With over 20 years of experience supporting families across six countries, I bring a deep understanding of the diverse ways cultures nurture parent-child relationships. My journey into birth work began as a Health Community Worker, advocating for immigrant Latino families in New York. Later, while working at a mental health agency in Connecticut, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that nurturing, consistent, and responsive caregiving has on a child’s development. This realization fueled my passion for family support and led me to become a Birth and Postpartum Doula, ensuring families receive guidance and care from the very start of their parenting journey. Three years ago, I earned my certification in Perinatal Mental Health, allowing me to further support families through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and culturally informed space for every family I serve.

Jaymie is a proud mother of two. After having a VBAC with a doula she decided that a doula was instrumental in having her voice heard during the time of birth. Nicole is a certified birth doula with a passion for supporting families through compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care. With a calm and grounded presence, she empowers birthing people to feel informed, respected, and confident in their choices-whatever their birth plan may be. Nicole is certified through Childbirth International, Carrot Fertility-approved, and trained in adult, child, and infant CPR & First Aid by the American Red Cross. Julie was born and raised on Long Island and has always loved children which lead her to becoming a performer at Disney World while she was in high school. She later became a stunt woman in film and television until she met her wife and settled back on the Island to start their family. After having their son she realized that life had a new plan in store. She was so inspired by her doula that she trained with the Long Island Doula Association while pregnant with her daughter. Hi there, Friend! I became a doula, because I realized my passion for prenatal care, birth, and postpartum support was not departing after my own experiences. My goal is to be able to help and support other women in my community. I desire to have them experience excitement and confidence in themselves that I hope leaves them encouraged. I have been through three pregnancies myself and have walked alongside many friends and family members journeys. I live in the tranquil countryside of Northern NJ, about 5 minutes away from the borders of Upstate NY and PA and only 90 minutes away from NYC! My husband of 10 years and myself were born and raised in Sussex County. We love where we live as it is quiet, beautiful, and allows us to continue our dreams of one day having our own homestead. We look forward to raising our three beautiful children here as well. As a collegiate business major and previous elementary/middle school educator, communication, organization, learning, and teaching are very important to me. Volunteering my time frequently allows my empathetic attributes to selflessly serve others and walk alongside my neighbors, peers, friends, and family. In my free time, I love being outside and active with people near and dear to me. I love to garden, take care of our chickens, cook, bake sour-dough, play board games, take hikes, and watch the occasional football game!
