is simple: every parent deserves to feel empowered, respected, and safe, no matter how their birth unfolds. Before becoming a professional doula, I was the go-to person for my friends and family, providing hands-on support, encouragement, and care during their pregnancies and early postpartum days. I believe in 'mothering the mother'—offering calm, non-judgmental, and practical support to help you navigate this incredible journey. I would be honored to hold space for you and help you welcome your baby with confidence.

Tunisha became my doula when I was 7 months pregnant. Throughout my journey, we had zoom meetings and communicated daily. Tunisha always checked in on me and shared informative resources for my pregnancy. Fast forward to the actual day of giving birth. Tunisha came to the hospital with such positive energy and calmness. She guided me through every contraction by reminding me to focus on my breathing and by pressing on my hips and back (this got me through the pain). During the time of pushing, she spoke out with encouragement and I held on to her voice. She made me believe in my body and what my body was capable of doing. She was my advocate and my rock. Tunisha asked me if I wanted to labor and push in all the different types of positions; I did and I finally found a comfortable position. I gave birth unmedicated and this was an amazing experience. I always felt safe and secure with Tunisha by my side. I am forever grateful for the support of Tunisha.
