I was always involved in my church, as well as hosting social gatherings for friends and the youth. What called me to birth work, you may ask? During my undergraduate studies, I had the pleasure of interning with a midwife and witnessing my first birth. This experience, along with the birth stories of close friends and family, compelled me to research how I can best advocate for birthing people.
