I can't speak highly enough about Shaniqua. She is warm, extremely knowledgeable, and puts you at total ease. Shaniqua was both my L&D doula and postpartum doula for my first born. I was ridiculously anxious about all things childbirth and newborn care, and Shaniqua was my number 1 support. She is a baby whisperer and absolutely loves her job. It is rare to find people that are so good at what they do. I recommend her to every one I know. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Shaniqua, don't hesitate to book her!!

First off Rhonda was amazing from the moment I met her on zoom I instantly felt safe motherly love. She was someone that could help me navigate through my pregnancy and birth. My first pregnancy I was younger less educated on birth and nervous. My pregnancy in 2024 leading up to the birth of my baby girl was nothing short of amazing. Rhonda encouraged me, she was attentive, she checked on me regularly. If you are looking for a doula she is the one. I absolutely will never forget her being apart of my life and the impact she made on myself and my family. I delivered a 7 lb 2 oz baby girl natural no medication at all and I thank Rhonda and god for seeing me through that deliver. When I wanted to give up and said I couldn't do it Rhonda encouraged me and comforted me we listened to gospel music during my delivery as she rubbed my face and talked me through if I were to have another baby id call her right on up. I will forever love her and respect her. She even did my placenta encapsulation she is heaven sent call Rhonda right on up!

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I provide heartfelt birth and postpartum support for mothers and families during one of life’s most transformative seasons. As both a birth and postpartum doula—and a mother myself—I understand the importance of feeling empowered, nurtured, and understood throughout pregnancy, birth, and the days that follow. Whether it’s offering calm, steady presence during labor, or providing personalized postpartum care—like preparing meals, tending to laundry, offering emotional support, or sharing practical guidance—I’m here to walk alongside you. My goal is to create a space rooted in simplicity, generosity, and authenticity so you can feel cared for and focus on what matters most: your growing family.

Lauren is amazing! She helped me build my birth plan and was able to bring her own experience and knowledge to help me make educated decisions. I ended up having to be medically induced early, and she talked through my birth plan with me again and helped me make adjustments. Day of, it was SO helpful to have her in the room to talk through decisions because the midwife was giving recommendations to change my birth plan, and it was so helpful to have a third party person who was educated in L&D to be able to talk this through with and come to the best conclusion for me. In the midst of giving birth, she was so helpful, attending to our every need. Because we had met ahead of time and she really took the time to get to know my goals and desires, she was able to advocate for me. I had precipitous labor, so things escalated quickly. At one point, my midwife asked me a question about pain meds that needed an immediate response. I was mid-contraction and unable to speak, but Lauren jumped in with no hesitation and communicated exactly what I wanted to say! She was also able to help keep my husband calm and engaged during our baby’s birth, and even he said he was so thankful Lauren was there with us! I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to anyone interested in hiring a doula!

Being a doula brings me so much joy and I love what I do! Assisting in this beautiful experience, as a guide while you deliver a complex being into this realm is my passion. Within my Haitian culture, I have learn so much about the process of taking care of a woman’s body, especially during pregnancy and birth. Haiti really emphasizes in womb healing, and being surrounded by the women of the village during this intimate moment. I provide physical, emotional, mental, and informational support, to women and their partners. I make sure that you and your partner are confident enough to be your own advocates to ensure a positive birth experience. This is my true purpose.

Mislene was very knowledgeable and informative during my Pregnancy journey. She helped us prep for birth and also create a birth plan by answering many of my questions and concerns. She helped to ease a lot of fears we had especially being new to the GA healthcare system. Mislene was also very gentle and kind. We gravitated to her spirit immediately and I felt such relief from the first time we met her. Her guidance and advice was priceless! I wanted someone to advocate for me during labor because my husband can get a little overwhelmed doing that and she did just that to make sure all of our needs were met even though we had to a medically necessary emergency c section. I love that she is grounded in her roots and could share many homeopathic remedies with us. Her personal post partem care packages were awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the in-home pampering and care she provided. Her massages were awesome! We also did the placenta services she offered and were very happy with that as well. I’m so happy the universe connected her with us and at the perfect time.

As a mother of three, I've walked the journey of birth and parenthood with both uncertainty and empowerment. My own experiences have taught me the profound impact that supportive care and holistic approach can have on a woman's transition into motherhood. At 20, I became a mom to my daughter Ava, navigating a medicated 12-hour labor and the challenges that followed. Despite the difficulties, I was determined to grow and learn. With my second child, Maxim, I discovered the strength of my body and the power of natural birth. However, it wasn't until the birth of my third child, Natalie, that I truly embodied the transformative potential of holistic birth and parenting. Through dedicated preparation, self-care, and community support, I cultivated a profound trust in my own abilities and the natural process of birth. As a certified doula through The Matrona, I've been blessed to learn from the wisdom of Whapio and the Matrona lineage. I strive to bring the knowledge and heart-centered approach of these wise women to every birth I attend, honoring the sacredness and individuality of each family's journey. As a holistic doula, I'm devoted to creating a nurturing space for women to tap into their own strength, resilience, and intuition. I believe that every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and supported throughout her journey into motherhood. My heart is committed to guiding women in embracing their unique experiences, trusting their inner wisdom, and unfolding into the fullness of their own power.

We were lucky enough to have Leah as our night nurse for six months, starting from the very first night we brought our son home from the hospital. From day one, she brought such a calm, reassuring presence into our home—and we instantly trusted her. Leah is incredibly knowledgeable and was a steady guide for us as first-time parents. She helped our son develop a strong, consistent schedule (both day and night), which made a huge difference for everyone’s sleep and sanity. She was also an amazing resource for postpartum support—always ready with thoughtful advice and encouragement when we needed it most. In addition, Leah is flexible and truly does her best to accommodate any schedule changes. She always made us feel like our family’s well-being was her top priority. Our baby absolutely adored her and gravitated toward her from the beginning. Leah made a meaningful impact on our family, and we’re so grateful for the care and peace of mind she gave us. If you’re considering night support for your newborn, I can’t recommend her highly enough!

She handles postpartum — daytime and overnight newborn care, nourishing support, and the kind of calm that makes the whole house exhale so you can finally rest and recover. We don't show up with a checklist or an ideal version of how this should go. We show up ready to meet you exactly where you are. LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, sliding scale available for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ families. Many clients successfully use HSA/FSA funds and workplace family benefits like Carrot to cover doula services.

My whole family is obsessed with Rabsaris. We had the pleasure of having her as our doula a couple years ago for the home birth of my second born, and she was so amazing every step of the way. She is warm, knowledgeable, and hilarious. She’s not afraid to give you the truth, and she’s very straightforward, which I appreciate. Also, her chocolate chip cookies are unmatched. She is a wonderful, honest, genuine person. She has such a passion for supporting pregnant people and their families and it shows in how intentional she is about everything she does. Every prenatal felt like a full childbirth education course. I learned so much during her visits. I still use the calming techniques she taught my husband and me for everyday life with a toddler! At my actual birth, I felt like my sister was taking care of me. I felt so loved and supported. It was like she was reading my mind every step of the way. I can’t even really describe it, but I can’t imagine my birth without her. It was so beautiful to have her there for me, my husband, and my oldest kiddo (who, again, is OBSESSED with her). I could go on, but to keep it short: Rabsaris’ services were worth every single penny and then some. I cannot recommend her enough. Do yourself a favor and hire her as your doula. You won’t regret it!

I’m a Mother of 5 and have been a Birth and Postpartum Doula since 2005. I believe informed, supported families make confident decisions and that emotional safety matters just as much as physical care. My approach is calm, judgment-free, and deeply client-centered. I support families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with hands-on education, advocacy, and compassionate emotional support. I’m especially mindful of how past experiences, expectations, and birth trauma can shape the way someone moves through pregnancy and birth, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to give birth. My role is to meet you where you are, help you understand your options, and support you in making decisions that feel aligned with your values. Whether you’re planning a low-intervention birth, navigating medical care, or processing a previous experience, I’m here to walk alongside you. When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me staying active in the gym, learning more about holistic health, or soaking up time with my own family.

She was truly a lifesaver for us. We hired her as both our birth doula and postpartum doula, and she consistently went above and beyond. She answered my questions at all hours, day and night, and always provided knowledgeable, thoughtful responses. If she didn’t know an answer, she took the time to research it thoroughly and followed up with well-informed guidance. Her communication was incredibly prompt, which made her extremely reliable. She is also remarkably proactive—I never had to tell her what needed to be done. She continuously looked for ways to help and always thought about how to make our lives easier. We initially planned to hire her for just the first month, but we quickly decided to extend her time with us because of how exceptionally helpful and caring she was with our newborn. She taught us many practical, realistic tips for caring for our baby and was always patient and observant. It was truly a pleasure to work with her, and we are so grateful to have had her support.

I have worked with Aerkya since 2019 for 4 pregnancies and it wasn't until this last one that I realized that the reason we came to blows was totally my fault. There was no physical altercation and I can't even say that there was a heated verbal exchange because I did all of the verbal attacking and used all the inflammatory language. For my first pregnancy she was beyond helpful to my family. She was more than a doula and something like a therapist. She showed up for me not just physically but emotionally and I know I got on her nerves with as much as I called and texted her. She has NEVER said this but I'm sure I was a nag. My second delivery in 2021 was much of the same but I'd lost my dad at the end of my pregnancy. I went into labor the day after his funeral and she literally held me while I dealt with every emotion known to man. My third delivery in 2023 was my easiest pregnancy and delivery and she was there every step of the way. My most recent delivery this year 2026 was rough. The pregnancy and the delivery were hard on me physically and emotionally and while Aerkya did her best to keep me focused on the main goal, I was not a walk in the park to deal with. I have moved about 50 minutes away from where I lived with the first three deliveries and because I have had home deliveries I always wanted to make sure my birth team could get to me easily. I went into labor around 5 am in the morning but I didn't call her until maybe 8:30. Knowing with morning traffic it would be at least a hour almost 2 to reach me. I called her several times to see where she was knowing she was in traffic and hearing her driving and horns honking in the background. She stayed calm even though I was a real you know what. I cursed at her, I yelled at her, I told her that she should've just known that I was in labor. And if you get to know her, you know she can match your fire but she didn't. She remained calm and gentle with me and to this day I don't know why she didn't go off on me. I didn't even call my midwife I just called Aerkya. I found out later that she called my midwife on her way to my house because she lives even farther away and it would be an even longer drive for her. I ended up delivering my baby that 2:27 that afternoon and I was happy but still dealing with other personal stuff so I was mean even after having a healthy baby with no complications. I yelled because Aerkya and the midwife were there. They did nothing wrong to me or my children. Aerkya called and texted me, my husband, my mom, my sister and my best friend DAILY to check on me and the baby. They would tell me to reach out to her to just let her know we were ok but instead I called her, cursed and yelled at her and told her not to contact me or my family again. All she said was okay and if you experience her "okay", you'll learn that she basically told me she was done with me. I found out later on that she kept reaching out to my husband, sister and best friend to help them help me. It took me about a month to feel something like myself again and I realized that I was mean to my entire family. I reached out to my midwife and Aerkya to apologize and make things right. I went back through texts and realized just how horrible I was to her. She still tried to be there for me. I have reached out countless times in the past month and haven't gotten a response and I deserve that. I wouldn't respond to me either. Aerkya went above and beyond for me each pregnancy but I had unrealistic expectations of her this time around. Aerkya has a calm presence that you wouldn't even realize you need until it's there. She listens attentively and I never felt rushed with her. Even if she had decided not to show up for my delivery because I was nasty to her I could never replace or ignore how she showed up for me through other pregnancies and deliveries and through this one. I hope she will have me for any further pregnancies because I'm not working with anyone else but her.

Review of Doula: Molly Raynor- long but thorough First to give some background information about myself: I am 38 years old, mother of four, two high risk pregnancies, used Molly for three out of the four births. Note: I do have a great husband who helped me throughout the pregnancy and birthing process but he would even say Molly helped in ways he couldn't enter into nor wanted to- 1st Pregnancy/ Delivery: 2015 I did not used a doula for my first pregnancy/birth because I thought I could handle the pain, the process, the unknowns because I was a student athlete in college; but I was naive and foolish. I did not education myself on the birth process, options available nor any postpartum possibilities. It was an incredibly difficult pregnancy with intense nausea and poor eating and exercise habits. In labor and delivery the baby was stuck on my pelvic bone, it was three hours of pushing, throwing up, and almost ended in a c section but the doctor used a vacuum to pull baby out. Recovery was a long road and the memory of it all felt like a train wreck. 2nd Pregnancy/Delivery: Macon, Ga. 2016 I called Molly right after a positive pregnancy test. This pregnancy was much better because we monitored my diet and exercise so I could handle all the ups and downs of nausea and appropriate weight gain. At 20 weeks this pregnancy turned into high risk as the baby had a spot on her kidneys. Molly helped me navigate the unknowns of going to obgyn and high risk doctors. At 34 weeks baby tried to come and I was sent to the hospital for steroid shot and bed rest, Molly was there with me through this process. Finally at 39 weeks baby girl decided it was time to meet everyone. Molly made the 2 hour drive to Macon, GA from Atlanta, GA to assist me. It was an uneventful birth of 12 hours. I was planning on going natural but the pain caught up with me and I ended up with an epidural and a baby an hour later. Molly comforted me in that I wasn't any less than a mom because I made a change in my birth plan. I had a lot of guilt about this that she helped me shift through. She held me through the epidural and then attended to the baby post birth to make sure all the nurses and doctors followed my birth plan exactly. She became what I found most helpful as my "external thinking brain" because during the pains of labor and post birth highs, I was in my own world; Molly was the one who kept me balanced and helped the staff stay on track to my wishes. 3rd Pregnancy/Delivery: Cartersville, Ga. 2021 Again, called Molly as soon as we knew we were pregnant. This time I knew I wanted an unmedicated birth and expressed that earnestly. Molly quickly and thoroughly got me resources to watch, read, listen to so I could prepare my body and mind. She would send me videos, I would put in the mental and physical effort to obtain my goal. This pregnancy went by fast, maybe with other two kids in full swing of life. But found myself at 38 weeks with contractions every 20 minutes apart and headed to see my midwife. She confirmed I was in active labor and sent us to the hospital. Molly kept my labor from stalling by using different techniques: birthing ball, walking halls with me, rubbing backing during contractions and many other options. With my water breaking, I quickly went from 8cm to 10cm to pushing. Molly worked with my midwife to think through different pushing positions to help baby. Finally after 30 mins of pushing, I held my baby. Molly again took over watching baby and making sure what I wanted on my birth plan was followed, nothing more, nothing less. Fourth pregnancy/delivery: Rome, GA. 2025 This was my hardest pregnancy, maybe due to age, the unexpected positive pregnancy because of a blood clotting disorder and the fact of older kids and their activities. Again, I saw a high risk doctor and an OB. We planned for another unmedicated birth by watching videos, listening to audio books, and walking through all the details we could forsee and control. With a more serious situation of my blood clotting we walked more thoroughly through c section possibly, my wants, my goals, the medicine I can and can't have and the NICU possibilities. I started having consisent contractions at 36 weeks and went on bed rest. These contractions stayed and made rush to the hospital a few times. Finally at 39 weeks 4 days, my water broke and was 5cm. Molly and I did everything we could to progress labor with many different stretches, poses, walking, miles circuit, and yet after 18 hours, I hadn't progressed any but was exhausted from the intense but irregular contractions. My gut told me baby was stuck on my pelvic bone and I couldn't keep going without an epidural. With a long conversation with Molly and the labor and delivery nurse, I knew it was what was best for me. Molly held me again during the epidural and they positioned me so baby would descend and within an hour I was pushing. Molly and the labor and delivery nurse worked together to put me in the best pushing positions. Again, post birth, Molly instantly attended and followed the baby around. Molly helped me a lot post partum this pregnancy as the baby blues were very strong and overwhelming. I could call and talk with her anytime. She encouraged me of the good things, listened to me express my sadness of not being pregnant and just helped me navigate waters that I thought I could cross by myself. Personal aspect: Molly not only became a source of strength for me each pregnancy but a comfort that she would advocate for me and my baby. Having her by my side gave me confidence to approach the unknown and yet allowed us to control the controlables. I can't recommend her enough, she knew when to be serious, when to make me laugh, when to be firm with me and the hospital staff, and when to let things be. Note other things she did worth mentioning: Came to my OB appointments to meet my midwife and doctors. Toured all three different hospitals with me to know where and how to get to labor and delivery. Made a hospital labor and post delivery snack bag. Made texting groups for family and friends to keep them posted on labor and delivery. Handed out copies of my birth plan to labor and delivery staff. Helped me with postpartum blues. Helped me with breastfeeding techniques and proper latch. Gave me a post partum visit each pregnancy to check on me and baby.
