Hi, it’s nice to meet you!
Whether you’re exploring sexual education, expecting, experiencing loss, or navigating early parenthood, I’m here to provide guidance, comfort, and unwavering support. Utilizing my understanding of compassionate care, evidence-based knowledge, and personalized support, I aim to create a nurturing environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to have the experience you desire. I have years of experience participating as a peer educator with Planned Parenthood and have spent the last five years being fascinated with birth work. At the start of 2024, I started training with Doula Trainings International to become a Full Spectrum Doula. When I am not working, I enjoy being in nature on hikes or kayaking, spending time with my closest friends, and experimenting in the kitchen. Can't wait to get to know you :)

Sov Gott Sleep Solutions was created by certified pediatric sleep consultant, Danielle Nyquist, to provide virtual sleep coaching to families everywhere! The goal of my program is to help families with young children establish healthy sleeping habits so they can enjoy more restful sleep. Using a personalized approach, I will create a plan that is specifically tailored to your child's needs and those of your family.

Recent review

Danielle helped us through the 18 month sleep regression. Her sleep plan was aesthetically pleasing, extremely detailed, and easy to follow. The daily sleep logs really helped me stay accountable and gave me insight into my daughter's sleep.

I am a doula in Columbus, Ohio and I believe expecting parents should feel empowered and confident throughout pregnancy, during birth and postpartum. Childbirth should bring out your highest self and you should feel informed and optimistic throughout your journey! I was called to birthwork for this reason.

As a mom of two small kids (aged 2.5 and 1), I understand just how difficult this parenting thing can be. Lack of sleep can compound with boundary pushing and send us over the edge. This is where I step in. I work with my clients to implement peaceful and gentle parenting techniques. I've been through it and it became my passion to help others thrive in parenthood. I'd love to connect and see how I can help you regain sleep, potty train, or calm your emotions for a happier, well-rested, and peaceful parenting experience with mutual respect between parents and children.

Recent review

Manu is extremely knowledgeable in all things postpartum and can offer guidance and support to mamas trying to figure everything out. Her sleep expertise is bar none and creates such a world of difference for families and littles. I'd recommend anyone looking for postpartum or sleep support to Manu without hesitation.

I generally don't respond to requests through here, I can easily be found through various locations. My journey into midwifery started with the birth of my first child Oliana who was born by cesarean after planning a homebirth. That birth left me excited to be a mother but also confused about healing and breastfeeding. I had a lot of support in the postpartum including from our local ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network) chapter. Community was important in healing and building me up as a mother during my early parenting years and community is what drives me today. In 2009 I attended Birthing From Within training in Austin learning the art of mentoring new parents through the childbearing year. My youngest child Silas was born at home in 2011, I stepped back from birth work during my pregnancy and the years after he was born. I found I needed a lot of quiet contemplation during this time and he needed a lot of time with me. In 2014 I attended toLabor doula and activist training and started a midwifery apprenticeship with CHOICE. In 2018 I became a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) specialized in out of hospital birth. I live in Columbus with my two children. We have a thriving backyard garden and are into composting and sustainable growing practices. I’m an avid reader and researcher. I try to keep up with current research around the pregnancy year and take multiple trainings a year to broaden my knowledge base. I support clients seeking homebirth and monitrice care in the Columbus, Ohio metro area and offer online coaching sessions to people who live outside of my radius of roughly an hour. I have a special interest in families planning a VBAC and HBAC (Vaginal/Home Birth After Cesarean). I am an Army veteran serving 4 years on active duty in Germany and 3 years in the reserves in Columbus. I have an undergraduate degree from Ohio State in Political Science and Women’s Studies (now Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies).

Hello everyone, It has been a while since I’ve done an introduction post. I am very happy you’re here and looking into having a doula by your side while going through the most beautiful experiences of life. ••• A little about me, I am twenty-five years old. My husband and I have two daughters. They are our pride and joy with the perfect mix of sassy and sweet. ••• I myself had a very traumatic birth in 2021 and I am very thankful for it because it has led me here, helping other mommas and doing what I have been called to do. I am a Christian Certified Doula located in the state of Ohio. As a doula, I will share all I know about pregnancy, birth, postpartum and newborn care one on one and through my page. ••• I will help you decide on a birth plan, prepare physically and mentally for birth and postpartum…As well as so much more. You deserve peace of mind whether this is your first baby or your last. ••• Having a doula throughout pregnancy has statistically been shown to shorten labor, instill confidence and trust in your body and your care team, as well as preventing unnecessary interventions. ••• I help families all over Ohio prepare for birth both virtually and locally so that parents can have the gift of readiness and ease. ••• Please check out my new website as well as my updated schedule for the next few months. ••• I am excited to continue this journey on supporting moms and helping them advocate for themselves.

After working in the nutrition space as a private practice dietitian for several years, I started to realize how much the conventional recommendations leave us hanging when it some to fertility, prenatal, and postpartum nutrition. This is arguably the time in life when nutrition matters most but few providers talk much about nutrition at all. At most, you may received a handout on what foods to avoid. But that leaves you not knowing what to actually eat. Because our current recommendations on prenatal nutrition are lacking, I went head first into the literature to learn more about this topic. Unfortunately, it’s not one we learned much about in my nutrition classes! I realized I loved working with this population and wanted to help women and couples on their journey to having a healthy baby. In addition to pregnancy related nutrition, I also specialize in eating disorders so I want to make food non stressful and pleasurable again. Food shouldn’t be a chore. Food is not just fuel, it is our way to show love, to connect with others, to change our quality of life, and to impact the future health of our children (and even grandchildren). I am passionate about helping people sift through the plethora of nutrition information that can be found on the internet to refocus on what is most specific to them and their circumstance. I strive to continually learn and better my practice in order to bring the best advice possible to my clients.
