I am 21 years old and I am also married with 2 wonderful children! I had a doula for my first birth and I've never felt so secure. I had someone who had me, my boundaries and wants in mind. I never knew what i wanted to do as a career and after that whole experience I knew exactly what i wanted to do. Birth is such a vulnerable process and emotions are high. My goal as a Doula is to remind mothers that they are powerful and courageous! I love the feeling when i see mothers realize they are meant for this and they can do it with out a doubt!!<3

I’ve personally known cylena since elementary so when I got pregnant and heard she was becoming a doula I knew I made the perfect decision having her be apart of my first pregnancy journey. She made my labor experience go very smooth and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She advocated for me at the times I wasn’t able to and made sure I was getting the care I needed and some. Working with cylena will be the best decision you ever make and I’m not being biased! She loves what she does and she’s great at it.

As a parent myself, I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate pregnancy, birth, and parenting. My goal is always to help you fully understand your options, confidently make your choice, and effectively communicate your needs to those around you. I believe that the development of these self-advocacy skills will serve you for the rest of your life. I am filled with purpose when clients feel heard and supported in their decisions, and I want to celebrate the fact that you made the choice that is right for you. All love and support—no judgment.

I spent most of my career as a Television, Web and Podcast Producer, but after having two children and three grandbabies, I realized one of my greatest joys is caring for newborns and their parents. Having a baby is amazing but it also can be exhausting and overwhelming, filled with uncertainty and worry. I want to make this life-transforming transition easier on new families who may not have support nearby. Think of me as the mom or aunt who wants to give you and your baby lots of loving care and help, without emotional baggage or past issues! My goal is to help YOU learn how to be confident and competent parents while providing your precious baby another caring adult to give them a healthy and welcoming start to life.

Hi families! My name is Lillian, and I would love to be your birth doula and/or night nanny! I have been professionally trained by Dr. Robin Elise Weiss through DONA International and have been working with babies and in childcare for 5+ years. I am so excited to begin this incredible journey with you. I have always been passionate about working with families and babies in whatever capacity I could, and I aspire to be a midwife and eventually own/run a birth center focusing on holistic care. I strongly believe that birth is a beautiful, natural process that a woman’s body was made to do and that you, as the birthing person, are wholly capable of bringing your baby into the world. So, my goal is to support you in doing that however you may need! I have always been told that I have a very calming presence, even by strangers and those who don’t know I am in birth work, and I plan to bring that to every birth I attend, along with my active listening skills, assurance, and knowledge. Together, we will make sure your birth is as comfortable and empowering as possible, I can’t wait to work with you!

As a doula, my practice focuses on providing personalized support + information access to birthing people + their families throughout pregnancy, birth + the postpartum journey. My services are designed to complement + enhance the care provided by the birthing person's medical team. I use evidence-based strategies to help my clients prepare both physically + mentally for birth, while also fostering a sense of connection + community.

Sarah was a great addition to the birth of my 1st daughter, Lilah. My husband and I were nervous going into the process, and didn't really know what to expect, and wanted to know everything we could. My husband and I did not hire Sarah until a month prior to our scheduled induction, as we had not fully committed to hiring a doula. Once we did, Sarah made sure to come to our house several times to go over all of the planning of our birthplan, going over several movements/positions, and overall informing us of the process and what to expect. She was very calming and reassuring even though we were nervous. Sarah did a great job of informing us about the processes involved in my induction, she was very knowledgeable about different movements and positions to encourage baby to move, and was super helpful in keeping my husband and I calm, as we tend to have higher anxiety generally. During the labor process, Sarah was extremely mindful of our wishes, and conveying them with the staff and making sure that I had autonomy over my experience and that decisions were not going to be made for me or pushed at me. She explained things to me that I didn't quite understand when doctors came in, and made sure my voice was heard. After the birth, she stayed with me until I was moved and settled, and even came to visit us when we came home from the hospital. She is also coming over again to meet to see how things are going, and help me plan my return to work. I would definitely recommend Sarah to everybody, even if you have gone through the birthing process before, as she is wonderful at making the experience more intimate and precious. Thank you Sarah for everything you did!

I am a South Minneapolis-based birth doula and massage therapist. I have been a bodyworker for eight years, and co-own Total Solace Massage in Uptown, Minneapolis. I have attended trainings by DONA (2018) and Community Aware Birthworker (2024). My approach to birth is open-minded. I believe my role is to help you have the right experience for you, to make sure you know what options you have, and then help you navigate whatever is in the cards. Regardless of your birthing wishes, I bring my grounded, dedicated presence to my clients before, during and after the birthing time. Much of my life orbits care-work, especially through building strong community connections and supporting human bodies as they navigate change. Outside of birth and bodywork, I train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, I’m slowly learning to bake bread, and I am trying to befriend the neighborhood crows.

Your friendly neighborhood birth doula here to support YOUR birth! Daisy Doula MN attends hospitals, birth centers, and home births. A doula works alongside you in the prenatal, birthing time, and postpartum. I am a birth doula residing in South Minneapolis. I have a lot of interests and passions that led me to find birthwork. I find it perfectly intersects science and data, bodywork and movement, direct advocacy, and human connection. I love to laugh and cry with you, holding space for your emotions and experiences. I enjoy sharing my knowledge while being curious about everything I don’t know. After completing a B.S. at the University of Minnesota and a stint living in France, I started working as a consultant for our local utility companies, implementing an energy efficiency program for new home construction. By this time I was deep into a yoga practice and took a yoga teacher training at Yess Yoga in 2018. I learned so much and it exposed me to many holistic practices within the 8 limbs of yoga. Meanwhile, my all-female consulting team started expecting. They would come to the office with so much new information and questions after doctor/midwife appointments, not to mention what everyone was saying on the internet! I was so curious about it all! I discovered what a doula was and that people did it as a profession. Not long after I am happy to say I found a doula training and haven’t looked back.

Maria was an amazing source of support, wisdom, and 5 hours of hip squeezes! My husband and I felt so confident and prepared for childbirth (as much as you can as first time parents) due to Maria’s guidance throughout the pregnancy. From day 1, Maria was comfortable and fun to work with! We cannot recommend her enough.

When she is not serving families in the birth space you can find her writing poetry, whipping up herbal remedies in her kitchen, and sharing cuddles with her daughter Leilani. Her passion for birth work began at age 5. After witness her first birth, she knew that being a birthworker was her mission. As a young adult Jerriah was always deeply moved by birth and found her way supporting family members and friends during their labor. It wasn't until 2020, after the birth of her daughter, that this spark reignited back into her life and she dove deep into the meaningful work that she now does as a birth worker. "I believe that Birth is sacred, and should be handled with intention. As a birth worker my approach is designed around assisting you in bringing your birth intentions to life, whatever that may look like for you and your family. Hi there! I’m Megan (she/her). I’m so glad you’re considering doula support for your or your partner’s upcoming birth. I believe all parents deserve judgement-free, evidence-based support during their labor, birth and postpartum. My journey to fully birth obsessed began during my first pregnancy. I needed to know all the things and hear all the stories. I quickly learned that many birthing people, especially those in marginalized communities, do not receive the care they deserve during their journey to and through parenthood. This is when I discovered doulas and the support they provide. So I hired my doula, had two supported and empowering in-hospital birth experiences and went on my way as a mom of two, working a typical 9-5 in corporate marketing— never quite shaking a new found desire to make a difference in the birth community. Fast forward a few years, endless heart-to-hearts with my family and friends about making a change and I finally enrolled in a doula training. I truly believe this is what I’m meant to do and I’m so glad to have found my way here. My goal as a birth and postpartum doula is to empower birthing people and their partners through judgment-free and evidence-based support. When I’m not doula-ing, I’m usually spending time with my husband, our two daughters and two elder pups. Before parenthood and a pandemic hit, you could find us skiing, hiking, trying new restaurants, taking on a house project we probably should have left to professionals or binging our favorite shows. Now, you’re more likely to find us at a local park, swimming pool or in our backyard. A meaningful conversation over a cup of coffee or glass of wine is the way to my heart. I am so honored to serve birth clients in Minneapolis, St. Paul and all the surrounding suburbs.

Hi! I'm Bria. I'm a wife and a mama to three little humans, foodie, traveler, and outdoors-lover. I'm also a birth doula and Lamaze childbirth educator. My interest in birth work began after my second baby was born. My passion is in supporting people in their journey to parenthood. Everyone wants to hold the baby.... I'm here to hold the parent[s]! After hearing countless testimonies from birthing people who wish they'd known more before giving birth, I decided to become a doula. My goal is to INFORM, ASSIST, and EMPOWER pregnant people, so that they go into their birth feeling confident and supported. As a doula, I support all birth. Whether you're planning a home birth in a tub, or a C-section in a hospital, I'm here for it. The most important thing to me is that we develop mutual trust, and that you feel comfortable with me by your side. My personality is pretty type-A, and I love numbers and evidence. One of my goals as a doula and childbirth educator is to make sure my clients always know their options, and understand the risks/benefits of the decisions they make. My childbirth ed course is designed to teach you ALL of your birthing options - not just your hospital's "policies". I'm excited to connect with you, and work with you during this lifechanging time!

My partner and I are so grateful to be working with Bria as our birth doula, and we've now taken several childbirth education classes with her. Bria's courses are incredibly informative and her teaching style is engaging and realistic; she makes a Zoom course into a fun time! We appreciate that Bria shares all of the stats/facts and provides the framework for us to make the best decisions for our individual family. We leave her classes feeling more confident and would recommend them to anyone who wants to feel empowered during their journey to parenthood. The postpartum workshop, in particular, is not to be missed!

Hi! I'm Ella. I am a mother to one beautiful daughter born in 2022. I also have a dog who is an English pointer lab mix that is full of energy and loves meeting new people. I live in Lakeville and am serving around the Twin Cities area. My interest in being a doula started when I realized I was really fascinated with birth after having my daughter. I also love supporting those around me and supporting expecting moms seemed to be the best way to support those in my community. My personal experience with pregnancy and birth were both challenging and empowering. To hear that story you would hear about personal transformation, courage, fear, and an immense amount of joy. As a doula I give expecting moms guidance and physical support through labor and birth to help them feel empowered and confident. With my calm and patient approach I create a nurturing space where you can explore your emotions and preferences freely.
