My practice has been in the Raleigh/Durham area in NC for over three years, and I am now offering Postpartum support for families in Raleigh, Holly Springs, Cary, Fuquay Varina, Apex, Lillington, Coats, Pittsboro, Garner, Clayton, Willow Springs and Sanford NC! With over 30+birth attendances under my belt, I can support you throughout pregnancy, birth and into postpartum. I teach a 1x online Postpartum and Newborn prep course for $100 AND am trained under DONA International's Postpartum Doula Certification qualifications. Hi, I’m Sai, a birth and postpartum doula, infant care specialist, and mom of four. My journey into this work began through my own lived experience with postpartum depression and anxiety, which opened my eyes to how deeply parents need support during pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood, and how often they’re expected to navigate it alone. For over five years, I’ve supported families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with compassionate, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based care. As a birth doula, I provide emotional support, education, advocacy, comfort measures, and a calming presence throughout labor and delivery, helping families feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way. My postpartum work focuses on newborn care, recovery support, feeding guidance, and helping parents adjust with confidence during those early weeks at home. I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Certified Birth Doula. I have been working as a Birth Doula since 2016. I have assisted in vaginal births, c-sections, vbacs, water births, virtual doula work, and have supported families that have dealt with a loss. My experience is wide! I am a mother to four children and when my first and fourth babies were newborns, they gave me many breastfeeding challenges. It was with the support of skilled lactation consultants that I was able to develop a plan to be able to continue to breastfeed. I became a lactation consultant because I desire to support moms in the comfort of their own homes as they overcome challenges while feeding their babies.
