Postpartum Doula & Family Care Specialist - Founder of Peres Family Care For over two decades, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside families during one of the most beautiful and vulnerable seasons of life: the time after birth. My heart is to help new mothers find peace, balance, and confidence as they heal, rest, and bond with their babies. Through gentle guidance and holistic care, I help families create harmony at home, because when mothers are nurtured, the whole family thrives.

I am a Registered Nurse, Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Postpartum Doula who educates and supports women and families throughout the perinatal period.

I’m a mother of 6 who has a passion for helping mothers get the birth they desire as well as the support that is so important for our mental health after birth. I am a certified doula who has experience in birth and postpartum, single and twin pregnancies, as well as a certified childbirth educator. I have experience with all births ranging from home birth to gentle c-sections. Additionally, I have over 7.5 years of breastfeeding experience.

I’m Emily. I love working as a full spectrum doula, helping empower moms to give birth with confidence, recover confidently and be the amazing moms they already are. Compassion and empathy are two of my greatest strengths and I have a passion for providing emotional support for women as they go through one of the most life changing seasons they will ever experience. I grew up in Placerville, California and moved in 2022 to Lexington, South Carolina where I now live with my parents, one sister and three adorable cats. I grew up helping take care of my aging grandparents. We were always serving them in some capacity whether it was entertaining my grandpa with dementia by working on a puzzle with him, cleaning up the kitchen, or chopping up fallen tree branches on the property. When I am not working I love to volunteer to serve at church, sing in the choir, paint, and cuddle with my kitties. I also enjoy spending time with my family and with my best friend John who, like me, has high functioning autism. We enjoy getting to know each other’s quirks and understanding things about each other that most people wouldn’t get. Words are not his strength, but I enjoy learning to use my emotional intelligence skills to read through the lines when he can’t put what he means into words. Being that person that can understand him in a way most people can’t means the world to me. These are some of the things that have kindled my passion to work as a doula. Seeing people’s physical and relational and emotional needs and doing the absolute best I can to fulfill them brings me joy and satisfaction that I am doing what I do best and using my unique skills to be a blessing to other people and to glorify God who gave me these skills!

Having two kids of my own, I understand just how much of a rollercoaster it is to have a child. Whether it is your first or any subsequent addition, the amount of uncertainty seemingly never ceases to remain. After enduring two high-risk pregnancies, I found how difficult it was to transition my thinking from the pregnancy journey to the postpartum journey. Even after this time, I still find sporadic difficulties with the multitude of facets of postpartum life. Understanding my own personal experiences, it is my ultimate passion to help make this transition as exciting as possible and to allow you and your family to enjoy this new phase as much as possible. With extensive personal experience and deep roots in the mental health field, I will provide you with the physical, mental, and emotional support you need to ease the nerves about the steps ahead. My name is Azaria Foster, and I am a dedicated caregiver with over two years of professional experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. My caregiving journey began at a young age, as I was responsible for caring for my younger sister with disabilities starting at age 13. This early experience shaped my deep commitment to supporting others both emotionally and physically. I am passionate about building meaningful, trusting relationships with those I care for while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Currently, I am pursuing an associate’s degree in Radiology, with the goal of continuing my career in healthcare and expanding my ability to serve others in diverse and impactful ways.
