I have been supporting pregnant people for 18 years. I began my journey shortly after my own firstborn came peacefully into this world and the passion was ignited! I studied to be a midwife (CPM) with a number of excellent mentors and qualified in 2011. I have worked in both home and hospital settings as a doula and an excited to now be supporting this community of Clallam County. I am currently only working as a doula (non-clinical support).

Amanda is nothing short of amazing. She served as my doula for our third child, born in 2015 in Kenya. Giving birth seemed daunting at first, but Amanda's confidence, skill, and calm demeanor made everything easier. From the moment that I found out that I was pregnant, she was a source of advice and a trusted confidant, answering my questions and addressing any concerns that I had. When it came time for the birth, our little one was very reluctant to come into this world, but Amanda made the whole experience more positive. She advocated for us with hospital staff and doctors, allowing me to focus on my body and child. Of course, she was also by my side throughout the experience, offering encouragement and even some laughs. After the birth, Amanda continued her high level of care with post-partum wellness checks for both me and baby. We were very grateful to have her with us during this journey. Her dedication to me and our family is still something that I look back on with great fondness.

Aneke Roach

I am Aneke, a passionate calm birth worker with 28+years of experience helping future parents on their journey into parenthood, whether in the comfort of their home or any other birth place of their choice. I serve as a midwife and doula, so called monitrice. I think education is key for a good start as family, therefore I teach childbirth education/introduction to lactation, care in postpartum. Birthing a child is the most powerful intimate event in our lives, it should be treated with love, care and professional expertise in the most natural way possible.

I can't recommend Aneke highly enough. Having her by my side was one of the best decisions I made for my birth experience. During labor, she continuously helped position and reposition my body using different techniques to encourage my baby to rotate into a better position and descend. When contractions became most intense, she provided counter-pressure and massage that brought tremendous relief. During the pushing stage, she suggested different pushing positions based on my progress and used warm compresses to help protect my perineum. Her expertise, calm guidance, and constant support played a huge role in helping me achieve a vaginal birth. Most importantly, Aneke is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Every time we encountered a challenge during labor or breastfeeding, she always had thoughtful and effective solutions. She never stopped encouraging me, helping me overcome difficult moments, and giving me both the courage to get through childbirth and the confidence to continue my breastfeeding journey.

My name is Rae Pittenger-Jimenez (she/they); I am a midwife, full-spectrum doula, and analog film photographer living in the Pacific Northwest. With over a decade in perinatal healthcare, my work weaves together clinical care with photography and writing, creating a body of work that is both interpretive of the reproductive experience and indexical to the unseen labor of family-building and parenthood. My creative and support practice is informed by years of clinical experience in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, combined with my own experiences of pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.

Rae supported us as a doula and birth photographer with the birth of our second daughter at St. Anne's in Burien, WA. Her presence in listening to our previous birthing experience, and our goals for this one, made us feel seen, known and held at each step of the way. Tiffany (birthing person) experienced Rae's care as steady, grounding and affirming, and feels that it helped her stay embodied even amidst intensity. Thomas (birthing partner) felt Rae's responsiveness was stellar, and that her instructions during labor were clear, pracitcal and kind. Rae's photography beautifully captured our perinatal chapter and served to support us in integrating our experience, as well as celebrating and honoring, the arc of our journey.

Morganna Bimm

Langley, British Columbia 15 years of experience

Morganna Bimm

I’m a caring, calm, and practical family support provider with a diverse professional background in healthcare, childcare, aquatics, first aid, and community work. I spent 12 years working in healthcare with at-risk youth and older adults, and I’m currently completing my Full Spectrum Doula training through Doula School Canada, including postpartum care. I bring that combination of healthcare experience, safety knowledge, and hands-on family support into the way I care for both parents and children. My approach is very individual. I don’t believe there is one “right” way to parent, recover, feed a baby, build a routine, or support a child. I believe in meeting families where they are, listening before assuming, and helping people feel more confident in their own abilities rather than stepping in and trying to take over or “fix” things. Sometimes support means practical help, sometimes it means information or reassurance, and sometimes it means recognizing that someone is exhausted and needs a meal, a shower, a few uninterrupted hours of sleep, or simply another capable adult in the room. With children, I’m calm, creative, and very hands-on. I encourage age-appropriate independence, I’m patient about mistakes, happy to answer approximately nine million questions, and generally not bothered by a little mud, paint, flour, or chaos along the way. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and youth and take an individualized, trauma-informed approach to communication, routines, sensory needs, and emotional regulation. Ultimately, I want the families I support to feel safe, respected, listened to, and more confident — not judged or managed. I bring a lot of professional knowledge into a home, but I never forget that it is your family, your values, and your life. My role is to support you in it.

Hey my name is Santaya, I am a Birth doula.I work as a pregnancy coach while also being a personal trainer for delivery. I work with families to help them achieve their goals for birth. This means i meet with patients (and families) twice during pregnancy to go over needs and goals for clients birth plans. During my clients pregnancy i visit them every trimester to do a check up. In these visits i go over what to expect within that trimester and answer any of the patients questions. I also track the pregnancy in a book that i give to the patient after delivery. I offer business hours on call support to my clients. This means i will be available from 9 am-5pm for physical support, emotional support and informational support via text or call. I help assist/coach my clients with delivery at the hospital however long that may be.I don't have to do shift change. I am present during labor till a few hours after.I help support clients that decide on natural birth, epidural or C section. Postpartum clients usually feel they no longer need men after a couple hours. Most times this is natural for the family unit to adjust and adapt to normal everyday life. However, I also offer packages for postpartum newborn aftercare where I can assist with breastfeeding and overnight care of the newborn. My passion in life is the celebration of mothers. Working with women and helping women build their families THIER way. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you feel you are in need of a doula please reach out. Joann was such an incredible support to us throughout pregnancy, labour, and postpartum. Our baby is 6 months old now and when I think of his birth, I remember how amazing it was to have Joann there. I had a planned c-section after a very traumatic delivery with my first, so I knew I wanted a doula by my side, but also to support hubby in case he needed it. Throughout pregnancy, Joann was a cheerleader, always there to talk. When our little guy decided he couldn’t wait until his planned c-section date, Joann pivoted and met us as at the hospital as soon as we needed her. She came with her bag of tricks (lol) to help me through labour (a labour I wasn’t anticipating because of the scheduled c-section), which progressed so quickly, and she was so great at ensuring both myself and hubby were supported where and when we needed. She took beautiful pics too and stayed with us until we were settled in our room. The overnight visits were a game changer, too! We love and appreciate Joann, and couldn’t imagine what the experience would have been like without her! I’ve given birth without a doula, and with a doula - having Joann there was the experience any mama deserves when having a baby <3

Jody's presence, during my deliver, brought such a sense of calm and reassurance. She was kind, accommodating, genuine, and incredibly supportive. One thing I will always remember is how Jody constantly reminded me to come back to my breathing when I would get completely zoned out from the intensity of the contractions. In those moments when the pain felt overwhelming and I found myself losing focus, her gentle reminders helped ground me and bring me back to myself. She knew exactly when to step in and what I needed without ever making me feel pressured. Jody is incredibly knowledgeable, but what makes her truly special is the serene and calm presence she brings into the room. Even during the turbulence and intensity of delivery, she remained steady, reassuring, and composed. Her calm energy was something I could lean on when everything around me felt overwhelming. I absolutely recommend Jody to any family looking for a doula who brings not only knowledge and experience, but also warmth, calm, and genuine heart to her care of not just the mom and baby but the entire family.

As a new mom, my husband and I didn’t have any family nearby, so I had many questions and felt unsure about what to expect after my pregnancy. Tiffany was a helpful resource before, during, and after the birth. With so many things I didn’t know and no one to guide me, Tiffany stayed with us and was always friendly, dependable and easy to talk to. She offered kind support and helpful advice for all my questions. Our baby also felt very comfortable with her, which made our transition to life with a new baby much easier. We are very thankful for Tiffany’s help as our doula. Having her around at such an important time meant a lot to our family. Even months after the baby was born, she continued to be a caring and dependable presence, and our little one has grown to love her.

I have worked with Gopika during my first homebirth. She was the perfect holistic postpartum guide and was fortunate to take her reiki, postpartum massage and counseling. What sets her apart is her ability to clearly see where the struggles stem from and how everything is connected. She is highly educated in women nervous system and work with the body as a whole. Highly recommend to anyone who needs prenatal and postpartum support.

October 2026

When I realized my original birth plan with a midwife wouldn't be possible, I started to dread labour and birth. I was terrified of an overly medicalized process, losing my autonomy, agreeing to interventions I didn't fully understand, and the potential of lasting birth trauma. Working with Syllona changed everything. My labour and the birth of my son ended up being the most intense, beautiful, and transformative experience of my life, and I credit Syllona with much of this outcome. Her guidance and encouragement leading up to the labour allowed my partner and me to make the exact right decisions for our family. With Syllona’s grounded support, I confidently turned inwards, connected to my body in ways I never had before, and truly believed in my innate ability to give birth. Because of her, I felt empowered to guide my baby into our world, comforting him and letting him know he was safe. Thank you, Syllona, for guiding us and helping us bring our son into this world. I cannot recommend her highly enough to any expecting parents.
